It took me a while to get the hang of this game as a kid on my GBA and I don’t remember ever beating it. Think I’ll go back to and try to beat it finally. This run was amazing to watch! And that fake out death on the platforms was well played.

Mmmmm. I think Pirate Man has a more sad/melancholy theme than a happy one.
luckely only the Super Famicom version is japan exclusive, we got an english version on the GBA but idk. if it's a good port or not, someone might need to clear that up for me
The GBA version sucks and the localization is waaaay inferior to the fantranslation, so nothing lucky about it.
Maybe the NES version of Pirate Man's song is sad, but the GBA version is definitely happy lol
