    I have zero signs of Crohn's after 3 years on whole foods vegan. I also stopped Secondary Progressive MS & MRI shows evidence of old lesions shriveling. The nerve damage is still very present in my legs, however I'm to 2 to 3 hours of walking daily & saw a PT for spasticity help. I get healthier & stronger every day. My medical team is speechless. 💯🌱💪🏽💚

      I was told I was "terminal" at 30. I'm 50. Jokes on them for not continuing education. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

      He’s got my vote!! But I don’t think that’s how you get a Nobel Prize award…? What are the requirements?

    Thank you sharing this study!! I’ll remember this: 1/2 a serving of fish per week and 1/2 a serving of meat every two weeks for 100% remission. That’s such a huge deal! Everyone is super sensitive to different types of foods with IBD. Keep up the amazing work to share this information because it’s not really happening on main stream media. ❤️

      Look up High Carb Health here on YT, they have tons of videos on how to heal on a plant based diet. I have ulcerative colitis and I'm currently following that diet, it's very good :)

      It won't work for everyone, but dietary changes should be one of the first things done.

    These findings are very close to what I experience with my blood pressure. I have super high systolic readings, over 200 if not on medication and anywhere around 175 - 195 when on 7 tablets of medication per day and eating meat. Go WFPB and my BP will drop to 145 and below within days.
    But, for some reason I keep going back to the unhealthy stuff until I get a scare from my BP readings, then back to plant based. And large quantities of beetroot jucie when it's really bad.

    I'm going to try plant based. I tried Keto and Various others and I thought it helped for a year. I have pancolitis and I genuinely thought I was in remission but now more steroids, higher doses of biologics, more frequent infusions and next surgery. 🤞plant based might be all i have left to try or lose a colon and I want that to be a last resort. Has anyone following this for IBD kept a diary of how they ate and monitored their bloods etc? Just thinking I might.

    10:48 CMC (carboxymethylcellulose) appeared to have no adverse effects on the gut?
    Then why did you say the opposite just two days ago (th-cam.com/video/Z6IjeMtH0O0/w-d-xo.html)?

    i know ppl who keep their crohns down with carni/not eating any plant, and once they do plants their symptoms come back
    it all not as easy as it seems 🧐

    • @somecat22
      @somecat22 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I would think that they were eating plants that they have a sensitivity too. The thing about Carni is it is an extreme elimination diet. Then if they go back on plants, they at that point have completely changed their gut bacteria resulting in poor digestion of all plants. Where likely if they discovered their initial sensitivities it could have fixed the problem and not subjecting themselves to future health probelms the Carni diet brings.

    • @sooooooooDark
      @sooooooooDark 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@somecat22 yea im not saying that people shouldnt eat plants, but just assuming that veganism will fix all ur problems is just not right - some really do have problems with (all) carbs/fiber/plants 😕

    • @sCiphre
      @sCiphre 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@sooooooooDark what everyone is saying is that vegetarian diets help prevent problems, not heal problems. Healing problems is much harder.

      It's possible they had leaky gut, which made them develop histamine reactions to other foods besides meat (usually starts with their favorite foods or foods they eat often).

    • @flattlandermontgomery1524
      @flattlandermontgomery1524 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The fact that if they eat plants, their symptoms come back means that they are not actually healing, but rather just masking their symptoms. IMO that's a terrible way to go, to never eat plants. They will trade one set of symptoms for a whole host of other health problems.
