Not much sense in wishing you luck, since I'm writing this a couple of years AFTER it would have happened. lol You are so full of information on anyone and everything you do that it just amazes me. I know you said you don't have written notes when doing a vlog, but how on earth can you remember all the names and dates and PARTICULARS about them....you're the best! Thank you again for a info-packed vlog.
Just a little note: I went to the Movieland Wax museum in Buena Park and saw the figures from the silent era. That aroused my interest in silent films. Loved them and bought many on 8mm film. This was in the 60's and I was in my early teens.

I actually lived in the building behind here (6550 Yucca) in the early 90s (91-93) and had a few friends that lived in the Hillview. It was not really renovated and had a lot of musicians and junkies living in it. I experienced an earthquake in it where I watched the window sill keep separating from the wall and thought I was going to die lol! Let me tell you, that building is ridiculously haunted. The things I have seen there, both in “real life” and supernatural, still make my skin crawl sometimes.

Wow. Going back and forth from NY to Hollywood... in 1912... Could you imagine the drive... before the Interstate and highways!!?? Or on the old railroad!!?? That's a major undertaking by itself. I'm glad Max did finally bring her from NY., but that story (stories)(Mae Bush)... shame on him. But it all worked out in the end for Mabel. Quite interesting and perplexing.
Hi Don't know if you'll read this since it says you made it 5 years ago but I just found you as you were interviewing Gunnar Nelson. Now I've found some other things that you're doing or you did some years ago. Thank you so much because I am a Hollywood kid. I grew up in Hollywood and those stars that you talk about were before my time but my parents knew of them and I always heard about them. So it's super interesting to get the stories. I especially love the one with that big building by the beach on Pacific Coast Highway. Driving by that my Whole Life I wondered what that was and who ever owned it originally and through the years. So thank you again a million times! Can't wait to find more of your videos.

Hi from across the big pond Jordan just watched your vlog from 23/3/17 about Mabel Normand and the scandal surrounding her(we write the date a Little differently over in Blighty) just a thought seeing as how Fatty Arbuckle and his wife of the time feature Mabel's story. How about doing a vlog sometime about the scandal that ended Arbuckles career?unless you've already done one and I've just not found it yet. Be interesting which apartment it was. I'm sure a city directory of the period would have that information. City directories are (were?) used to list everyone in a city, such as a phone book, but listed people without phones as well. I have found them a great help in my research for local history.
Look up Barbara Mandrell she had a Barbara Mandrell the country singer had a car accident injured her head, now she can’t even stand most people because she has anger fits 😞. It just reminds us Famous people are still human.

Good luck on the audition! Mabel died of TB at age 37. Mabels star on the sidewalk is 3 blocks up. At one time she was making $3500.00 a week!
