Yanmar 424 Static Pull Test - More Power!

Ok this might have been more about fun and curiosity, however, we did it anyway. Just how hard will an Yanmar 424 pull? We found max static pull to be roughly 800 kg or 1763lbs. What does that mean to you? That's how hard it'll pull that box blade, plough, disc, log or even just how hard it'll push into a pile of dirt to grab a scoop.

I have one of these. Is it normal for the gas pedal to start pushing back when you are trying to use the tractor like a bulldozer?

So, it wouldn't even spin the tires?

We took precautions to prevent it from spinning out or the test would be point less. The chain ran at a bit of an angle so the harder it pulled, the more down pressure we’d have. Plus weight in the bucket. Oh and we had to remove the grass/top soil to get to the clay.

We’re going to try it at some point however I think putting enough weight on it to keep it from slipping could be a challenge.

@@prequipmentsales Yes sir, just add some weight. I would love to see how much that I-HMT transmission could muster. You'd be the first on the web to have that.
