This song gets me every time. Usually it’s the line “If there’s ever anybody that deserves a ticket to the other side, it would be that sweet old man who looked me in the eyes….” EVERY DAMN TIME
Plz let me explain the ❤s leave and the thumbs up means I love the music you bring to the table and the the thumbs up means keep up the outstanding work darlin ❤
Ronnie Dunn is an amazing vocalist. Brooks and Dunn has a long list of great songs from tear jerkers to party songs. It's a rabbit hole you can get lost in
I understand the first blush of sadness but the point of this song is the joy. There IS something more. Because he believes, it is not over for Mr. Wrigley any more than it is truly over for his wife and child. The song is a celebration of life eternal.
The song is epic by itself...but the visual video brings the true story home!! Its straight out of Ronnie Dunn's ( the singer) childhood!! He literally takes us on a walk through time passed!!! And Im sure the deeper thing here is the beautiful blending of 2 humans regardless of race, money, politics etc....just love!
Just like music, sometimes things have a tendency to stick with you. Just like this song stuck with you, what you just said will stick with me for the rest of my life. Not everybody made it to today. Perspective is everything. Thank you for blessing us all with that deep piece of wisdom even if you didn't know you were doing it in the moment. I will remember those words every day that i wake up.
Not all country music fans like the same kind of country. This, this is the kind that speaks to the soul. When your in a bad way, a little Tennessee Whiskey and some sad country music, can heal your soul. Yes it makes you cry. And it aint manly to cry. But it is good for the soul the purge the negative energy.
Hi, another great job, this is very emotional, glad you are doing these videos.. brooks and Dunn have many soulful crossover songs... Please look at brad paisley's he didn't have to be, and we danced.. I actually lived these songs like written about me. Brad Paisley also did whiskey lullaby, a sad song, others did reaction but I'm sure you heard that one. Also brad paisley's 100 years, omg that is a song.. Hope you read these lol, bring me to memories and tears.. tyvm tc
I have watched probably 20 people's reaction and I must say I love seeing the younger generations react to songs like this the way the world is right now. Plus this was his lived experience the singer and people just don't really interact with older people anymore to get schooled on life and you know old stories and learn how to work on a car and it's just sad I'm not saying all of them I just I know it's not like it was when I grew up in the 70s 80s and 90s beginning of 2000s❤ Ronnie, nor his mom's saw color💜💜🫶🏼 this was this mans famil💜gets me and my feelings every time. Thank you.
This is not a sad song! It's a song of inspiration. the words in red are the words of Jesus and also believe in him will be reunited together again in heaven
Thats YET to be PROVEN ever..I don't think there;s NOTHING called LIFE coming after death ..When you die -thats it...There's no return ..Nor do over!! ITS OVER Facts don't lie..!
Co-written by the great Craig Wiseman, who also co-penned "Live Like You Were Dying" for Tim McGraw - I would highly recommend that one for you. Might get you a little misty-eyed, though :-)
New subscriber and don't worry, baby, I've seen/heard this numerous times and cry every damn time. I'm wiping tears 😭 so I can see to type this. For REAL!
My favorite songs from Brooks & Dunn are That Ain’t No Way To Go; Whiskey Under the Bridge; Neon Moon; Hard Workin’ Man; She Used To Be Mine; Brand New Man; She’s Not the Cheatin’ Kind; If You See Him, If You See Her (with Reba McEntire); and of course Believe!
What the song is saying is that there is more to life than one that ends with a funeral. He is talking about where people go AFTER they live here on this earth. Old Man Wrigley believed in Jesus Christ and "the words written in red" - which are the words Jesus spoke. By believing in Jesus and trusting in Him for salvation, he knew he'd see his wife and child again in Heaven. When the singer says, "I believe," he is telling you that he, just like Old Man Wrigley, believes in Jesus and what is waiting for ALL who believe when this life is over.
Wow just heard that song I believe it beautiful song great-great-great band Brooks & Dunn. You look cool and you are cool and also I just subscribe to your channel and give you a thumbs up and also there's a great song by the Bee gees called Alone I wish you would play also troubadour by George strait is fantastic!
Ashley, I love you already. you are so real. You keep wearing your heart on your sleeve, because others will see you, and stop being fake. Lead from the front girl.
You look cool in you are cool I just subscribed to your channel and love the Brooks and Dunn I Believe and I also like to beegees have you ever tried them?
The little boy keeps his friendship up with old man Wriggly and as the boy grows up, he realizes that old man Wriggly was believing what The Lord Jesus Christ HIMSELF tells ALL humans, as plain as day in John 3:16-17. Old man Wriggly CHOSE to believe.
Amazing song by Brooks and Dunn, Another song you might want to react to is a song sung by Martina McBride called "Concrete Angel" A must listen to and react. Hope you will. By the way bring your tissues. This song has a powerful message.
Beautiful song but not what everyone says. Not based on his childhood. Written by Ronnie Dunn and Craig Wiseman, “Believe” is told from the perspective of a man reflecting on his childhood and the time he spent with his neighbor, a widower he referred to as Old Man Wrigley.Jun 23, 2022
Ok so as a country fan give me some r&b or rap song to try out. Country is about the story so if any of y'all got a idea of where I can start off please suggest.
good girl,,, i'm very proud of you young lady for looking into the souls of country boys and country girls,,, God is love and we all know Jesus was Black and all that Hollywood and that insane Democrat party is doing is keeping us all separated and divided,,, Keep it up,,, God Bless you sweety...
This song is so incredible. I think i have watched at least 50 people react and not 1. Has not had "allergies". Thats how impactful the song is.
This song gets me every time. Usually it’s the line “If there’s ever anybody that deserves a ticket to the other side, it would be that sweet old man who looked me in the eyes….” EVERY DAMN TIME

This is a true story about Ronnie Dunn...I cry every time I hear it!!
I’m an old crusty…guy and have listened to this hundreds of times but still tear up.
Welcome to country music.
Ronnie Dunn, the one singing, was a Youth Pastor before he began his musical career, and it shows in his delivery of this song
This song makes me cry every time I listen to it. I grew up listening to Brooks and Dunn. They are a classic!!
Same here!
Same. It is both sad and uplifting at the same time.
Another old guy here. I get misty during the 1st verse. Guess the ladies don't have a corner on that market.
Amazing song and it's a true story about that man's life.... I could listen to him sing all day long 🔥
Ronnie Dunn is an amazing vocalist. Brooks and Dunn has a long list of great songs from tear jerkers to party songs. It's a rabbit hole you can get lost in
We love Brooks & Dunn and we love you Miss Ashley 🙏❤️🇺🇸

I wonder how many of us have wept for the loss of Old Man Wrigley?
Country music is the soul of the nation and mostly true stories .
Awesome reaction from an in-touch lady!!
Nice job young lady
Phew, I cry every time!and I BELIEVE! Such a Powerful song.
Thank you for your reaction❤
This from Dunn's childhood. They have fun stuff to try " the Boot Scootin' Boogie". Enjoy
No its not from his childhood,, he has spoken on this
@@michaelbiggs2238 actually it was written by Ronnie and Craig Wisman. Not true at all but excellent tune!
I understand the first blush of sadness but the point of this song is the joy. There IS something more. Because he believes, it is not over for Mr. Wrigley any more than it is truly over for his wife and child. The song is a celebration of life eternal.
I cry every single time I hear this song or watch video
Yeah, the rumor is that Ronnie Dunn made more money from buying Kleenex stock than he did from the songwriting royalties...
Lmao that’s not where I was expecting the end of that sentence to go 🤣 that was good, can’t believe I’d never heard that one before 🤣
I cry every time I hear this story. I'm glad for Mr. Wriggly but sad for that young man who lost the one who inspired him and taught him about faith.
The best voice in country music
I loved seeing your real reaction to such an emotional and inspirational song. God bless you
This song was the childhood of Ronnie (the singer) he had an old man wriggle in his life. Sadly for him it's a true story
*Wrigley*
The song is epic by itself...but the visual video brings the true story home!! Its straight out of Ronnie Dunn's ( the singer) childhood!! He literally takes us on a walk through time passed!!! Co-written by the great Craig Wiseman, who also co-penned "Live Like You Were Dying" for Tim McGraw - I would highly recommend that one for you. Might get you a little misty-eyed, though :-)
another example of how we are closer together than politics and media want you to think, being this is a true story from Ronnie Dunn life

GF get your tissues out... if this don't make you tear up;... you have no heart. I Believe.
Sadly, there are people who believe that THIS life is all there is....they don't believe in an afterlife, and that's what's heartbreaking.
Coming for u. Gotcha
The old man taught him the gospel just by the way he lived his life.

True story
Ok so as a country fan give me some r&b or rap song to try out. Country is about the story so if any of y'all got a idea of where I can start off please suggest.
For the algorithm.
“Words written in red” - In the Bible Jesus’s words are often in red rather than black. Cool lyric. Beautiful song.
Words Written in Red are the Words of Jesus in the New Testament. In many Bibles His words are written in Red..
good girl,,, i'm very proud of you young lady for looking into the souls of country boys and country girls,,, God is love and we all know Jesus was Black and all that Hollywood and that insane Democrat party is doing is keeping us all separated and divided,,, Keep it up,,, God Bless you sweety...
Girl, you best go grab those tissues right away
So ya’ll if you don’t know the “words in red” lyrics refers to words spoken by yeshua aka Jesus in the Bible.
