More respect for you both, Aamna and Hasan! And how well you analysed the current situation. How logically you spoke! And it's really sad that there is so much conflict, so much politicisation of things in every field, be it art or culture. I do feel sad at times.... But, more power to you both and much respect to you both.....from the bottom of my heart.

It's such a sad and unfortunate situation we are into. Many Indians have loved Pakistani serials since the mid 80's till now, and vice' versa, and we can't visit or meet our friends on either side of the border. I think this is one of the most beautiful episodes of SH ever. But all said and done, please don't review BW, we watch Pakistani serials very seriously and like the reviews and sharing our thoughts on them. There's already an over overdose of BW here on every possible media, and we can do without it.
I just wish that some day I might get a chance to visit Pakistan and meet my friends there.
We are celebrating Makar Sankranti here today, as the Sun enters the line of Capricorn. Best wishes to the team SH..

Their movies are not even in our cinemas now. We should use this chance to promote our own content. Being an Indian, I was one of those who requested you to review Bollywood content. The answers you gave were sort of expected, so I'm not surprised.
However I do wish we all find a middle ground, because despite the political scenario, I enjoy so many Pakistani dramas and movies (Cake, Motorcycle girl, Khuda Kay liye and Bol stole my heart, and I'd love to see Parwaz hai junoon but can't find it here).
I hope at least you will watch the stuff that is coming out of bollywood these days because some movies really are path breaking and a majority do not even have propaganda, like Andhadhun, Badhai Ho, Lipstick under my Burkha.
On a side note, I have a feeling you'll enjoy watching War Aamna- I didn't see any propaganda in it, just pure action and Hrithik flexing his muscles and looking great.
PS- I'm an Indian Hindu. Although this is internet and you'd just have to take my word for it. My political opinions are different from art. Religion is not something I ever mention while talking about myself, but I hope you'd know that there are people out there who support you despite their personal and political beliefs and being nationalistic does not mean I have to align myself with a certain party. Case in point, I love Ehd-E-Wafa, and that in no way makes me less of a patriot!

I am an Indian. I started watching Pakistani dramas after watching Zindagi Gulzar hai on Netflix, then humsafar...then I searched for all dramas of fawad and Mahira....then I got addicted! I hear lot of people say, Bollywood is banned there, I should not watch Pakistani dramas. I don't think we should get into all these politics. You two are too sweet and humble and keep watching Bollywood. And yes review them too. We relate to each other, our cultures are alike, our language is similar. Creativity doesn't deserve hatred...whatsoever!

Your thoughts on reviewing Indian content is deeply appreciated. We perfectly understand if you are not able to do so. Just to let you know that we in India follow important developments in Pakistan entertainment industry, your programme is very interesting and informative in this regard. We hope Netflix and other platforms will carry latest Pakistani content for all to enjoy and admire in future.
Amna, Chhapaak is a very positive film and focuses on all aspects : personal, social and legal and determination of the survivor to overcome with her sheer spirit. Surkh Chandni was not aired in India on You Tube but your review did indicate that it lost focus from main issue. Something similar is happening in Ruswai.
    Apologise for the long post.

If art has no boundaries than why no pakistani draams or movies were ever aired on india even while back when indian movies were openly showed in pak..And then why indian artist talked against Pakistan on their social media when the two countries were on tbe verge of war last year..They couldve instead remain silent or advocated peace but they choose to show their nationalism and talked against pak

I absolutely agree with Amna. If all 3 Khan stand up together for the rights of Indian Muslims only forget Pakistan, iam sure that can make a hysteria. I am also a huge fan of Srk, but now everything seems very disappointing. The Khans have extreme fan following and love across the world but they never ever stood up from the rights of even the Muslims living there. This is way too much. And very unfair also. This shows they love their lifestyle and fame only. And I definitely believe they all can go to any level to please Modi and "Hindus" in general.

When i first saw the title of this video i didnt know what to expect but you two did not disappoint! You guys relayed the sentiment of majority of Pakistanis very well. I was also a huge bollywood buff, but ever since bollywood became highly politicised and we were repeatedly dissapointed by the celebs we loved watching dil se sab utar gaey. I fully agree with the point where hollywood actors do not hesitate to speak up against their government yet these indian celebrities have mainly supported the modi government. There's a saying that those who do not speak in the face of injustice, side with the oppressor. This is what our "beloved Khan's" have done. One thing i will disagree on however, is that even if down the road bollywood movies start airing in Pakistani cinemas etc etc, it will not be the same and i hope that people won't forget the comments that these celebrities have made and how much they have supported the oppression of indian muslims. They have thrown out our celebrities like trash so I dont think i can ever support bollywood ever again in good conscience. Like many other fellow Pakistanis in the comment section, I completely unfollowed these celebrities which i once loved and haven't supported any of their content since. So to answer your question, I would not like you to review any bollywood content. Oh and majority of these bollywood films are usually about Pakistanis being terrorist so no thanks.

Pakistani films over the past few years seem to be rooted more in the genre of Pakistani dramas and reflect the same status as the dramas. During the era of PTV dramas, the thrust was more towards achieving a higher common denominator. As the number of Chanels proliferated, the influx of various production studios created a more competitive environment where the viability depended on commercial success. The thrust was towards popularity and the higher standards of the past were compromised.
Similarly the films too are commercialized to appeal to a popular audience. The product is more Bollywood lite and not the higher denominator like the Iranian films.

India attacked Pakistan last year, killing muslims in Kashmir, raping women, their actors, cricketers openly speak against Pakistan, Insaan ka bacha ban, why the hell we have these Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiqs, can't understand?
