Another fine BDR video. The story about the little boy in Afghanistan with the burned hands was both uplifting and heartbreaking. You certainly did make a positive difference to him and his family🫡
Thanks for taking us on another great BDR Adventure with you!! I love that you show nearly the whole route including the more difficult sections of the main route that so many others leave out. I am looking to complete more BDRs on my electric ADV bike. AZBDR and IDBDR completed last year. NCABDR, UTBDR, COBDR and NMBDR are on the list next.
I’ve rode the Oregon BDR this past Summer. In my opinion sections 1,2 and 7 were the most technical. I’m considering doing CA North next year. Which BDR do you consider being more technical? By the way, great videos. Appreciate you showing it all. As they say, the good, bad, and the ugly.
@rnt-gutierrezgutierrez580 Oregon is significantly more difficult if you're looking at the regular route. The expert sections on Norcal are apparently harder but I didn't do those. Sections 1 and 2 on oregon are harder than anything on Norcal.
Thanks for another excellent ride-along. I'm in Paradise, CA so the 3 or 4 northern sections are of most interest to me and you've shown what to expect. Looks like you're wearing the AS Linesman kit. What do you think of it for these kinds of tracks? I know you have worn the Mongolia kit on other BDRs.
I like the AS gear. I've been wearing it partially or in full since basically 2019. Not as much of a fan of how tight the Linesman pant fits, but to each their own.
@@MeerkatADV It looks like well thought-out gear and not trying to do too much. So the Linesman pants are for an Adonis, not those of us who prefer a more relaxed fit? LOL No doubt you've seen the new Gravel kit? Also looks purpose-made.

@osimnod it's a very European cut. I started using the mosko moto integrated armor pants since about August and like the fit/comfort more.
