Description
Legacy of Yu is a solo-only, fully-resettable, nonlinear campaign game in which you step into the role of the legendary hero of the Xia Dynasty, Yu the Great. It will be your job to build the canals ahead of the impending flood, while also defending your growing village against neighboring barbarian tribes. With each game, stories will be shared and new gameplay elements added. The campaign features a self-balancing system which adapts to how well you are doing. The campaign ends once you either win or lose seven games.

Fantastic tutorial and the graphics were very helpful. My game arrived yesterday, so now I’ll attempt to play. Your tutorial will make it so much easier to learn the game. Hopefully, the game is not too complex but has very interesting mechanics for a solo play!

Excellent job--the best I've seen!! One quibble about Refreshing the Card Row: at 20:56 you say "In the next step you start placing the new barbarians from LEFT to RIGHT."
However, p.14 of the Rulebook reads:
"Reveal the required number (from point 2) of Barbarian Cards from the top of the Barbarian Draw Pile to fill spaces from RIGHT to LEFT."
(Since (a) the Draw Pile was shuffled and (b) the order of the Barbarian Cards in the row doesn't affect gameplay, I don't see how this really makes any difference.)

Yes but since you dont choose where to place each one it should not make a difference. Lol i am sure that since the rulebook specifies it, it probably plays some role somewhere.

It does matter because sometimes the storybook will add barbarian cards to the top of the deck

Great video, this is very helpful. One thing I did notice, around 13:00 , I believe when discarding acitizen from the top row you get to collect both the items in the brown and red areas
Hello David and thanks. Page 10 bottom right specifies that you only gain bonuses from brown area and not also red
Interesting! They must have changed that from the demo version to the production version. Page 8 of the rule book states: They can be discarded from your hand to the townsfolk discard pile (not your exhausted pile) to gain all items shown in the top left corner (both those on the brown background and the red background)@@peakyboardgamer
@@dstenroos that is correct when you discard a card from your hand! When you discard it from the top row its only the brown bonuses. Its 2 different rules

starting at 11:20, video says you discard to get resources and draw another card. I don't see anywhere in there rulebook that it says you draw another card.
I am referring to the bonus of the card I used in my example. (+1 card). It is not a general rule. sorry if i confused you.
