Sweet just getting one put in should be here in six weeks just doing some research the guy does not hav a Dino I live in grand junction co no one has one around here hope I can still
Did same with mine I commute from Woodside mountains to SF so mostly highway and I wanted the performance in the area I need for passing and getting out of someone's way.
@@taps_1021 Planning on it. Need to learn how to do a video properly- I am a rare combo of stupid and ugly so might need someone else to do the video :)
What size Throtle body and injectors did you use.?. We could have gotten more out of the engine but I wanted to play it safe because of my elevation 2700 feet and heat (103) yesterday and 91 pump gas.
Honestly the fm 107 outlaw is just as capable build. .the weak link is the stock crank. Now as for the t124 I only have 8k so far so it's still early to tell how it's gonna hold up. But it is a fun running engine so far .
Do you run the stock 6 speed with a better clutch and chain drive? I have a stock 103 with cams, want to do the same motor but don’t know what to do as far as transmission
I am running a stock trans and clucth . But i do have a aim varible speed on my clucth. I currently have 60k + miles. No trans or clucth issues. Just dont beat on the trans and it will last
Beautiful bike! That 130/130 is my ideal target. My buddy tuned his to the point of being really fast and just as quick to overheat.
Good information...i plan on building my 124 next year...
Are you using the easy start cams?
Yes and 640 cams
Super happy with the same in my bagger build!
You gotta post it
Isn't funny when people say they weren't looking fir big numbers and power but than changed the stock engine to a 124 cubic S&S 🤣🤣🤣
Well . To me big numbers are 200 to 400 hp in a vtwin 🤣
Is yours a stock high compression 124 w the 640 cams or have you done some upgrades already?
It was a hc . 10.8 but we raised it to 12.1 and it runs on e85
When it made the 135hp, was that with those mods?
@Rider_2013_ no. It's 150 now . But my throttle body is the choking point. With a bigger tb and abit more compression we could have made 160 with e85
What did you try for fuel at 12.1 just e85?
@keithdrum1715 in winter I run 91 pump. E85 in the summer
How many miles to a tank are you getting?
Mine is literally in the shop right now getting this motor, I'm beyond anxious to get it back!
I get 33mpg at 90 mph. It's really hard because I am an agreessive rider

Find a reputable dyno tuner it's critical 🤷♀️

Right on.👍 share your bike . I would like to see a vid

Did you have to change the clutch pack also, what size throttle body you running.
No I am running a stock clutch and basket with an aim lock up. Tb is a screaming eagle 58mm
Cheers bud.
@@rsv4rider I will be posting soon what changes I have made to the t124
I installed the same motor about about year ago. Recently changed my Fatcat to the Boarzilla. Numbers were pretty close to what you got. 142/138

I went with the SE 58mm throttle body.
I used a se 58mm also. My tuner told me before go 6.2. But I was afraid I might get pinging when temps go up with pump gas .
I'd love to hear a sound clip of your motor at idle
@@mboydatlanta1 it does sound different once I got it dyno tuned vs a base map.🤷♀️. All posted a sound clip later today.
What made you swap vs building?
The price. Only 1 thousand dollar difference and no wait time
What tuner did you use? I'm using the TTS
We used powervision.
Now that you've ridden it a while what do you think? Glad you did it?
That's my dream motor.

Thanks man 🙏
