Coole Sache! Ich war bisher immer der Meinung, ein Traktor muss einen Dieselmotor haben. Aber so ein fetter Benziner hört sich schon cool an. Gefällt mir gut. Was machst du mit all den Maschinen?
If you run out of something to do, come out to my house and get some of my tractors running! I love old tractors and have 7 of them in my woods to restore, but I spend my time restoring other people's tractors and don't have time to work on mine.
Those two long studs that hold the rocker assembly on (they also hold the valve cover on)are also oilers. Not sure if you knew that? The grooves should be clocked to oil the assembly and valve train.
I work for the Pioneer quick couplings company. I can help with getting Pioneer stuff and any adapters if you need them. We make them in Wisconsin. You have mentioned the couplings in other videos.
JT, on the antique tractors with a generator, if the generator housing is the same diameter all the way back, it's 6V. If it necks down at the back, it's 12V. All generator tractors are positive ground.
not all 12v , but many. 1960s tractors are more likely to be Neg Ground, even with a generator. We have a ford 5000, 12v negative ground is specified in the manual. I believe an IH 706 is also specified neg ground, the 56 series with a generator is neg ground (in preparation for the alternator on later production of that series). another 12 v indicator on a delco generator and starter is the delco tag's color: red is 12 v, black is 6v. 50-70 years of life could mean a 12 field coil replacement or frankenstein parts, however.
One thing you definitely need in your shop to lift all the heavy stuff, is either a manual ceiling crane, or a mobile crane. I think it would help you drastically.
Good job,,the hard part over and that old tractor looks to be weighted down on the rear axles,,I bet it ll pull good as they always did cause they had some butt on them in weight like the case tractors did .Good job for now.Hey try a Coors beer and a Keystone comparison,,Keystone is a bit cheaper but it's brewed by Coors ,without the high price.you' ll like it. I was going to say the same thing. They are not very expensive (China 😕) and if you scrape the large chunks of dirt off the fluid will last quite awhile.
Another great video. You are building a good collection of nice toys. I suggest you buy or better yet do a video on building a parts washer. Save you a fortune on carb cleaner. Then once you have five minutes spare go cut some trees and build a new workshop/storage unit. 😂 Keep up the good work.
Nice job on the rebuild JT! While you were starting it up the first time i kept thinking about oil pressure. Dont recall if you put another pump in or not.
