Can you possibly do an updated ace pro settings and setup video?? Would love to know how you’re getting such amazing footage out of the ace pro, which I’ve just gotten myself. Longtime viewer and aspiring motovlogger here. Would love a few mounting point ideas and also how you integrate the mic setup (I heard you can connect directly to cardo/sena for this)! Thanks a million in advance, much love from +65
Great work on the video. But somehow after this, I think I'd go with Action 4. The stabilization doesn't look at par, and the footage not sure if it is the youtube compression at 1080 or the color grading doesn't look pleasing.
Thanks man! Yeah at the time I had the wrong settings put into the Ace Pro. Since then I’ve improved my settings on the camera and it looks 10x better than this. th-cam.com/video/49H67piahsc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6M0DwoyUbSqfsRc7
Keep the content coming! Love your videos mate. Quick question, can you reframe the video on the Ace, like the traditional insta 360? Quick question 2, what bag is that you carry on your rides especially when you have to take along your gimbal and camera? Thanks
Thank you so much man! There is a setting in the ace pro where you can do slight reframing but no where near like the 360 camera. It’s more a traditional action camera vibe. The bag is an Alpinestars motorcycle bag, not 100% of the model…
The only reason I actually think it might be better then the Osmo Action line of dji had been 2 video’s produced by you. The other video’s I have seen about the insta 360 ace pro are not at all convincing me. Maybe when the ace pro 2 comes out I will buy it and compare it to the OA5 pro I bought yesterday. Dji and insta 360 do for sure kill GoPro by miles now.
I've been struggling to get clear engine noise from my Purple Panda mic with the Ace Pro. It's perfect with my GoPro, but quite tragic when used with the Ace Pro's mic adapter 🥲
Yeah same here, I tried turning the output gain down in camera and it seemed to help a little bit. It still sound a bit more muffled and not as much crisp high end as the GoPro audio but I’m still trying to figure out a work around🔥
I think it is preference on how you like the video too look. I think the ace pro looks is way tooo colorful but some people like that. And it’s really good at low light
Yes that is because of the HDR I do not like HDR, at this point there was no way to turn HDR off on the Ace Pro but now you can toggle it off so I never use it now :) watch my recent motovlogs and the footage looks much better.
I'm looking to get into hobby motovlogging, trying to decide between the Gp12 or the Ace Pro. Gp12 for the media mod (cleaner setup) & Ace Pro for AI. How would the Ace Pro hold up in the rain? What with the Mic adapter? Help me choose, please.
It really is a hard choice, the ACE PRO’s features and processor makes it much easier to trust that it won’t freak out on you where as the GoPro can have crashes and freak out. GoPro have been building these types of cameras alot longer though so the image quality I feel coming out of them looks more natural, Ace still destroys everyone for night footage though. But until I learn better settings for the Ace Pro at the moment I think gopro footage looks better during the day and audio. I think the Ace Pro is going to come out with lots of updates and fixes to these problems with time though. It’s a hard choice. I think the Ace Pro 2 or whatever it is going to be called will be crazy.
Hello brother. I'm currently using insta360 ace pro as my motovlogging camera. I'm new to ND Filters. I don't know when to use ND8, ND16, ND32 and ND64. Can you have a minute and explain how to use them properly?
Nice man! Generally I use ND 16 and above when shooting at 30fps 1/60 shutter speed. I haven’t yet used ND 32 or 64 at all since I haven’t had any overexposed footage yet. I will use ND 8 on 60fps 1/120 footage most of the time. But it all depends on the lighting. It’s quite annoying with ND filters, you have to point it out your window to test which one will work best for your day before you go riding. But it’s worth the shot looking better 🤝
Thanks for video! I am still messing with my settings, I don't run ND's (yet) so have stabilisation on, but was wondering what FPS are you running? I am torn, as 60 is smooth, but 24 feels faster. Also do you bother with the colour modes (vivid, Bike1, etc)? Thanks.
For on road motorcycle stuff I shoot 30fps and make my shutter speed 1/60 for that smooth motion blur and looks faster 👀 but yes that requires ND filters during the day :)
Need to second this one mate, good editing and info overall, but without the 1080p Premium HD or 1440p or higher, it's hard to judge the quality of the footage. When I pause on any blurred frame it looks really blotchy; TH-cam just has a really low bitrate for standard 1080p so it's actually better to export a 1080p video as 1440p to get a higher bitrate.
I use the rode lavalier go but I think I’m going to test out the new DJI lavalier (not out in my area yet) also I have a link in my description of my motovlogging setup on Amazon 🔥🔥🔥
@@motorcyclistfromholland8856 I saw an option where eit enhances the video super cool. I forgot the option but I found it on TH-cam. Look it up it makes the video cool

Wollongong baby! I think I might have to get the same camera just to record riding up cambewarra mountain. Good video mate.
Shifting to Ace Pro from Hero 11 and it performed really well. Nice video brother 🔥🔥🙏🏻 loving the roads
Been playing about with the Ace Pro, still trying to figure out the best audio setup but so far the purple panda mic hasn't been too bad.
What lav mic did you use and where did you mounted inside the helmet ?
What mounting system did you use on this helmet ? I have the same one and want to buy Insta Ace Pro.

What microphone did you purchase to use in the video?
Where about in Aussie you from? Might move there soon with the fam from Nz
NSW near Sydney
Just picked up this camera and working on better audio settings as well.
Sickkk, yeah there’s gotta be a better way to get better audio 🤔
For future content whether you'll use an insta 360 or a gopro hero 10?

What's the DB you are using?
Does the Chin Mount come with everything you need to attach the Insta360 Ace Pro to it or do you need more pieces?
What do you need from chinmounts to mount this?
good wee vid mate
Upload in 4K, would like to see the actual quality. Thanks for sharing!
After this video I’ve started uploading in 1440P :)
Looks good mate 👌

What hoodie are you wearing to ride
Action 4 is still the best for motovloggings .
I’d love to try it out😢
Why is that ?
Who knew action camera opinions were worse than PS vs Xbox lol.

@@nignatovskiy9901 At least your misuse of the letter O was somewhat consistent lol.
Unpopular opinion but I don't like the angle of the camera, I see more of your gas tank than the landscape
Yeah I messed it up in this video and had the settings wrong (not wide enough) it’s fixed in my recent vids.
At minute 6 the clouds look a bit weird. What that because of the ACTIVE HDR being on? Do you turn it off normally?
