Thanks for vlogging here, and capturing it, before it was destroyed by the Woolsey Fire. Would of been nice to visit.
Thank you for capturing this incredible place before the the Woolsey Fire raised it to the ground. May it rise from the ashes like a Phoenix in all its glory. Best wishes!
What a surprise! I wasn't expecting to see the Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman set in this vlog. I immediately recognized the church. So cool. I was hoping this had been a real ghost town that had been repurposed, but I guess instead it was specially built for the movie industry. Thank you for showing us.
very cool ! Thanks to you we got the video of this old western town as now it is burned down sadly
Great Vlog! Did you guys notice the old racetrack there too? It was used in the original Love Bug and other movies and was an actual track for many years!
It has been gone for some time, but the rangers can point it out
The Brady Bunch "Ghost Town" episode was filmed there.
The Westworld main street is filmed also at Melody Movie Ranch in Newhall Ca. The church in this video is featured in Westworld as well. Twin Peaks episodes used the lake and the road just to the south of the Paramount Ranch too. Enjoying your tours very much, thanks Jordan.
Sooooooo absolutely cool. And u did a great job on picking the buildings to look into. Dr Quinn has a couple of excellent episodes focused inside that jail cell. And several were focused around the church. Just overall a great job. Big smiles on my face. Keep doing what ur doing Jordan. U just get better and better.
Thank you, Melissa/Missy!
I don't think the church was there when they filmed Dr. Quinn...it was donated from West World set, many years later.
This is so cool.Great place for Western style Weddings. I have to go see this place because it looks like fun.
Just had to watch again after hearing the ranch burned down from the wildfires!
Yeah, really sad to hear
Love it out there !
Pretty cool that it's open to the public
Love seeing you guys together again! Even Marc Bernardin was put there todsy. . I would love to go there! :-D I watched Dr. Quinn with my mom back in the day. :)
Adam, Good to see you. You always make me and my husband crack up, watching your vids. Love seeing you with Jordan too. : ) I'm surprised that more people aren't out there, considering it's the season for vacationers, right?
Always good to see Adam out and about with you!! Happy Memorial Day!!
The Chase (Marlon Brando), The Love Bug, Reds (Warren Beatty), Gunsmoke, Dukes of Hazzard, Sullivan's Travels, The Sign of the Cross (DeMille), Union Pacific, (DeMille) Helter Skelter, Herbie Rides Again - and a hundred more!
Nice to see you and Adam together. Great video, thanks👍👍👍
This place is in my bucket list
It's not far from the park where MASH, and Planet of the Apes was filmes as well
Daze with Jordan the Lion so awesome. The next time I’m in Southern Cali I’m definitely hitting up that area
Sorry, not no more, this place is destroyed by the Woolsey fire.
I always enjoy seeing you and Adam together. It must be very very quiet at night there for that resident that lives there. Erie too. I used to love watching Dr Quinn. It was a great show!! Happy Memorial day!! Peace to you
Thank you
Hi, Jordan. Glad you're out there with our Adam the Woo. Thanks for bringing us here with ya. I liked the old West World movie. Very still and quiet out there right now. Makes ya wanna put some animated cartoon characters in those empty streets. Lol !
Heartbreaking what the Woolsey Fire did to this amazing place. So many fun times at the annual Banjo and Fiddle Competition held there. Hopefully they will begin the rebuild of the buildings soon. Miss it.
What an awesome ranch. I love the old towns. Great vlog Jordan. Thank you. Love to you and Jah ❤
I remember Dr. Quinn. Recall the church and believe the gazebo and eating area were filmed in the series. Thank you for sharing.
This is the sort of place I would like to explore. Belinda in NC
That was a boot scraper to get the mud and stuff off your boot
Used to do the Renaissance Fair here years ago and one memory is of how HOT it can get there in late Spring. Sadly, the buildings suffered major damage from Woolsey Fire later the year that this was filmed.
I love the crossover vlogs when Adam is in yours and vice versa and sometimes the Trackers, Carpetbagger etc. I like these videos because our interests are so similar.
Thanks, Jordan! I still enjoy watching old Westerns, and I love history, so this was very interesting.
The Brady Bunch episode 'Ghost Town" was filmed here and so was an episode of The Partridge Family where they were coming home from preforming a concert and their bus broke down in a ghost town, it was a Christmas episode don't recall the name of that episode.
Fabulous vlog. Love knowing this is available to walk through. Thanks for sharing.
Now this video will be forever we cherished.
That is so cool. Yes, a cowboy would use the boot scraper to clean the mud of his boots so he wouldn't have to remove them every time he went into a building.
Great Vlog. Dr. Quinn medicine woman was a favorite show of mine. Jane Seymour was a all-time favorite crush. What a beautiful speaking voice she has and Jane pulled off a great American English accent also in Dr. Q.M.W. Happy Memorial Day! Hi to your friend and last but never least Jah!
I liked her a lot in Somewhere in Time
Hi Jordan loved the video.I am a big dr Quinn medicine woman fan.Loved seeing Adam in the video it was through his channel that I found yours thanks for all the videos
Wonderful video, loved Dr Quinn.Thank you Jordan
Watching after the California fires. So very sad it's gone now. I see from recent news pics all that is left is the church and maybe the depot? Very very sad. Thank you so much for showing it to us before that all took place. (And why your videos are SO important!!)
Cool vlog love watching Adam and you together good job ! I used to watch Dr Quinn medicine women and it’s nice to see where it’s filmed . 👍🏻🎥🎬💙😎🦁🇺🇸🐶👍🏻
always great seeing Adam. You don't know what your missing by not watching Dr Quinn medicine woman. That church is deftnally used in that show. And I think a few of the other buildings also. Great video.
Great Vlog!! I've already seen Adam's take on the day and i love when y'all vlog together!! God Bless y'all!!
Love seeing you guys together ☺
Thanks!
I was curious, about the Brady Bunch, as well. Great tour, Jordan! A lot of history on those grounds... 👍
I live right down the street...my dog got on a bark on background a series they were filming once. This is my backyard favorite spot to walk my Buster.
Thank you Jordan, have a great day!
You too, doug
Absolutely. I was thinking of Somewhere in time but couldn't remember the title. Christopher Reeve or is it Reeves? I have heard it pronounced both ways not to be confused Keanu Reeves. God rest Christopher. Live and let die 1973.Thanks Jordan.
The episode "the say U.N.C.L.E affair" from the A-team was filmed here. The team hide the fake russian jet next to the building at 1:20. They good guy general stockwell (Robert Vaugh) chased the bad guy Ivan (David McCullum) all over western town. Even the wooden wagon at 4:51 is still standing there and if that huge oak tree could talk it could tell such wonderfull storys. It hasnt been changed in over 30 years. Very sad that it has been distroyed in a fire.
The partridge family probably filmed their christmas episode here...where their bus broke down in a western town...
Thank you for this I like what y do I like all of Cary Grant movies
Pretty cool the vlog on ttg studios. What street are you on I use to live on yucca St. 1978. The old Carol Burnett building. Hollywood arms I think another cool vlog
Awwwww it makes it so much sadder when you see how it was. Another great vlog. When you see it deserted like that it makes me think how many "extras" that must have been needed to walk up and down the street etc. Great !! 🌹💛🌹
a high school friends grandfather was a caretaker for many years long ago, his house was up on the corner of the property out of town.
Cool! Nothing like this at tip of Africa where I live. Am also interested in examining "artefacts" scattered around on the ground - e.g. finding the tie-dye card.
The building with the green door was the barbershop. The redwood building was the telegraph office.
20:28 the office of Dr Quin, I have watched most of the showes, their was no door to the road though just the one on side
This place burned down, except for the church& railroad station. They are supposed to rebuild, but as of June 2020 it’s still ashes! Don’t go here without checking online to make sure it is ready!
I watched Dr Quinn, tyvm Jordan I enjoyed this :)
Fabulous vlog as always. What a neat place to go visit Thanks for always making things so fun!!
Thanks Vianey
Was Blazing Saddles filmed there? Some of those buildings look familiar!
Wow that's a lot of movie history there. Plus a bonus atw sighting very cool
I don't know if the hanging tree is still out up on the trails, after the fire but that was a very famous tree in many movies.
As you probably heard Paramount Ranch burned down thank you for vlogging the ranch you have a historical video.
What else has been destroyed by the fires? I am in West Virginia so don't know
Great vlog Jordan! Yes, I do recognize this vaugely from Dr. Quinn & Never knew this this was the train depot from X files. Oh that boot scraper , we still use those out at the farm. No tracking animal poo or mud in the house, before you get your boots pulled off.
Outstanding!!!! I just found these and I’m hooked.
The second door you yried opening with the gold latch was Dr Quinns clinic.msny scenes filmed right there on the verandah.
I LOVE Old Western Towns.I Hate That The Gunsmoke Set Is Gone, I Wanted To See It .I Felt So Paranoid When Jordan Was Filming, Like Someone Was Right Behind Us Lol..LOVED It !
It's Great That Jordan Takes Us Along. This Is The Only Way Some Of Us Will Ever See These Awsome Places.
You guys make a great team
Seems they would have left a section of train track at the depot.
Love Westworld Series. Thanks so much Jordan for doing this Vlog and showing us some of its sets.
Youre welcome!
I’m glad you you got to vlog it before the fires took it away, thanks
Sooo... digitti dig walking roun the Paramount Ranch. Its funi i take alot more notice of backrounds in movies now. I sometimes think ... im sure we been there lol. Especially in the ovaseas travels.
At 19:21 it looks like the place where the scene in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood with DiCaprio and the little girl was filmed. However, a quick google says it was the Gene Autry Ranch. Kinda cool you can just walk around the town.
Very interesting, I am sure I have seen these buildings on a few shows I have watched. I enjoyed Dr Quinn show.Thank for the tour Jordan
Sad that it burnt down in the fires.Love these sets. Watch lots of western movies every day.
THIS MOVIE RANCH IS AWESOME, I WOULD LOVE TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT... THANKS JORDAN.
Old filming locations are great to see.Good stuff as usual Jordan.
Westworld really does use alot of that area, just watched the season 1 finale and they utilize the church and most of everything you showed, pretty cool to see. Thanks for the vid!
Awesome place ! With the camera"s set up like that would make me think I was looking at what the main character or even the villian was looking at through their eyes ! Thank you for taking us !
FYI. The filming locations of the TV show Mash and The Planet of the Apes (1968)are both within walking distance of the PARAMOUNT MOVIE RANCH.
I already vlogged it
Had to came back to look at this after the dreadful fire
I just watch his vlog on the fire also and now watching this vlog, holy crow! That last vlog was sad compared to this
shocking isn't it? Hopefully its rebuilt.
I agree Jordan, Westworld is way to gory for my taste. One can only take watching brains being blown away
Maybe dont start the whole season out with a rape, and i could have gotten into it more, but as soon as i watched the first episode, i felt like they were just trying to be shocking, and it just didnt make sense to me
I LOVE IT WHEN YOU AND ADAM ARE VLOGING TOGETHER....HUGS AND KISSES FROM RENO,NEVADA 😘❤️😍
It makes me sad thinking about how it burned las November but it’s nice you were able to do this beforehand. I wonder if they’ll rebuild.
This Vlog Was Great!!.. Love The Western Town!. Thank You!!!
I really love your videos, keep them coming. I look forward to them, get to see places and stuff otherwise I never will.
Cool stuff... Thanks for sharing!
Hey Jordan, Hope all is well. Request time: Can you do a vlog on where the Rifleman w Chuk Connors was filmed? Loved that show. They are running the series again. It's a classic. Thanks! Jeff/Boston
Interesting vlog. Nice to know it's open free to the public. It does look a lot like Knott's Berry Farm. Thanks for taking us out here and for doing these wonderful vlogs for us.
Just saw your update video. So sad it's all gone now due to fire. Hope they rebuild it...
Like I wrote under Adams vlog, lots of The A-Team episodes where filmed there and also in the area around it. Bin there myself when I visited L.A couple yrs ago.
Very cool. Now that we've seen it, we might recognize it more often from now on.. im a big A-team fan, so ill go look
Awesome you guys collaborated my fav 2 vloggers love both your guys videos
saw johnny cash and jane Seymour there many years ago!!!! great place!!!
Wow, cannot believe it is all burnt down. 😢
It would be cool if they let people use that Church for weddings when not in use.
Jordan, I went out to the Paramount Ranch in 1969 to the Renaissance Pleasure Faire, at that time run by the Pattisons. Could you ever go to Lasky Mesa, at the end of Victory Blvd. in the west Valley? They filmed classic westerns out there and the famous scene in GWTW where Scarlett vows never to be hungry again. I walked around out there about ten years ago, and except for kids with paint ball machines, there was no one there and nothing to indicate the filmmaking past. How do I get a T-Shirt like the ones you advertise? Thanks.
Rewatching, it really was amazing!! Love westerns!!
Pretty cool when you two vlog and support each others channel.
Thank you for making this video !
Great Scott where did Adam park the Delorean? 1885 Doc Brown would be Proud.
wesworld what a great ghost town this is awesome thanks mr jordan
Did they use this for the Monkees TV show ever? I feel like I recognize it from the into, the wild west episodes
Great video very interesting
Great video! Reminds of the town I grew up in the 80s.
Great vlog sir!
Thanks!
Interesting Vlog Jordan. Thanks...... Catch you on the next one. Arthur Childs, Oak Harbor, WA.
Thanks Arthur!
That would be creepy as hell living in an old abandoned western town. Especially at night.
