I usually don't like cases with angular designs because they usually go too aggressive with it but with this one, it looks just right. I love this design.
Best build I've seen in this case so far in my opinion it's so simple and clean not over the top and not low effort just in the middle which is amazing
I really like the overall look of the case, I like the pull-off panels, and I love the design of the pull-out mechanism. I've never bought an Antec case but REALLY wanted to like this one. These are the reasons that I can't buy it for my build: - Both the front panel and the air fins on the front edges seem like they will be a nightmare to keep clean. - It needs to be slightly wider, taller and longer for better cable management, behind the motherboard and inside the PSU shroud. - It needs two 2.5" mounting positions on top of the PSU shroud which is probably too short to fit them in at the moment, so the whole case will need to be slightly taller. - It needs two 3.5" mounting positions behind the motherboard which needs to be wider to accommodate better cable management anyway. (See the Fractal Design Meshify S2 for reference.) - I wonder if inverting the motherboard will increase the temperature on the backplate of the GPU, as it now faces down and heat rises. Probably not an issue for most cards but might be a problem for certain ones notorious for higher temperatures. - It needs some decent mounting points for custom water cooling solutions. - The reset button was deleted? Really? Also just a note about PSU manufacturers. There needs to be a common standard for modular PSU cabling so that we won't need to make cables longer to add bling. Currently aesthetically pleasing cables need to be made as extensions because all the modular PSU manufacturers wire their cables differently. If they were all the same standard then nicer cabling could simply plug directly into any modular PSU without making the existing cable a long mess and creating a cable management nightmare.
I used to have those fans until I read the CFM output which was terrible. They sacrifice a lot of blade length for those ultra-thick RGB tubes. My 140mm Antecs were only a little bigger than normal 120mm fans and the Antec 120mm were tiny. If you must have RGB fans, lookout for Alpenfohn wing boost fans that have nearly double the CFM with the same rim light only thinner.
I was literally just considering to get a smaller case for myself as my phanteks p300 tempered glass broke and hasn’t been in stock for months. And this case supports micro atx which means I don’t have to buy any extra parts just transfer all my hardware. Thanks for the vid.
Love the drawer design, great innovative and exciting idea. I wish it was a liiiiiiitttle bigger, if it could fit a 280mm front rad and had a mesh top panel this would be an amazing pseudo-SFF case. If they made an ATX bigger size it'd be a great competitor. The drawer design is really great!
Finally something different from case manufacturers! Its different in a good way too. I like the look, the design of it, and that it's a mATX case. They switched things up by turning everything upside down and i did not think i would like the look of it but i'm for sure loving it! Good video and editing work man! Keep up the good work!
Interesting case. But I wish the front and rear were not angled. It kind of dates it. A clean symmetrical design would have been perfect for me. With a vertical face and a simpler mesh front would make this a solid purchase for me.
Man this Antec Dark Cubs is so ascetically pleasing, I am gunna do a Micro ATX build with this case for my next computer, I got a 7900 XT that should work nicely.
Finally i play with my comp on the left of my screen so it will be nice having the screen facing me since i cant have my computer on the right living in a room where my door is near my desk this will help a lot
I think the slideout would be better if the front slid off the frame. That way you could use it even when your comp is under a desk or backed up against a wall. It is also kind of strange that the slide out portion doesn't sit level on the table/ground. One end has a foot and the other doesn't, so it tips forward. I'm also not a fan of the front panels. The diamond one is gaudy and the glass prevents air flow. The original cube fronts were better. I wish this was just a mATX version of that because I love the shape of the case.
It's so good to see an mATX case (and air cooling!) after so long. The case isn't perfect but the video hits everything on my wish list. I like the inverted layout too, but it's a pity Antec didn't take advantage of the angles and go angled fans on the front, which would create a little more clearance on the GPU and a cool look, not to mention the lack of drive bays and that huge hole in the base. A small mATX case is good because it still allows putting an ITX mobo in it, so I'm surprised more manufacturers aren't going with that (+SFX-L). Just copy the Cerberus.
On antecs site, it says the 3.5mm jacks at the front are both audio and mic. Not one or the other. Thats cool, itd be nice if alot of cases went that way. Not really sure why it matters to only have one or the other but whatever lol
Such a beautiful case... I wish there was a more budget version without the sliding mechanism (which I assume is a large part of what ramps up the price to 200+ euros where I live)... :( Thanks for the lovely video!
I like it, reminds me in engineering of my Corsair 240 only updated and without dual chamber design. They should have included same options for top panel as front or at least make ventilated version as default. Point of GPU being up is to disperse heat better so why go with glass? I guess you can at least put it open at the top without a panel at all.
Antec !! please make a ATX version of this case !! wow Nick said the same thing as i wrote this lol ! love the mesh front panel design ! B-roll and color scheme is beautiful !! goodbye cat !
I wish it had 5.25" bays. I have no use for radiators or flashing lights on the inside of my computer because I use it as a computer :) I would rather have the space for front mounted I/O ports and other things. It's big enough inside to have a great COMPUTER.
I believe that Nick has the entire global supply of Katana RAM on the shelves behind him - so sleek yet impossible to find xD. Really enjoy the videos when you dissect and showoff builds that aren't the same tried and tested design. Keep up the good work.
Awesome case by the looks of it. Thanks for the build and review. It has the right amount of aggressiveness to make it stand out from the crowd at the moment. Pity we didn't see what the GPU looked like through the top TG panel, but the whole thing looks great nonetheless. Thanks guys.
Hey guys, cool and informative video as always. Would you consider doing a build in the ROG Z11? Would be cool to see a build in that quirky showpiece case, with a Gear Seekers spin. In any case, keep up the great work.
Awesome build fams. Do you test fist all the builds? Sweet b-roll as always. Interesting looking case, love how the whole internal chassis can be removed.
I'm going to buy this case, but what best gpu can I fit in there? And a good CPU altogether? since it looks like it'll get plenty hot for better components... but I want it really much. 😕 with roaring performance.
With these top mount/inverted GPU designs, in these small cases, won't that heatsink blast heat towards the CPU heatsink and overall put more heat in the case before it can vent? As opposed to having top mount fans? Seems like a terrible sacrifice just to see your gpu when you look down.
looks like the razer cube from a few years back, but MATX instead of ITX. The Razer cube was actually an Antec case too. I like it! now if only i could get a gpu i might build a new pc. antec.com/product/case/cube-razer
@@GearSeekers I tried to get one of the original Razer cube cases back in the day but could never get my hands on one for a reasonable price; would love to build in this bad boy. I was about ready to just pay a scalper and get a 3080 but it looks like my family's van is going to be totaled after some young driver ran my wife off the road yesterday. So no 3080 for now but I get to spend entirely too much money on a minivan (yay) #adulting
i like the design but it feels so small and yet it is so big. further fan support and rad support is too minimal. it would be better that you could place fans on top and not just air vents
It's too big for the compatibility it has (yes I realize it is designed for aesthetics, not functionality). I saw it and thought 'cool! Another ITX case' (yes I am a small form factor PC enthusiast) but then I realized it could support mATX and thought 'oh' as I lost all excitement for it knowing it wasn't really tiny like I hoped but then I realized it was 49 litres in volume (10 litres bigger than the NZXT 510 and the volume of almost 7 Dancase DAN A4-SFX) and I thought 'core blimey, better look real good on Instagram photos with sick RGB builds in them then cos that's its last hope'
One of the few cases that's genuinely caught my eye lately, and this video review was superb. Thanks
Aesthetically, Nick's builds are the best for me.
Exactly
You ever seen singularity computers??
@@silvertechmods9215 yup. I can't say that I like them, but they're pretty decent.
It's very nice seeing how much you love your cat. Thanks for keeping that in the video! I bet that kitty is super happy
I usually don't like cases with angular designs because they usually go too aggressive with it but with this one, it looks just right. I love this design.
I'm getting parts to build a pc and your videos for aesthethic builds are really helping know what I want for my own. Keep up the good work.
Best build I've seen in this case so far in my opinion it's so simple and clean not over the top and not low effort just in the middle which is amazing
The slide out function got an audible wow from me. Even though I'm not in the market for a new case this looks super interesting.
I really like the overall look of the case, I like the pull-off panels, and I love the design of the pull-out mechanism. I've never bought an Antec case but REALLY wanted to like this one.

Been running this for my mobile pc setup, no hiccups here. Nice, compact, ready to go and sturdy
Thank you. One of the few folks to actually show case antec! I appreciate y'all!
I like watching Nick
Finding out what makes things tick
With builds that look sick
Idk somehow I thought of a haiku on the spot.
Thank god the side panels come off. I'm a tinkerer and love getting inside and having a fiddle.
reminds me a lot of the old silverstone tj08-e with the matx inverted layout but comparing the two i prefer the more plain look of the silverstone.
Airflow and 2 sides exposure with such a case is the future of Premium cases I would believe. They did quite well and so did you!
I was literally just considering to get a smaller case for myself as my phanteks p300 tempered glass broke and hasn’t been in stock for months. And this case supports micro atx which means I don’t have to buy any extra parts just transfer all my hardware. Thanks for the vid.
Fantastic video fans. This is an interesting looking case with a amazing build in it as usual

I contacted Antec about making a newer version of this case and with a mesh top, i was told there are no plans to update this case......
been loving those cinematic shots from all your vids man
reminds me of the old LIAN LI PC-65B Black Aluminum ATX Mid tower, it motherboard also slid out of the back of the case.
If it’s around $100 I’ll buy it
Got this case right after I saw this video. And I LOVE IT! My thermals are so much better now! Great Video!!!
Love the case, love the camera work, love Bindi Time

Man Antec is always releasing stunners
If this came in white/snow. I'd sell my ATX board and buy a microatx board to rebuild the rig. Love this case!
Think it would be cool to do full custom water cooling with a thick 240 and a shorter video card block like the 3080 FE
Finally i play with my comp on the left of my screen so it will be nice having the screen facing me since i cant have my computer on the right living in a room where my door is near my desk this will help a lot
FINALLY, reasonable sized mATX case! But now I want inverted mATX case without all these fancy things, that make it larger.

Enermax SquA 120mm fans are perfect for this case!
Nice build as always Gear Seekers and thank you for making the blacked out mATX build as I requested
That will be the case for my next build.
I would get one, but 2 hard drives is not enough for me. I'm currently running 7 in my PC. 2x NVME, 3 HDD, 2 SDD
You have the best eye for building hands down. Damn this case is pricey though
Its a old haf itx cube design reinterpreted with a dif front plate .
Th old stacker cm haf system
It's nothing like that at all lol
I like the look of the case a lot, I hate the inverted/upside down build though.
This case definitely looks like a smaller and modernized version of the old Dell XPS 720 case (from the Core 2 era).
mesh side panels should be included for ultimate thermals
Your videos are always so crisp! What kind of bitrate you use?
We shoot almost everything in 6K BRAW 8:1 compression (Probably around 500mbps)
Amazing. Rare to see this kind of superb quality in TH-cam. You must have quite large capacity to store all those large files.

Every video is not a PC build.

I dont get how the front can support 2 140mm fans but not a 280mm rad. Any chance one could squeeze in?

It's exactly the same as a regular orientation airflow wise.
just got this case, not in love with the documentation on the Fan Header.
not gonna lie; I had no idea that antec made memory and it looks legit!
