Barry (middle) is the oldest brother. Robin (no beard) and Maurice are twins and are three years younger than Barry. They started performing at ages 9 and 6. They were already singing in perfect three part harmony. Yes this was falsetto. They all three have amazing voices. Write all of their own songs. To describe Robin's voice is to say he has a beautiful haunting and vulnerable sadness to his voice. Never heard anything like it. The song, For Whom The Bell Tolls showcases Robin's beautiful voice and Barry's voice. Together they make a completely different voice. In the very first part of the chorus in mentioned song they sing together before Robin goes solo. It's incredible. The video I suggest is where they're under the Brooklyn Bridge. You've probably heard their song Staying Alive. Twelve years after Barry was born they got a younger brother Andy Gibb. He was born the year the Bee Gees were established. To establish his individual talent Andy started a solo career. His like Barry's mini me. They even have identical birthmarks at 12 years apart. Andy's first three singles hit number one. His first hit he's live on the Midnight Special singing, I Just Wanna Be Your Everything. In January of 88 they announced Andy would be joining the Bee Gees as a permanent member. Sadly before this was to happen Andy died a couple of months later on March 10th just five days after his 30th birthday. I have over 150 favorite songs by them. Each just as great as the next. Their chest voices are amazing too. You will not be disappointed by these brothers. They're incredible.

Staying alive, Tragedy, Love so right, More than a woman, Nights on Broadway, Love you inside and out, How deep is your love, Night Fever and Fanny ( be tender with my love)! Thats the Univers of the Bee Gees. I grow up with the best Group ever. Nobody can switch there Voices like the Bee Gees. And Barry's falsetto is not from this Planet. ❤❤❤
You gotta go down that rabbit hole with The Bee Gees.. Their catalog of classical hits is what’s phenomenal.. Barry (who is the oldest) is the only living brother left.. Andy Gibb who also sung was the youngest and the first to pass away. Robyn and Maurice were their fraternal twins and are no longer with us either.. Welcome to an Era of the most beautiful music known to man.. Enjoy it as much as we did ❤
They are in the Rock and Roll and Songwriters Hall of Fame. They had 9 Billboard Top 100 #1 singles. Wrote and sang over 1000 hits. Those #1's don't include the #1 s that they wrote for other artists like Celine Dion, Kenny Rodgers, Dolly Parton, Barbara Streisand, and many others. The Two on each end are fraternal twins, Robin and Maurice Gibb the oldest brother in the middle is Barry.. Their catalogue is Phenomenal. They ruled the disco era but are so much more than disco singers, They were known for their falsettos but sang in many different registers. I'm certain that you've heard many Bee Gee songs without realizing who it was. Staying Alive is probably their most popular but they sang from the late 50s to the early 2000s. You can pick any song that they sang and it with be great.
They have been singing together since Barry (falsetto) in the middle was 8 and the fraternal twins Robin (vibrato) and Maurice were 6 so they are so in tune with each other. They also have ordinary voices.
This song was donated to the children’s charity “UNICEF” it has produced over $10 million dollars plus so far. Their falsetto voice started in the disco era with Stayin Alive. Some of their older songs are more of their natural voices. Check out their playlist .
I am 70. These were my favorite singers and musicians and songwriters of that whole best ever musical Era of the 60's 70's and 80's, and this is my favorite song EVER!!!!!!!

Thanks for the insight! Crazy that all of them were excellent singers! Definitely in the genes! Sad that Andy died so young before he could join his brothers! 😞
The BeeGees are one of the best groups that have ever existed. They not only made great music for themselves, but they made great music for many other well-known artists.
Get ready…They performed as a trio from 1958 until 2003 with Maurice’s (right) passing. Over 1,000 songs, written for themselves and other top voices of 3 decades. Besides this one, ‘Alone’ is my favorite. Another great harmony song is ‘Run To Me’, back when they were teens! And the live Midnight Special TV show performance of ‘Nights On Broadway’ is a normal voice rocker, but also the first song that they use the falsettos in…🔥
They are "The [B]rothers [G]ibb". The first song I loved from them was "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", prior to their foray into disco for which they are mostly known.
The Bee Gees never dissapoint." All of their music is absolutely beautiful and wonderflul to listen to. Try next: "Fanny Be Tender With My Love" An absolute masterpiece .
Money from this donated to UNICEF. I love seeing the orchestra playing behind them. Can you imagine having that today? Orchestra and singers in one take.
The brother on Barry's right Robin did most of the lead singing in the 60's. When they recorded "Nights On Broadway" did Barry realize he could sing falsetto & the rest is history.
This is one of my favorite songs of theirs!! I'll never get sick of hearing it! You'll have to check out Robin's voice, too! He's phenomenal!! Nobody sounds like him!! Two of his are "Massachusetts & I started a joke".😉👍
Barry Gibb in the middle is the oldest of the 3 brothers. His natural voice is baritone. They switched to falsetto in the late 70's during the disco craze. Sadly, the twins Robin (left) and Maurice (right) passed away years ago. Barry is the last surviving member of the Bee Gees. The horn section in this performance was the members of the band Chicago.
I grew up with this great group & had a lot of their albums. Most people react to their disco era. My favorites are from the 60's-70's. Some of their early hits were "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "Holiday", "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "The Singer Sang His Song", "Lonely Days", "Melody Fair", "First Of May", "I Started A Joke", "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", "Massachusetts", "To Love Somebody" etc.
They are all brothers, sounded like the radio to their mum as little tackers singing harmony. She was a band singer, their dad was in the band. The 2 shorter guys Robin and Maurice, said Morris, called Mo, were fraternal twins. Barry's musical instincts were spot on. A tech asked for 6 tracks to blend in the best. He did 6, note, inflection and all the same. That's how it goes when he's the writer. He asked to add a bit to a song just recorded, very minimal adustment needed for it to fit perfectly from his head, nobody had heard it before. At first they couldn't read music even, had no formal training. Learned of the existence of volce falsetto doing Nights on Broadway. Ran with it. Competed as brothers do, Barry could keep it up longer, could add vibrato, very unusual. All three did lead at different times. Rabbit hole starts in the 60's. Born on the Isle of Mann grew up in Aussie, back to the Uk, contracts were hard to get in aus, their parents signed for them, young, went on to the USA, much younger bro Andy followed years later.

They are all brothers. The lead singer is Barry Gibb, the other two are twins...one with long hair is Robin, the other is Maurice. All but Barry have past away!
They are brothers, so not only do their voices have the same genetic qualities, they sang together all their lives. They are unparalleled in vocal harmonies. They have a huge catalog to explore. They were IT in the 70's. The movies Saturday Night Fever and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band both feature the music of the Bee Gees. They were the background music of so many of our lives! Thanks for a great reaction!
you are missing the point, Sgt. peppers was written by the Beatles and was their album. The Bee Gees did the movie as a homage to them cause they were a big influence on them when they started out. I think Nowhere man was the only song the Bee gees did in the movie that was not on Sgt. Pepper but it was written mainly by John Lennon.
Over 1000 songs written and sung by them all uniquely BeeGees but totally different. They had no genre and their vocal range was phenomenal and harmonies unmatched. They are brothers Barry the eldest in the middle and twins Maurice or Mo the bearded one and Robin the clean shaven one. They preferred to sing around one microphone. Listen to How deep is your Love and Alone.
"Too Much Heaven" was The Bee Gees' contribution to the "Music for UNICEF" fund, on January 9, 1979. Later, the song was published on their thirteenth original album, "Spirits Having Flown," where it hit #1 in both the US and Canada. In the US, it was the first single out of THREE from that album, to interrupt a different song's stay at #1. It knocked "Le Freak" down for two weeks, before it could jump back up to #1 again. Then, "Too Much Heaven" also rose to the top three in the UK. In the US, it became the fourth of six consecutive #1 holdings -- which equaled the records set by Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, and the Beatles, for the most consecutive #1 songs...now that's pretty "COOL!" (grin) Here are two of my favorites (from earlier years -- songs that we loved to sing in my little folk band, in the 60s) that you can find right here on YT (just check for the exact titles, as shown below)... Bee Gees "Words" on The Ed Sullivan Show (1968) Bee Gees - Could It Be (1965) Now, I can't say that I like all Bee Gees songs. There are some I don't like at all, but it's not because of their sound. THAT, I have always loved. I just don't like some of the subjects, plus, it seemed as I was beginning to walk BACK with the Lord in 1975 (after 14 years of trying to ESCAPE from Him...but that's impossible), the Bee Gees were putting out more and more songs of which I had no interest in listening. I have always thought was sad (sigh). This one -- "Too Much Heaven" -- is an exception to that rule. Thank you very much for your reaction, and for bringing some pleasant nostalgia into my life today. 😀
Barry Gibb is in the Middle Robin Gibb is on the left Maurice Gibb is on the right Barry is the oldest and Robin & Maurice are twins. They have been singing together since the sixties. They also have a younger brother Andy Gibb who had a solo career. He looks and sounds like Barry.
These people in the world that stick to one group of music that's you you should go by this you live once you want to hear it all all categories of music you learn today
I just heard them doing this acapella.. on a British talk show.. they didn't need an instrument.. their voices were just spot on.. Sibling harmony.. amazing.. Barry.. the oldest.. lead in the middle.. the twins.. RIP.. Robin and Maurice.. and their youngest brother.. Andy.. my preteen crush.. was the first to pass away.. Lot of great music if you want to go down that rabbit whole..
Pure Raw... TALENT.. the brothers Gibb... They are all gone now but Barry, Robin, Maurice, and Andy Gibb have all passed away.. the 70s were fkn AMAZING...
Thanks for this reaction. The story of The Bee Gees is fascinating to me. They also had a younger brother, Andy Gibb, that had a solo career. Robin and Maurice were fraternal twins.
Hi Im A 75 year old woman from Aotearoa New Zealand. They were favourites of mine when I was a young mother. They fill my heart with joy hearing them again.❤
The Bee Gees are 3 brothers (the one in the middle is Barry and Maurice and Robin are twins). Barry is the only one left. They were born on the Isle of Man and then moved to Manchester, UK, before emigrating to Australia. They then returned to the UK before moving to the USA. They also had a younger brother called Andy who died at a young age. They had loads of fantastic songs in different genres and decades. They also wrote for other famous singers.
My number one listen to group. Goat. Everybody says this is not what I expected. But the Bee Gees have been around since the 60s. They have written over 1000 songs. Barry is still Kickin. He was considered the lead singer of the group which caused a lot of friction between him and Robin. They broke up very briefly I think maybe 18 months and then realized they didn’t have anybody to share their success with. They are my favorite group of all time and I was blessed enough to be able to see them in 1978 with my now husband.❤
They just make you melt! It takes you back to the 70’s and ohhhhh😊makes me want to go watch Saturday Night Fever! And yes this is how they always sing ❤
Brothers Gibb (Bee Gees) - Barry (middle), Robin (left), Maurice (right). Robin & Maurice are fraternal twins. Catalog includes 100s of songs, which they all wrote themselves. Also wrote for others. Ever hear of Islands in the Stream?
My first gift every from my soon to be husband was a BeeGees album in 1977? 1978? (We got married in 1979) The 70s had some amazing music, despite what the critics say. And when I was in college, it was Heart, Kansas, and Boston. And Bruce Springsteen, FOREVER..
so they also have a little younger brother, named Andy who sadly passed on quite some time ago... but he also sang on his own I encourage you to look up Andy Gibb. he looks exactly exactly like his big brother Barry, who is in the middle in this particular video.
The BeeGees were simply one the most technically perfect vocal groups in history. This song stands out on so many levels. Lyrically, it's astoundingly perfect it's more akin to a sonnet than a song due to the depth of the lyrics. And their performance is simply perfection with a full backing orchestra and all in one take WOW ❤😂
These three brothers have been singing together for decades by this time. They do have very high falsetto ranges. All three of them. The middle guy is Barry , the one with a beard is Maurice and the other is his twin brother Robin.
If you want to listen to more great Bee Gees hits...Stayin' Alive, Night Fever, If I Can't Have You, You Should Be Dancing, How Deep Is Your Love, How Do You Mend A Broken Heart, Nights on Broadway, Jive Talkin', More Than A Woman! All Great!!

Crazy talented family! The hits kept coming!
Bee Gee’s stands for “Brothers Gibb” they had younger brother Andy.
Staying Alive, You should be dancing, winds of change, lovers prayer, spirits having flown
Appreciate the suggestions!
They are all brothers. The lead singer is Barry Gibb, the other two are twins...one with long hair is Robin, the other is Maurice. All but Barry have past away!
So sad they’ve all passed, but what a legacy they left!
@@setonhillstudiostheir sister is also alive.
@@setonhillstudiosBarry is alive
They are brothers, so not only do their voices have the same genetic qualities, they sang together all their lives. They are unparalleled in vocal harmonies. They have a huge catalog to explore. They were IT in the 70's. The movies Saturday Night Fever and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band both feature the music of the Bee Gees. They were the background music of so many of our lives! Thanks for a great reaction!
Sgt. pepper's was about the Beatles, specifically that album.
Sgt pepper is the Beatles not the Bee gees
@@bryanbutler8713 The Bee Gees are in the movie.
@@sarablack2547 I said the movie, the Bee Gees are in the movie.
you are missing the point, Sgt. peppers was written by the Beatles and was their album. The Bee Gees did the movie as a homage to them cause they were a big influence on them when they started out. I think Nowhere man was the only song the Bee gees did in the movie that was not on Sgt. Pepper but it was written mainly by John Lennon.
The Bee Gees were the greatest ever! Their music touches your heart and soul!! Perfection!!
Brothers Gibb- BGs-Barry in middle, twins Robin on left & Maurice on the right. Brother Andy was mostly a solo but also sang some with his brothers.
They could all sing in any register. Truly amazing voices!!!
Wow!!! I have to check out some of their older stuff before they started doing more falsetto! Much appreciated!
Yes all three are Bee Gees “Brothers
Appreciate it!
How Deep is Your Love, will show their range comparatively.
Appreciate it! Can’t wait to hear more from them!
Their range, harmony and song writing skills are second to none. The Brothers Brilliant never disappoint. So much talent in one family.
Absolutely! A truly talented family
When it comes to the 70s, soft rock, disco and R&B soul rocked! This type of good music is gone and now there's crap!
There’s still a lot of good music out there nowadays, but I get where you’re coming from!
Four Bee Gees' brothers. Barry (still alive today, March 2024), Maurice and Robyn (R & L). Their youngest, Andrew, died too early.
they are singing in their falsetto voice. the lead singer in the center is the last living of the brothers, Barry Gibb
Sibling Harmony, nothing compares.
No lies told! Absolutely unbelievable!
In the US, it became the fourth of six consecutive #1 holdings -- which equaled the records set by Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, and the Beatles, for the most consecutive #1 songs...now that's pretty "COOL!" (grin)
Here are two of my favorites (from earlier years -- songs that we loved to sing in my little folk band, in the 60s) that you can find right here on YT (just check for the exact titles, as shown below)...
Bee Gees "Words" on The Ed Sullivan Show (1968)
Bee Gees - Could It Be (1965)
Now, I can't say that I like all Bee Gees songs.
No problem, thanks for all the info and for checking out the video! ❤️
Maranatha!! 🙋😘🌈💞🌹
Barry Gibb is in the Middle
Robin Gibb is on the left
Maurice Gibb is on the right
Barry is the oldest and Robin & Maurice are twins. They have been singing together since the sixties.
They also have a younger brother Andy Gibb who had a solo career. He looks and sounds like Barry.
It’s in the genes I guess! Amazing singers and a phenomenal song! Can’t wait to hear more from them!
One take.No gimmicks. No auto tuner. And all monies for this track to charity.
Watch their song in the 60s To Love Somebody. That’s their natural voices
Thank ya! 😄
These people in the world that stick to one group of music that's you you should go by this you live once you want to hear it all all categories of music you learn today
I don’t disagree! Trying to spread my wings some and learn as I go. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the suggestion and stopping by the channel! Incredible indeed! Can’t wait to hear more from them!
Thanks for this reaction. The story of The Bee Gees is fascinating to me. They also had a younger brother, Andy Gibb, that had a solo career. Robin and Maurice were fraternal twins.
Oh wow, that’s so cool! Thanks for swinging by to check out the video!
Hi Im A 75 year old woman from Aotearoa New Zealand. They were favourites of mine when I was a young mother. They fill my heart with joy hearing them again.❤
Hi! Thanks so much for hanging with us and checking out the video!
❤ WOW ❤
Bee Gees song Fanny( be tender with my love). Its their masterpiece!
I’ve heard that one was amazing! Thanks for sharing! 😄
Thanks so much! Incredible singers!
Barry is singing this song to his wife in the audience. My music, my time, I’m 70 and he still gives me chill bumps! 3 brothers.
Thanks for the info and swinging by the channel! Such an incredibly talented group!
Barry Gibbs's initials....... Bee....... Gee..... tah-dahhhh🎉
😂🤣 That’ll do it!
I MISS THE 70'S !❤❤❤❤
I guarantee it! Incredible talent then! ❤️
They just make you melt! It takes you back to the 70’s and ohhhhh😊makes me want to go watch Saturday Night Fever! And yes this is how they always sing ❤
Thanks so much for swinging by and glad you enjoyed it!
Love the ‘disco” songs but their ballads blow me away
Love the unique character of their voices! Amazing!
Staying Alive
Now that one I’ve actually heard. So much to check out from them! Phenomenal! Thanks for stopping by the channel!
They are in falsetto but also sing in their normal voices.
Brothers Gibb (Bee Gees) - Barry (middle), Robin (left), Maurice (right). Robin & Maurice are fraternal twins. Catalog includes 100s of songs, which they all wrote themselves. Also wrote for others. Ever hear of Islands in the Stream?
Never heard of it!
@@setonhillstudiosIslands in the Stream was a super famous duet song by Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton
@@lindanichols3415 Oh cool! I bet that’s killer! Thanks for sharing!
My first gift every from my soon to be husband was a BeeGees album in 1977? 1978? (We got married in 1979) The 70s had some amazing music, despite what the critics say. And when I was in college, it was Heart, Kansas, and Boston. And Bruce Springsteen, FOREVER..
Awesome! And yessss, all killer bands you just named! Thanks for stopping by and sharing! 😁
so they also have a little younger brother, named Andy who sadly passed on quite some time ago... but he also sang on his own
I encourage you to look up Andy Gibb. he looks exactly exactly like his big brother Barry, who is in the middle in this particular video.
Any of their beautiful songs please from these beautiful men, they're untouchable even today, still listen after 50yrs.thank you.
They’re so good! I bet anything you choose to listen to of theirs is spectacular!
@@setonhillstudios absolutely x
The BeeGees were simply one the most technically perfect vocal groups in history.
This song stands out on so many levels. Lyrically, it's astoundingly perfect it's more akin to a sonnet than a song due to the depth of the lyrics.
And their performance is simply perfection with a full backing orchestra and all in one take WOW ❤😂
So amazing!
THE GIBB BROTHERS ALSO HAVE A YOUNGER BROTHER ANDY WHOM WAS AWESOME.
🎵🎙🎶
So cool! That whole family has talent! Absolutely amazing!
All Great!!
