I'm proud to introduce this reasonably-priced new surfcasting rod built entirely to my specifications. It's based on the 9-foot 2-inch rod that I customized in the mid 90's and used since then for most of my ocean beach and sound fishing. From 3/4-ounce bucktails, to the 3.5-ounce spook plug in this video, to live eels, this is a very versatile, lightweight, and powerful rod. The rod is paired with the new Penn Battle III DX reel that has significant upgrades over the current Battle III.
