Thank you for your video! I bought and installed this kit with the help of watching your clear instructions! 👍 Absolutely LOVE the sound my Competizione makes now along with the silicon elbow!
This video is so good, a proper tutorial, which has given me the confidence to carry out the installation myself. Thank you for sharing this video with us.
this is exactly the detail I needed to go give this a shot myself - looks perfectly do'able; looking forward to slapping this on my 595 Comp one weekend!
Hello, congratulations it's a really nice video. I'm Italian and for months I would like to buy that filter but here it is not very popular and finally there is a clear guide that explains step by step how to mount it. A really good choice of cars and components, I also have a TBF elbow. I hope you will make other videos like this. Thanks and greetings from Italy
Dude that was an amazing step by step, was looking forward to watching all your other videos and it turns out you've got none! Shocked, as that was so well done I'd have expected a channel full of them
Hey man, thanks for the great comment. I sold my Abarth and then normal life and work overtook stuff!! I think i have a fallback though if ever i need it though in the future.
@@autoabarth595 Ah that's a real shame, You've got the knack for TH-cam so try and get back to it even if it's part time big buck can be made with it lol. I'll subscribe just in case you ever do return it, even if it isn't with an Abarth haha
Great video! Noob questions: From were does it gets the air and were does it go? In the scattle, you fitted a steal pipe to suck air in? Can it get also rain water or washer fluid ? Hope you upload soon!
Hi. Glad you like the video! It takes the air from behind the top engine scuttle panel. The air intake pipe passes through this panel and sits underneath and at the back of the lower windscreen cover. It's far enough behind this cover to prevent water ingress. The air travels down through the filter and then into the intake system.
Hi I am looking for induction kit as well. About the Forge when is raining you don’t think that the straight pipe sucking air almost outside in that position water could come in as well?
Hello, no it doesn't suck water in as the open end of the pipe is shielded underneath the windscreen scuttle and sits between this and the engine bay scuttle.
hey Paul, greetings from Budapest, Hungary. Many thanks for this detailed video, I loved to watch it, mcuh appreciated! Now I am sure I will buy this - any experience on performance? lower or upper level? I also have a BMC pop-off valve which makes that swooosh sound and a Magnetti Marelli Bombardone 2.0, but combing with this FORGE induction kit I think the sound combination will be mind-blowing :)))
Thanks Edward! Performance is up about 7bhp, I will show the dyno gains in the next video which is coming very soon, this will be a full review of the car and the performance. I also have a Bombardone fitted !!
Top vid, subbed, looking at doing mine, any idea if the inner scuttle panel that needs cutting is the same on all 500's? just looking at picking one up to cut rather than butchering theone mine came with.... cheers!
@@peterowbottom1110 yes definitely, once you get used to the induction noise. The car needs no more power now. It's perfect now in my opinion at about 210 bhp. I'll be posting a vid soon with a full review of the car.
Excellent video. I’ve been considering which induction kit to get for my Abarth 500 and for the Forge kit is definitely the most appealing. Was worried about the install, but your guide makes it look pretty simple! 👍 great work. How have you found the running a few month from install? And would you recommend the forge turbo hose as well? Cheers
Thanks man, the car runs brilliantly with it on. No issues at all. I think the gains are most noticeable at higher speeds, high speed acceleration is so much more punchy. You should deffo bin the stock plastic turbo pipe it's far too restrictive at that thin elbow angle.
@Orcasauruss, Why are you asking this idiot? Its assumed an Italian fitted a screw into the cowl at the factory. The car was assembled in Poland. If its had the car from new, then a polish person put that screw in place not an italian or if the vehicles used, then depending on how many owned it previously, one of those owners or a garage they used! The person uplaoding this video is an idiot.
Don't do this if you daily drive your car - the squeel coming through that pipe is aimed directly at you and it's not pleasant at all. It's a constant turbo whine. AIRTEC makes an injection kit for the Abarth that doesn't require cutting a hole in the plastics, it's much more pleasant to the ears and does the same job.
What an amazing step-by-step video. Exactly what I needed to give me the confidence to fit the forge induction kit myself. Champion mate 💪👌
No worries mate glad it helps you!

Thanks! About 9 bhp.
Are you using torx to remove the inner bulkhead scuttle?

Fyi fella there isnt suppose to be 3 clips in the panel. That middle screw is on all fiat 500 model cars
Hello, how is cleaning done? I put the same kit on my 595
is there any risk using the car on heavy rain? i mean if water could get through the vents below the windshield? only heavy rain

Is it possible to have this intake in combination with a bmc blow off? This means that there is no more hose between the blow off and the intake
Yeah i think you can.
What are the benefits after installing that admission? What did you win? Hp? nM?
Well i gained around 6-7 bhp. Coupled with an unrestricted exhaust i went from 200bhp to 210 bhp. Much more noticeable gains at the top end.
The rarest thing of all time the 10mm and 13mm
I was wondering if the Forge induction kit is compatible with all year Abarth 500?
I think the kit i fitted is for 2016 onwards.

I think from Ebay, it was a long time ago though!

I suggest that the mechanic remove the watch and jewelery before work. Unless he has money to advertise these items.
