  • If you’re shopping for a small tractor don’t overlook the Yanmar SA series. These tractors give you great features, an incredibly comfortable operator station and unparalleled reliability.

I studied subcompact tractors for two years before I made a purchase. I was down to Kubota, TYM and YANMAR. I needed the smallest model for my business to get in and out of customers gates. After studying them all closely, I pulled the trigger on the YANMAR 223. It has been an amazing tractor for its size. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a sub.

Very nice machine! I'll definitely be considering one of these soon. Thanks for the info!

Can't go wrong with a tractor that has been providing motors to 75% of the tractor building market for years and now instead of buying a tractor with a yanmar motor shoehorned in you can buy a tractor that's been built around the motor by yanmar.

Nice video. I noticed you passed on explaining what the yellow button was when you moved to the left side in the video. I had the 325 on my list until I went to visit the dealer and viewed it and dealer told me that when reversing with PTO on, that you have to push that button each time you reverse or it shuts down. Why did they do this? This is the only compact tractor manufacturer that did this that I know of. I understand the kill switch if you get off the seat but that was a deal breaker for me. I know I could wire around it but I should not have to. Hope Yanmar sees this and considers changing it. Also, you told us about the protective skid plate but when I asked my dealer, he said it cannot be used if putting a mid-mount mower on the unit which I want to do. I really wanted to get this 325 but those issues have me concerned. Any comments from PR Equipment or others that have a Yanmar 324 or 325 would be helpful. Talk me down off the ledge please! :)

It actually stems from consumer regulations. Much like every tractor style riding mower currently available it has the safety feature. Keep in mind it only applies when mid-pto is engaged. Not an issue when using rear only. I own a 324 and it's never bothered me but then again I don't have the belly mower.

I love my 424, better traction and ground clearance for rocky property. Even JD uses a Yanmar engine.

Yanmar is my choice. I’m buying brand new later this summer and sold my Kubota (great machine) but Im Going bigger and 325 is right for me.
I looked at others and kioti makes a nice machine too. But when they told me that damn thing had a kioti made DingDong motor I spit that free coffee out and walked to my truck and damn near threw up.
    Yanmar here I come.

I got that. “CIP” cip staff is expensive sir. I do like the tractor but no MSL? Summit has a lot more standards future than Japanes Ynnmar.

Oh I could teach a class on “Summit” tractors built by ITL otherwise know as Solis. We we’re a Solis dealer and it’s the only line we’ve ever terminated. Also, when you really start looking pricewise, they’re not that great of deal not to mention you really don’t get a dealer to support you.

    I have a '21 SA324. What is the difference between the 324 and 325 ?

    • @prequipmentsales
      @prequipmentsales  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Not much to be honest. Originally the plan was to have rear hydraulics. Currently the only difference is 12v power outlet.

Loader lift capacity very misleading. Will not lift spec weight.

That’s not our experience. I wonder if yours is set wrong.. I personally own one of these and mine moves 4x5 round bales regularly which is dang impressive!

@@prequipmentsales Checked by dealer and talked directly to Yanmar factory tech, All checks out . Tractor meets factory specs . With heavy load (will only lift 60-70% of spec) power steering cuts out 50% of the time. Solution- if you want power steering, don’t lift so much. Losing power steering half way through a turn with a load , I still say , is dangerous. Yanmar says it’s normal operation.

Thing looks tall narrow and tippy as well.
Seat height looks like it's at about nearly 100% of rear width

Would that 3 point be enough to move boats around ? Biggest weighing about 6k total weight?
