I have a theory that the way for someone to become dragon is by keeping their drecionic powers under control and magma worms could be the result of losing control i think this theory holds some truth to me because florissax says to your character, one day may u become dragon whole, makes me think that becoming a dragon is possible but very rare.
Great video! A thing to mention is that in his incantations state that one day he'll consume the body and the soul of his devourer and I'm wondering those who turn into Magma Wyrms are actually Modern Dragons rebelling against their devourer. But due to them not being strong enough result in the strange transformation that we see
Amazing video, defs earned my sub. I've been really looking for a good updated dragon lore video post Shadow of the Erdtree 8:20 I could be mistaken here but Magma wyrm form seems like a curse/punishment, not a progression of dragon communion. The scalesword description says its acurse for the transgression of Dragon Communion, meaning someone or an establishment identified it and deemed it a transgression. before hand the same description calls these dragon communers Heroes which furthers this case, heroes of placidusax for example? Another interesting thing is wondering if Bayle was involved in Marika over throwing the hornsent/if placidusax was their lord, or Bayle was involved in the hornsent becoming the ruling party, either way whoever ruled after the Age where Placidusax was Elden Lord mustve been really grateful or an accomplice who abandoned Bayle after... a tendency awfully similar to someone we know The craziest thing ive been crackpotting with tinfoil hats is where Bayle is from as a Dragon, hes so wierd compared to ancient dragons that most likely came before. ive been moved to think he was Human before, by what Florisax says about him and Igon, it could mean more than just personality similarities, maybe he/she was the first communer, but its a very loose theory considering it was made to entice consumation of Drake hearts

It’s worth noting magma wyrms are four armed. So they are closer to ancient dragons than drakes are. At least anatomically.
Amazing jam packed lore video, love learning of the dragon communions and lore behind them. Thank you for making my knowledge increase! lol
Glad you enjoyed it!
@noctugal Yeah man! Can't wait to see more from you, got my full support!
Underrated lore youtuber. Great video!
