Hey there! I do video essays, commentary, and whatever interests me with my little setup!
Mephisto Rising | Agatha All Along
Mephisto has been on everyone's minds since episode 3 of Agatha All Along, but will he make an appearance. Many are skeptical--and with good reason. If the name Mephisto having been said in Agatha All Along isn't enough to prove he'll appear, could Fortnite perhaps be an indication?

The Salem 7 & Nicholas Scratch | Agatha All Along
มุมมอง 8342 หลายเดือนก่อน
Agatha All Along just released, and I was curious about the origin and identities of both the Teen character, as well as the Salem Seven. They are clearly different from their comic versions, but is it also possible Agatha has a closer connection to the Seven than we think? Also, is it possible the Teen is not Wiccan, but in fact the son of Agatha Harkness? Join this channel to get access to pe...
The Numen, Nox & Marika | Elden Ring Lore

In the past, I have theorized about the connection between the people of Marika, the Numen, and the people of the underground Eternal Cities. In this video, I plan to delve deeper into this connection, connecting what we know about the Numen to what we know about the Nox, particularly their connection to Queen Marika. Enjoy! Marika is Odin | Elden Ring Lore Inspiration & Lore
Turns out, the Numen use to be Shaman in the Land of Shadows in the DLC. According to the Shaman Village.
I think the Mephisto skin in Fortnite is likely more of a coincidence as the season is centered around Dr. Doom and one of Doom’s most iconic moments is battling Mephisto with Dr. Strange to try and free his mother’s soul. If it does tie into Agatha it’s a convenient bonus but there’s been a giant tower obviously summoning Mephisto right outside Castle Doom all season so I think that’s more likely.
Eric Voss going crazy more so each episode. Marvel needs to rip the bandaid off so he can rest in peace! 🤣🤣
25:00 i believe grey color of the skin is reflecting lack of greater will's grace.Same goes for covered eyes. They don't want anything to do with grester will and it's hrace
6:48 Four empearians other than Marika are Ranni, Malenia, Miquella and Gloam-Eyed Queen not Messmer
Watch out, you can trade your soul for a weapon in Fortnite!
Perhaps Marika and Radagon were fused together in a jar?
Love this!
I think the samurai is actually the influence of Okina, I believe you were closer to accurate with the Irish inspiration for Elmer and the Eochaidians.
I understand they want to keep some mystery in the game, and for people to make their own conclusions. But it really sucks to me that so many things are vague. And unfortunately we might never get actually answers
Great video! I definitely agree that the nox are numen, though after the DLC I have my own theories about the Numen's role in the early history of the lands between
I'd love to hear them if you'd like to share!
I'm so glad they're doing weekly releases for the episodes but dropping these first two together was very smart and I can't wait to see how this show pans out since the last two episodes are airing together the day before Halloween
good
This supports the theory that Marika is the Gloam-Eyed Queen. Both queens of very similar nations. I see them as like Miquella/St. Trina, two halves of a whole
I feel like the nameless demigods in the Shadow Realm might not necessarily be Marika's children, but that of another Empyrean, maybe even the GEQ. It is very curious that those coffins are only found by the three finger ruins sites.
What is with the random high pitch noises aaarghhh 7:43
Was Messmer stated to be an empyrean somewhere? I must’ve missed that.
I believe the Shadow Tree is the Crucible Great Tree corrupted and blackened to the form it is today only there now to hold the shadow realm and the Erdtree. Back when the two realms were still one land the Shaman could have been thoughs from the Eternal Cities before it was underground that lived there at the time. Like a village of Celtics living in the middle of Asia Minor for example.
There is no Greater Will anymore. Once the Greater Will sent Metyr and after that the Elden Beast to the lands between. Then is Galaxy was destroyed and causes the primeval current and brought the glinstones to the lands between. Metyr lost contact to the Greater Will and that happened long before Marika. This is how I understood it in the Ymir Questline and all the Items that you can get there. I guess The Greater Will was also the God of Placidusax because there is an Elden Ring Symbol in Farum Azula and when we enter the arena Placidusax looks like he is still trying to get a connection to his God but he cannot answer. Thx a lot for your Video. always looking for other theories and people that love this world as much as I do.
Good video! I like it. 👍 Had a crazy thought, and it started when you talked about how “scion” can mean having come from a plant: What if, if we unmasked the Black Knife Assassins, they were all just… mimic tears of Marika? I get that there’s BKA’s with names, and seeming lineages of their own (I.e. Black Knife Tiche and her mother…?), but like… what if the Nox figured out how to do that? How to tease Marika’s essence, somehow, out of the roots that were close enough to them? Idk am I missing certain things? I’m sure I am - help me out, lore community. 🤓
For me the biggest connection between the Nox and the numen is that the numen where stuffed in jars (expected to fuse) like they where made from something else. And the Nox created the silver tears, which are supposed to be an attempt to create life. Which the greater will may have not allowed, hence they severed the connection with it. What if numen where made by the nox? What if they are made of silver? And when stuffed in the jars the "blend" because at base they are made from mercury? I mean there´s also the simple etymology of the word ie. erdtree = earth tree / numen = new men, new life.
Nice idea the one of new men. But they are mostly women 😢 and in Latin numen is like omen
@@marcoreccagni152 i get that but the term omen is already in game
I knew there was some connection with Marika and The Nox when I found one of her seals behind a dragonkin boss..they dont leave stuff anywhere for nothing
It’s worth noting magma wyrms are four armed. So they are closer to ancient dragons than drakes are. At least anatomically.
FWIW, the giant figures on the chair crypts are wearing Nox clothing; their outfit is unique but composed of the same materials and motifs as the living Nox we encounter and their armour we can acquire. If they have an origin separate from the Nox then they have nonetheless integrated into Nox society in some fashion.
The giant horned humanoid hanging in the storehouse might be related somehow, they are at least similarly sized humanoids with very skeletal faces despite having most of their flesh still.
The Gloam Eyed Queen was also an Empyrean. If you believe Melina was the Gloam Eyed Queen then I guess she counts too.
but can bayle really consume a lord of the frenzy flame?
Nice lore shorts bro
Count Ymir's hat is reminiscent of the Talisman of Beasts in Demon's Souls. The revelation that miracles and sorcery originate from the same source.
Our minds continue to open ❤
I went to another room and came back and thought you were Andrew Henry for a second
Who is Andrew Henry?
That intro plus beat is 🔥
Numen predating GW - what is the source on that? I don't think its true.
Not that they predate the GW, but that their society was around prior to the GW's influence via Marika
Radagon is the answer as to why Marikas people, and the Nox (if they’re truly the same) were oppressed after the age of the erdtree began. He’s truly loyal to the greater will, unwaveringly. I believe he slowly began to take over Marika entirely. She knew this and sent the Tarnished and Godfrey away and set up for their return.
You guys know of testaclius ding ?
The Shamans share another historical fact with the people Israel. Messemer Netenyahu.
Elden ring porn music
Nothing in the game says that messmer is an empyrian. And I don't think that the greater will imprisoned Marika because not even metyr is in contact with the greater will. Everything in game about the greater will could very well a lie from the two fingers because like I said no one is in contact with it. It left immediately after sending metyr and the elden beast. I wonder if Marika knew that or not.. I think ranni knows it, but I can't really point out why, so this part is my pure headcanon.
Yes that was a bit of an assumption based off a source I read and the fact Messmer would almost certainly be a child of Marika/Radagon
It's important to consider that the greater will has not been guiding the fingers since Metyr arrived to the land ( lands between and shadow realm) so we can asume that Marika has been lying about that all along and perhaps she's guiding the fingers that remain, so the greater will is just a manufactured myth of the golden order, and also the elden beast is probably something that Marika created or something along those lines, considering the Astels and cretures that crash landed. Also I think is important to consider when both lands got separated
Idk the Three Fingers themselves talk about the greater will so if either definitely existed or you can subscribe to the theory Metyr interpreted the Big Bang of ER’s world as the greater will, I can for sure tell you Marika didn’t come up with that lie or manufacturer it herself though
No, you're getting it wrong Marika is the one who has been lied to
I've seen the Nox and Shaman as a Dark Elf/Light Elf split from the same root people who split between which gods to follow. The Shaman embraced the Greater Will, the Nox rejected it. As bad as the GW's vengeance was, the Nox are still around and the Shaman are extinct so I think the Nox made the right choice.
I love this!
Night and Day Gloam eyed queen / Marika
That was so cryptic sorry lol I kind of thought maybe Marika was the sole survivor from the shaman and then her gloam eyed queen death alter ego (a-la st trina) could then tie the shaman to numen/nox through the fingerslayer blade/death
@@xoxowena I understand. Given we know Marika can create a fully autonomous alter ego in the form of Radagon, the idea that the GEQ was Marika's murderous shadow self is possible We know Radagon opposed Marika, the GEQ could too. This also ties into Melina being a brainwashed former GEQ. If Marika ejected the GEQ, that would make her essentially her clone daughter via parthenogenesis. (Look that up on Wikipedia, it's fascinating) It is explicitly stated Malekith defeated the GEQ, not killed her, and there is a secret room that seems to Melina's prison as it has her blade and a dead government official who might have been a guard. Marika didn't kill Radagon and vice versa so it might be that they can't do so for some reason, so brainwashing Melina into a loyal daughter was a safer way to contain her.
Radagon was never an alter ego. Radagon was a champion decended from the giants who fused with marika to control the fell gods flame.
Fenrir grew to inmense proportions from a small cub. He was going to outgrow odin in strengh, that's why odin chained him cause he feared how strong fenrir would get.
There is so much going on in this game that its hard to keep track of it, Its filled to the brink whit western esoteric and mystical traditions. The "one great" is a neo-platonic concept of the higest the "good", it's a panteistic view of the world meaning that the one true god is shattered in to fragments consisting of the entire world and all the creatures in it. "the greater will" seems to be the "demiurge" beliving it's the true god, (if we belive the tre fingers are teling the truth), this is a gnostic view of the world. Marika being both the queen and the "red king" is an alchemical concept as is the holyness of gold. I dont belive that "the greater will" selected Marika to become a god at all that is the two fingers doing, and as we learn from Ymir the fingers dont have any contact whit the greater will and they are in fact missguided, perhapps they never had any contact whit the greater will at any time, They are based on a real world parasite living of tres after all. It would fit whit the teams of the Darksouls games where there is always a corrupt and false religion at the center.
These are all great points! I actually talked about the idea of the GW being the demiurge in a video a little while back!
Are the Numbers from the place now known as the Shadowlands, or did they settle there? Their description states they came from a different world. Maybe they came a different plane?
13:52 this sound starts in the background that I eventually queued on and I paused, it ends 14:47 but I thought a car horn was going off.
Radagon is clearly the soul of the lord Marika needed to become a god she used her abilities as a shaman to make her body the vessel. It blows my mind that so many people have over looked this after we found the scroll telling us how to become a god. Miquella took Mogues body and Radans soul to do this. Marika simply skipped these steps and did it all herself. I assume she learned this from a finger reader in the finger ruins. Probably because she fled when her village was attacked. Or she survived the Jar and was already fused with Radagon then. That much I have not decided on. But the rest of what I’ve said I’d bet anything on.
In fact I think the “Betrayal” is when Marika survives the jars, and reveals her ability to transform into Radagon. She was brought to the gates of divinity by the Hornsent to transform her into Their God, she instead sides with the greater will, and the rest is history. The entire destruction of the Hornsent goes beyond her revenge, it was to cover up the truth of her ace dance to godhood. And make her seem as the one true god of the lands between
Wait, what's this about her sacrificing her children?
It's heavily implied that the corpses in the wandering mausoleums are Marika's children that were possibly used as some sort of sacrifice. "Hear me, Demigods. My children beloved. Make of thyselves that which ye desire. Be it a Lord. Be it a God. But should ye fail to become aught at all, ye will be forsaken. Amounting only to sacrifices..." - Marika
Im wondering if they are connected to the nameless mausoleums (the ones with the blackgaol knight and dancer of ranah in them)
First
Awesome video. I definitely do think the Numen/Nox are the same. Maybe they became the Nox after they were banished underground? Regarding Ymir's questline, I found it to mean that the Greater Will is more than just an outer god. To me, in Elden Ring, the sorcery/primeval current/celestial objects represent fundamental aspects of the universe. So sorcery is like magical physics. So since Ymir uses intelligence based GW spells and Radagon included intelligence into Golden Order incantations , it shows that the GW is tied to the cosmos in a more fundamental way. Hence why Ymir abandoned the moon for the Greater Will, it's just a truer form of the cosmos. Or maybe the GW is just a bigger aspect of the One Great and the outer gods are just smaller fragments.
Pretty sure the Nameless Eternal City used to be the district of Leyndell that’s now a gaping hole
An interesting note about the wandering mausoleum. And the demigods within is that they were actually referred to as being misshapen in the disc version prior to the day 1 update that changed it to unwanted But given the certain physical defects of some of her other children. It's interesting to think that these children may have had such abominable defects that she instead use them for sacrifice or just outright killed them
I just went and got the Rune Mark of Death like 3 days ago and Ranni's body is small now
34:24 Scum MAge Infa did a video theorizing they were Numan Grandmothers. From old concept art he found, the giants had branches growing out of them. A diet of rune infused tree sap dose courses Gigantism as seen by Godfrey, crusible knights, Tree sentinels, and most other tall lieutenant knight tier enemies.
