Lexus number#1 reliable car brand. No idea where these alleged problems originated. Probably a handful of dumb customers who either failed to maintain the car properly or drove it like an idiot.
I have a 2011 1st generation model. 250 k kilometres here is what went wrong. The left rear wheel bearing, 12 volt battery and a couple of light bulbs. That is it. So far a great car obviously. I’d buy another one in a second.
@@teekayy9879 No they never really fixed it. But this issue is not a common where I live, I only see this issue from US user. Either they don't maintain their cars well or something with weather/fuel or whatever causes it.
Hi, I am thinking of buying a LEXUS CT 1.8 200H ADVANCE 5d 134 BHP that I test-drived today in Gwent, UK. I am not sure about its Battery. It is on 67177 millage already. Do you think the battery would be reliable? It is gonna be my first car. Any tips to discuss it with the dealer about the battery and other features of the car for peace of mind? Thanks!
Have a 2013 with 280k. Never changed the timing chain or head gasket, or battery. Doesn’t burn a drop of oil. Still averages about 43.5 mpg. Great car.
Been looking for a while at buying one but not fully convinced yet by it. At the minute I drive a mini which is full of issues and would want that next car don’t give the same hassle
as compared to any other vehicle brand, toyotas are most reliable ones. i personally have this car and it is pretty reliable car just like a Toyota Prius because engine is same with better Lexus interior in this car. check for car condition before buying a used one with lower miles on it.

@@sandrokakhetelidze5729 looking forward to hearing more, I have already wasted 300$ going to stupid mechanics one took the heat shield off , and one said they found a socket from a socket wrench on top of my heat shield and charged me 250 to remove it bec they took 2 hours trying to find the problem which I call bullshit on

170k miles on mine. Only issue has been head gasket. Which is common on the years 2013 and below. Great vehicles.
How you found out that you have a problem with head gasket?
So after 2013 did they fix head gasket and EGR problem ?

Batteries will be at 97% in like 10 years. Basically the last part of the car you need to worry about.

My 2012 drank oil like crazy
Rattling enginge for me... Changed clutch disc twice, but same problem.
Same I'm hoping it's the transmission fluid
@@omnipresentgf I’m planning to change transmission oil as well. I’ll let you know in this reply if there will be any progress.
