First and foremost, I appreciate everyone and anyone that liked this run. It definitely wasn't my cleanest run, but it was still a very fun run, so thanks to the GDQ staff for allowing me to run it. Second, the couch and I failed to mention this, but in order to play as the Z-Prototype, you need to beat the game as Megaman first to unlock him with the game's v1.3.0 or higher (it's a free download, so there's little excuse to try). Finally, for those that know about Whirlpool Man and why he wasn't showcased: 1) he's a solo special stage exclusive and can't be fought in the main game unlike Yoku Man, and 2) the Z-Prototype cannot play his stage. He's a Megaman-only stage and the run was only focusing on Z-Prototype. Hope that clears everything up, and thanks again, everyone! - LV Creed
As one of the playtesters for RnR, I would also love to see the game played at a major marathon like a GDQ or any similar big speedrunning event. Of course, the game will need a solid group (runner and commentary alike) to showcase the game well, but we'll see how it goes. The game is still early in its running lifespan. There's plenty of time to see how RnR will develop as a speedgame and could see its time in the marathon limelight.
Am I the only one that thought that, even though well made, Unlimited was *extremely* unfair? Actually let me rephrase that: it's _chock full of bullshit_
If fangames are on GDQ, I'd love to see some Sonic fangames, like the Sequel duology, Time Twisted and Chrono Adventure. Especially Chrono Adventure for routing because it's a metroidvania.
Creed did a race of RKSF with bjw back at SGDQ 2017 but he had controller problems ( similar to the ones he had at the start of willy 4) that ended causing him to lose the race and go over estimate
I didn't go over estimate, but it was still an extremely bad run for my ability in that game. It was a combination of controller issues and abnormal sloppiness for what I'm usually capable of that I REALLY don't look too fondly in that run, and one that I didn't want to go at length about.
Huh? Didn't know this got a zero mode. Interesting I might replay the game again. I liked this game a lot the first time but on repeated runs I saw the problems it had that many other megaman games did not particularly 9,10 and 11.
Several romhacks have made it to the GDQ stage in the past. Quite a few Mario and Mega Man romhacks have been showcased multiple times. Even in this GDQ, a few Mario romhacks were ran, so there may be hope for Mario 64 hacks to be showcased if the opportunity presents itself.
I have never heard of this fangame. Man, the Proto-Zero design clashes so much with the rest, and I'm no fan of these bosses design. It's kind of hurting me in the soul, because the game looks hella solid and fun
zero looks stupid op can ignore movement requried for every screen. seems kinda low skill compared to most megaman games especially coming off the megaman zero speedruns
I tried to like this game but it’s just not fun, the level design isn’t the same as the classics and it’s just a pain to play. The power ups and bosses are cool but the level design isn’t classic.

MMXC ain't out yet.
Mega Man Maker is also very well known, maybe even more than Unlimited
That was one awesome play through. Well done.
Great run! I love Z-prototype mode, cos it completely spins the formula around.
Dr.wily:Z-prototype I need You to destro.....

That was dope. I'd never seen this game played. And Creed did a great job
I’ve never played Mega Man Unlimited but goddamn this dude is a legend!
Wily really did make a monster.
So many games I have not heard of...thanks !
This gives me hope for Megaman: Rock N Roll to show up at AGDQ

@@LordVucious It's been 2 years now and it seems like the Hotfix could be a great place for spotlighting the game.
I tried getting into megaman 11 and my stupid fingers just can't seem to work it, watching Creed run a game this hard is a wonder for a great cause.
Great run, great couch and great runner.
Utterly incredible! Only thing missing was more hype imo. 10/10 all around
Creed was great, another runner I'll follow now thanks to GDQs !
Am I the only one that thought that, even though well made, Unlimited was *extremely* unfair?
Actually let me rephrase that: it's _chock full of bullshit_
It felt unprofessional level design wise, the entire game was bullshit death trap patterns where one mistake will screw you over.

Sonic Adventure 7
I mean, they did the best Sonic fangame this year - Sanic Ball.
Gnidel ROMhacks =\= "Fangames".
This guy is great! Super charasmatic
Do you mean "thuper charathmatic"?
Great run!
Awesome run. 🤟
Nice speed run!
omg that was amazing... i have never played this one
It's like Creed has is own hype man.
Amazing swag run.
Sick run
amazing run~!!
Great game, great playthrough!
...what happened in 2017?
Who all did the art for this game? The shot in the thumbnail makes me think of a friend's style.

LOL Slurpee switched spots with the runner after the first games run

and what the problem?
Reginald VelJohnson just killed it.
He looks a lot like him, but he definitely does not sound like him!
if it hasn't already been featured on GDQ, i think Rabi-Ribi should be run on here
The Rabi-Ribi community has been submitting runs to GDQ for years, but they always get rejected for reasons unknown...
X4 is the best one, that is true.
To anyone reading: If X4 isn't your favorite MMX game, then you should question what you're fighting for.
@@DiscoCokkroach witty, but x2 exists, and x4 is too easy and the final stages are shit (like most final stages in mmx sadly)
Why is Zero not red?
He's a prototype.
Same as what Upperlowercase said. As an unfinished robot, he doesn't have the red parts and plates on him yet
I wish that the Creator would have made it have just a little bit of story
I wonder if romhacks can make it into gdq cause it would be cool to see some Mario 64 romhacks

Try Rockbot 1, possibly the latest version!
Lol, why are all the Megaman games that have Zero in em always so broken?
Zero is broken in every video game that he's in (Mega Man X games, Marvel vs Capcom games, etc.). He's just fundamentally unbalanced, I suppose.
hoipe!
Nice
It's a shame that so much work went into a game that the devs can't sell, this should have just been it's own game if you ask me.
