I also think mahjabeen wasn't able to tell abdullah because she felt he was her safe haven he would protect her. But after she sees abdullah being abused and insulted by sarwar and abdullah completely acceding to him and not protesting, the expression on yumna's face is priceless. She is in disbelief and it's like all her hopes are crushed that he didn't stand up for himself so how would he stand up for her

Thora Sa Haq: I was so disgusted by the way Zamin reacted to the news of Hareem's pregnancy. Why was he surprised (in a bad way)? They were intimate, weren't they? There was literally not even a glimmer of a smile on his face. Does he not value anything in life except his romance with Seher?
Why did he immediately look at Seher instead of being happy for Hareem and about him becoming a father? It's clear he has never and will never see Hareem as his wife. Like he was just using her for physical needs and never wanted her to conceive as it would impede his romance with Seher. Who is he then to complain about Hareem telling him to not allow Seher to become a mother?
Or maybe it's not his reaction I'm so disgusted by but rather the fact that he is still being portrayed as a positive character. He is the biggest loser of a protagonist I'm yet to see.
The fact that Mahjabeen is totally clueless about pregnency highlights the importance of teaching your children about physical relations.Instead of making it Taboo, I think "the talk" is VERY important, especially during teenage warna in this era, finding about it through internet is very easy but the way parents can explain it is the best.

I agree with Amna over the direction / production of dramas considering the sets and houses they choose for shooting and depicting a family belonging to a particular social class. This irritates alot since lower class families have huge houses, with big courtyards and gardens.
I watched whole interview of Rubina ashraf,,, direct attack on something haute.... After that I read some comments, all people were with u guys like me... So just keep criticizing bad things so that they will know difference b/w good and bad script ( she was constantly appreciating writer ) .....we love something haute

Yea, the work thing isn't about being progressive. Young adults who still look at the world with mild naivety usually want their parents to chill out later in life, and enjoy their retirement. They often make the mistake of believing this means giving up work entirely. I was the same around that age, despite my parents repeatedly telling me not working will have a negative impact on them mentally and physically. I think it takes experience to truly understand how important continuing to work, in some capacity, is for your well-being.

Just a thought I wanted to share. Why so many dramas show one man keeping two wives simultaneously? In Islam polygamy is allowed but with extremely strict conditions of equality, which is not possible by ordinary men. These dramas show one wife being the favourite, sending a very wrong message, just exploiting religion. We justify two wives as being allowed in Islam but do not talk about the reasons and conditions for it according to Islam. It seems dramas are trying to normalise this practice. A wrong message is given to society in 30 odd episodes and the redemption comes only in one last episode which is not so convincing in reality.
Furthermore why aren’t marriages between 50 or 60 year olds shown in serious dramas? Such situations are only shown in comedy dramas. What is so comical about getting married at a later age, when it is completely allowed in Islam without any ifs and buts, or any conditions.

Moreover if he had brought Aina to Darya Bagh for the first time after telling her the truth, she would have been more disturbed than she is. Right now she at least has a rough image of the place in her mind that she can leave the four walls of the cottage and explore.
Amaan wants her to figure it out herself. She would think it a apart of Amaan's conspiracy if he tries to help her recollect. Also she would trust boa ji and her khala more than her husband whom she would think of having some sort of vendetta against her father.

Hassan I totally agree with you. If they can’t use words like rape when you are making a drama on social issue of gang rape please don’t make dramas on such topics.
Initially they have portrayed it as a rape survivor story to just get the ratings otherwise merely three to four episodes focus on this subject. It was more of a vatta satta story and Rubina Ashraf daughter was given the limelight. Production house just use the topic of rape survivor and Sana Javed pic to make it more popular among masses.

I agree Ahad and Sajal do look exceptionally beautiful in this Daryabagh track. Also i did shudder a bit during this episode, gave me horror film feels. And little nuances by Ahad like the way he shudders just by thinking of the accident, chaar chand laga diyay us scene ko.👌🏻

But now hareem, rafay, munazza, and most importantly, zamim and sahar's roles have been so badly executed that I can't even fake sympathize with sahar. The kind of indecisive, confused and coward guy Zamin is, Allah kisi larki ko na de aesa shohar. Sick! Also it was a bizarre to see her go and meet rafay all alone instead of telling her husband what she came to know.. The remaining story and absurdness is very predictable now. So iseless to waste time even for guilty pleasure (as Hassan says). 😒

If father in law touches his daughter in law in bad intentions, it nullifies the nikah of son and the daughter in law. But in this drama maybe it's justified because sarwar is not her actual susar
Tbh yeh Dil Mera ke last two episodes story wise bohat disappointing thay bcz last week ka pura episode derya bagh jaane me laga diya aur is week mebhi kuch khass nhi y don't amaan simply showed the pics of nikkah nama aur jab anna pochti hy yeh kiska ghaar hy wo bhi nhi batata I think they are dragging it unnecessarily
One thing I found odd about this episode of pks was the reaction of mahjabeen's mother. She did not seem to be actually bothered about sarwar touching her. She took it so lightly.

I have some thoughts on this though:
Ajeeb baat hai waisay that her husband did not accompany her especially if sherlock khala has some idea that her brother-in-law might be behind the killing of her sister. Does she or her husband not realise the danger of mir farooq that if he is capable of killing his Own wife then he would not hesitate to harm them at all!
i think her husband is sick of her already, he just wants her to leave after she read story from those white pages.... his calmness on such a serious matter makes me think that he really wants his wife to leave ASAP 😂😂😂😂😂😂

My guess is that at that point (post wedding honeymoon period) Aman wanted to keep her in the dark - hence the locked rooms, lies etc. But since then things have changed, and Anna has found out the truth about Aman and now he is on the quest to convince her and revive her memories. Now the question is that if he wanted to keep her in the dark back then- why did he take her to Daryabagh for their honeymoon to begin with? There could be two reasons for that. 1-Either he (being pretty messed in the head) wanted to spook out Anna and disturb her mentally as part of his revenge plan (which is pretty cruel but they've shown him capable of such cruelty now and then). Or 2- he just wanted to gauge what her memories are without giving away the whole secret and his true identity. So he just played those mind games with her (which is also pretty cruel). But the love and revenge and cruelty is all mixed up in Aman's head the way I see his character
I think, previously Amaan tried to supress Aina's memories because until then she didn't know that Aman's parents were murdered by her father. Now that she knows about it and is trying to prove her father's innocence, all the flashbacks and her memories will help her to interrelate the events (her childhood events), her dream about a woman getting shot near the train station and then all these things will help her understand Aman's stance. This way she'll be able to conclude the truth herself. That's what I think because she first needed to know Aman's truth. May be Aman took her to Darya bagh on their honeymoon because he himself wanted to be sure if she still remembers the major events of her childhood or not.

I think Aman wanted to take Anna again to Darya bagh when he had exposed his True intensions to Mir Farooq and only then did he want her to remember everything. First time he only took her to make her realize there was something fishy about the place.

There I noticed she retweeted something Sadaf Haider ( a drama critic ) wrote about her role getting cut short due to Wardah track. So RA likley saw that first and it had her fuming. Then sana appeared on something haute where she didn’t defend Ruswai and focused on her character instead. That really got the crazy juices flowing through RAs small brain and she concluded that it’s a giant conspiracy involving Sadaf haider, Sana . And something haute

All actors in pyar ke sadqay are playing their parts brilliantly. Yumna's expressions when Sarwar physically harnesses her and when she goes to Abdullah are absolute gems. But when she sees Sarwar humiliate Abdullah, and tell them both who is boss. She realises where the power lies. Her husband, who should be her protector, is also a victim of their common abuser. 😭

I think at that time, Aman really wanted Aina to feel like she was losing her mind. Aman probably was still oscillating between revenge and love towards Aina. Now, he is completely and helplessly in love with her. He wants to protect her from an evil Mir Farooq and wants to lead her to the truth.

I think the purpose of first visit to DB was to assess how much Anna remembers and at any point he doesn’t want to just tell her until she has figured it out herself. Bc there’s a point in the last episode when she’s so distraught about the house, aman could’ve just told her this was your house, after all he already told her a couple of episodes ago we used to play when we were little but he decides to keep quiet.
I think he is still not just outright telling her everything because A) she wouldn’t believe him and he knows that she’s aware of his lies and trickery by now, B) he wants her to figure out her dads true evil on her own as she goes. So he’s using natty khala, and I am sure bua in the next episodes when she finally gets there

As u thanked me and my wife for being ur regular viewer and follower on TH-cam, my wife sent back u an appreciation reply on Insta (again from my daughter's account). Well, this msg is only to show u my personal praise of ur work and detailed reviews, which r so pertinent and exact that we can't stop agreeing with u n Amina more. Kudos to such insight. Makes us feel as if u represent our views all across. However, there r few dramas which we don't watch obviously and u rightly so look down on them too. I wonder why do u review dramas like Raaz e Ulfat, Ruswai or Thora Sa Haq which r mere waste of time and depression to gather. All in all u and Amina share a marvellous chemistry on the screen and together depict an educated viewpoint of many like minded people. Please keep up the good work.
