Heads up, powerful attraction and reaper won't work with Ascension. Utility kickstart will work but then you'd wanna take off the void surge. Really wish Bungie would give it the Ensnaring Slam treatment and let it function as a class ability, don't know why they think Ascension of all things needs to be reigned in.
Something tells me they'll add the interaction but then also slap Ascension with nerfs similar to the Threaded Specter and do things like increasing the class CD.
Because when ascension first came out it did count as a class ability - when using radiant dance machines (unlimited dodges when near enemies) you could spam ascension flying around the map like an arc attack helicopter printing orbs. Athewhen paired with reaper / powerful attraction would pick up those orbs and was kind of silly op.

Its just that Ascension really isn't anything special to begin with and not working with those mods really hurts buildcrafting and kinda makes Ascension feel like noob bait

The point is that we already went through this exact same process with another aspect, what is so good about Ascension that we need to go through it again.
Since I use Lost Signal with Choir of One all the time, I’m personally gonna use Galanor Synthocepts with Silkstrike and Threaded Spike with 3 Hands On. It’s very ammo efficient since abilities is the primary ad clear method. Really looking forward to testing the buff in GMs and Onslaught

I unlocked class items because of Ava. First drop from her was HOIL/wormhusk (I'm a big fan of that roll). Second drop from her was liars/caliban. 3rd was a copy of first drop, crazy. 4th was foetracer/gyrfalcons. Engram drops are frustrating but I think im just lucky on the draws.
Pair it with a Withering or Clown Cart + Explosive Light Acosmic to pair synergy, synergize Attrition Orbs and Explosive Light, and grant both Volatile Rounds with different fragments.
You only need 50 mobility because when you Ascension you get amplified and it gives you 50 more mobility, and the cooldown of amplified is the same as your class ability when you're amplified because you have 100 mobility, so you can be amplified always.
i've been hunting for Galanor/Gyrfalcons since the beginning of FOTL precisely to pair with Fighting Lion... I still haven't gotten it :c Personally I enjoy running it with Rake Angle for both the shield utility and anti-champ capabilities with the slow and freeze from chill clip. On top of that it gives you another easy way to start the stylish executioner loop without using abilities.
They mentioned that golden gun is going to receive the regen buff so could you not run goldie with star eaters and something like inmost light on the class item. Could have insane ability up time in the neutral game and still have a chunky dammage super that comes back super fast. Im thinking star eaters and foe tracer could work well in the final boss of the dungeon to get maybe like 3 supers off depending on how the regen works
So after focusing a few warlock class items and thinking about it I think getaway artist is just too good to not use for warlock and I also use the solar buddy when using class ability so I constantly have arc soil and solar buddy together and it’s simply a cheat code
You either use getaway or star eaters/X for prism lock tbh. I also use Bad Juju and you get super nukes every encounter in GMs on top off a lot of ad clear from trans.
@dericliu2448 yeah, but it works with galanor like it's Orpheu's. I was just wondering if a non roaming super version would be as potent. I use it with a mid roll ( galanor + cyrtaracne) and it performs quite well imo.
@ if you run combo blow gamblers with stacked distribution mods on ur class item u can probably get the same effect without using ur exotic slot, and recharge super with the combo blow dodge loop. I use that and you can prob run that with a fast recharging grenade and gp gamble for the woven mail and void os. Distribution mods are lowkey crazy.
If you really want to build into roaming supers then you should put on facet of Justice. Popping Transcendence before you go into your super will cause all kills to explode.
I just wish they would remove the 50% limit on super refund exotics in PvE. Was a stupid change to begin with and it's been super buggy as even hitting enemies with the Galanor perk sometimes just never gives me back super energy.
I found Transcendence to be the main issue. I've tried Spirit of Galanor with all the supers both with and without going Transcendent and it seemed like not going Transcendent and using it would reliably give me super back. But it's not like it's never given super energy back while being Transcendent either so it could be that popping Super before or after Transcendence might play a part too. But even with how inconsistent Raijus is on Arc and not Prismatic? It wouldn't surprise me if there really is some other issue going on with it.
Supers should not refund more than 50% on their own, it would make galanor, orpheus and Ahamkara Skull more OP than they already are. These exotics are already inches away from being the best exotics in the game.
I tried this, it's actually anti-synergy because with Galanor you're trying to get your super back ASAP and then as soon as you get it, use it, so it's a bit annoying having to then search for 6 orbs after you charge your super, so I wouldn't recommend Star Eater tbh
@@LlamaD2 maybe a play is using an exotic primary to charge your super, then when full, switch to your attrition orbs vs velocity baton to quickly get orbs. Besides, you don't have to get full star-eaters charged up, if you dont want to.
No, because it's spirit of Synthos and it gives only a portion of the original exotic buff - only melee. It doesn't even works on Titan as far as I'm aware. It's a balancing act to make exotic class item perks stand out
Man.... I used fighting lion a long time ago when it made sense and killed all red bars like a grenade should. Haven't touched it since Bungie "fixed" (super nerf) it.
this build would be great if there was a good answer to the unstoppable/barrier champion combination that is in the majority of master/gm content. Bungie really failed with the answers in this seasons artifact

Volitile rounds and fighting lion have been super fun been playing with different builds around it for about a month now.
Already been running a similar build to this with velocity baton with demo attrition orbs. Absolutely nasty combo once you put in some void surges!
I would suggest a void loader on your gauntlets. It really makes fighting lion feel snappy.
