Great video Bryan. You're performing a great service to the abarth/Fiat community. Can't wait to see videos on a turbo replacement or clutch, flywheel, trans replacement someday.
I always have your videos playing on the garage TV when doing upgrades to my 500 Abarth. Between you and maybe 2 other content providers, the community is covered! Thanks again for all of the great stuff Brian!!! (I finally ordered an NGEN shirt)
I would recommend having a vibrant resonator installed on the midpipe if the exhaust is too loud. That way you keep the increase in exhaust flow but reduce the noise.
NGEN Customs and Performance good point. I installed a 12” bottle which brought the tone back to stock, except with the rancid fumes. I figured stock was a bit more healthy and cops didn’t hassle me as much haha.
@@SCUUUUD Exactly! The SLIGHT increase in power isn't worth the noise and hassle - especially when you can get a Performance exhaust from 500Madness that doesn't have all the faults you mentioned.
Great video! Do not forget to write in the description, that it is also usable to Punto Evo 1,4 Multiair turbo, and Abart Punto Evo 1,4 Multiair turbo too! :) Because it has the same engine :) (955A2.000 eng code)
Hey does this car have any other mods to it during this video for example exhaust or tune? Just wondering if this is how it will sound from stock to down pipe
Depends on the car - some people never get a cel, others do. However, with the Euro+Drive flash tune, you can have the catalyst code eliminated so you won’t get the light.
I have the dart rallye 1.4 turbo. Will that make me throw a code or does the plug extension really work. I have the madness ecu which made a sick difference.
Question! How come this down pipe wouldn’t fit right in the 124 spider ? Even though it works on all the other 1.4L turbos ? I really want to install a down pipe on my abarth 124
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance do you have any idea where I can find the factory post cat exhaust gasket? I’m gutting my cat and absolutely cannot seem to find one
We do not have dyno numbers for before and after. This was filmed as a “How to install” video. I would recommend contacting ATP Turbo directly if you require additional information about the product. Thanks for watching!
I didn’t lose a gasket. There is the one that goes between the turbo and the downpipe (up top), the v band clamp (secures the downpipe to the turbo, and the gasket that goes between the downpipe and midpipe (down below). What other gasket are you referring to?
I must be the stupidest person alive because that 10mm nut holding the intercooler bracket on has me stuck. My arms are too big to go from the top down, and too big to go from the battery side over. The intercooler pipes are in the way from the bottom.
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance I actually ended up going to a buddies with a garage and proper tools. One of the flange nuts rounded off and the nut on the v band started spinning too. Eventually got it though lol

ATP stopped making it due to EPA crackdown. However, we do offer the Eurocompulsion High Flow Catted Downpipe. However, they are currently on back order right now.
Finally I found someone who works on Abarths
Great video Bryan. You're performing a great service to the abarth/Fiat community. Can't wait to see videos on a turbo replacement or clutch, flywheel, trans replacement someday.
Turbo replacement is easy... once you remove the entire front end
Finally a good install video!
Thanks for the kind words!
You have the best videos I’ve seen for abarth installs
Thank you very much! Means a lot!

This mod was so effing loud. I had to remove it after a few weeks. Trying to sell the sucker now. Great video!

This was a good install video. Wish they were all like this.
How are you suppose to get that nut down the bottom that you mentioned 'if you have the stock intercooler'
Does this work for the Fiat500L
Yes it does!
man i wish you would do a series on the jeep renegade
What kind of scissor jack lifts are you using ? I need those!
Very well explained thank you!!
Why did you do this extensive work - what is the gain?
Thanks Bryan!
Woooooooow :) keep going :) Excelent video, I really like it

What about the Fiat500L???
How many hours would you average for this install?
Great video as always. Question
Is this safe to do without disconnecting the ECU? One of my clips are broken
I’m running an EC tune if that matters.
You should be fine
Hey does this car have any other mods to it during this video for example exhaust or tune? Just wondering if this is how it will sound from stock to down pipe
It has the neu-f race exhaust but it will sound similar
Hi Brian I followed the instructions in your video everything is on the site but my engine light is on 🥲 how I can fix that? thank you
If you are not running a tune with a revision that deletes the PO420 code, you will have a CEL.
Are there any issues with codes from the O2 sensor? Do I need a spacer for the sensor on the midpipe?
Depends on the car - some people never get a cel, others do. However, with the Euro+Drive flash tune, you can have the catalyst code eliminated so you won’t get the light.
NGEN Customs and Performance thank you. My 2015 Abarth is coming along nicely
I have the dart rallye 1.4 turbo. Will that make me throw a code or does the plug extension really work. I have the madness ecu which made a sick difference.
Looks like this will work for the Jeep 1.4 Turbo Renegade, or no?
Yes it should work for the Jeep 1.4 renegade
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance Thanks
What size studs were you using to secure this to the mounting bracket?
Do you think this will fit a punto same engine.. not sure on the turbo or not cheers
I do not know for sure as we do not have the punto here.
Can those studs be sold separately?
The studs are fairly generic and can be purchased at any auto parts store
Great Video! By any chance does the downpipe throw codes since theres no cat?
Without a tune, you will get a check engine light
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance what about if you used an o2 spacer/spark plug non fouler on the secondary o2 sensor??
What kind of HP & TQ gains can I expect from this install?
It really depends on what modifications you have. Tough to say without putting your car on a dyno
@@NGENCustomsandPerformance
Let me be more specific, on a completely stock vehicle on average what kind of performance gains can a buyer expect?

Is there no gasket on the stock down pipe where it connects to the exhaust from factory?
Yes there is a gasket that connects the factory Downpipe to the midpipe. There is also a gasket that goes between the turbo and Downpipe

will this decat fit onto standard exhaust ?
Lee Smithson yes!
Will this work on a 2012 fiat 500 sport non turbo
No this is for turbo models.
Does this downpipe fit on 2019 595 Turismo T-Jet? I have the Garret Turbo.
I do not know - sorry.
Am refere to the first gasket, on the top

Any P codes from the O2 sensor
Without a proper tune, you will get a po420 code
Good work
Where r u located,
Luther Rodgers Spring, Texas. Just north of Houston
What you do with the check engine light on that you will have after installing this catless downpipe? O2 sensor spacer? Or ?
If you have Euro+Drive, the cat code can be deleted so the check engine light will not come on
NGEN Customs and Performance cool thanks the help!!
Hei man, you lo ose the basket of first joint

Take the front bumper off, remove the headlights and then loosen the front core support (see my turbo video for details). This will give you more room
