I use a totally destroyed-tape-covered cable to charge it without problems, i've used it while showering, I've overcharged plenty of times, it still works without a problem. One year update: I now have an iphone 5s and charge it with a cable that's missing about half an inch of the outer rubber in the end of the connector, so you can see all the tiny wires inside. I've put it a couple of times in freezer for a minute when it felt uncomfortably hot and even dropped it face down many times without shattering it, and last I never turn it off unless it dies on me every once in a while. So conclusion, this video is pointless.

Eddie Hernandez I made it myself. You can do it with a cheap case. Simply cut it in half (leave only the bottom section that can hold the phone), put a piece of velcro (sold at hardware stores) in the case, another piece in the wall...and boom, you have a new phone holder.

Actually, overcharging is impossible on the 6s onwards, as when the battery is charged enough the lightning cable (use the official one) goes to “trickle charge” which keeps it on 100 but doesn’t overcharge
2:31 is horrible for me. That means 0 degrees celsius is the coldest temperature I can use my phone at yet from October to March or April, the temperature is way below that. I even get temperatures from -27 degrees celsius to -38 degrees celsius! I'm in Canada btw. Go search what those temperatures are in fahrenheit for you Americans so you understand how cold that is!

If your phone breaks often, use the brand OtterBox for cases for all of your devices. I don't think they sell cases for iPods, but they for sure have them for every type of phone besides 4, and for iPads. They are a little expensive but they are cheaper than having your iPhone screen fixed over and over again. I have dropped my phone SOOOOO many times but OtterBox helps my phone stay alive. If you ask anyone with and OtterBox case, they will definitely say their phone/iPad has never broken when they drop it. Hope this helped a few people out! 😃

I have the iPhone 4s and I rarely complete shut down my phone, I always charge it over the hole night. my phone got dropped in water 3 times. my cable looks terrible. and even when the temperature drops below freezing I have my phone with me. and still phone is running for 6 years now without repairs.

Actually, overcharging is impossible on the 6s onwards, as when the battery is charged enough the lightning cable (use the official one) goes to “trickle charge” which keeps it on 100 but doesn’t overcharge
2:31 is horrible for me. That means 0 degrees celsius is the coldest temperature I can use my phone at yet from October to March or April, the temperature is way below that. I even get temperatures from -27 degrees celsius to -38 degrees celsius! I'm in Canada btw. Go search what those temperatures are in fahrenheit for you Americans so you understand how cold that is!
Or just multiply it by 3. I'm in Florida, which is really hot, and we can go over both of those :C it's just a general guideline though, it wouldn't hurt it too too much if you did it occasionally.

If your phone breaks often, use the brand OtterBox for cases for all of your devices. I don't think they sell cases for iPods, but they for sure have them for every type of phone besides 4, and for iPads. They are a little expensive but they are cheaper than having your iPhone screen fixed over and over again. I have dropped my phone SOOOOO many times but OtterBox helps my phone stay alive. If you ask anyone with and OtterBox case, they will definitely say their phone/iPad has never broken when they drop it. Hope this helped a few people out! 😃

Hi, we just had 3 phones die In the same day. I suspect it was a bad charger. When your iPhone 5 died were they able to recover any data? These devices were not recently backed up.
