The changeable phone holder is for RHD vehicles so the phone is always in front of the A pillar, thus eliminating a blind spot most people create by sticking their phones in front them on the windshield. Wish more manufacturers did this to improve safety and awareness
Good that Nissan thought to put a bulkhead between the driving compartment and the loadspace - means that the heater doesn’t work it’s nuts off trying to heat the cargo area as well as the cabin
It's mandatory in order to get reduced taxes. A vehicle with a separated cargo compartment that can hold a standard European pallet get reduced tax at point of sale and have green plates...
There gonna be some self employed workers using this for private trips too. So I think it's valuable information.

Bjorn, please consider testing one of Stellantis small vans - e-Partner, e-Berlingo, Combo e, e-Doblo, Pro-ace City Electric. I know that this is the same drivetrain as in any other Stellantis car but there are differences like lack of heat pump and larger body.
This is a Renault Kangoo, that is rebadged as Nissan Twinstar and Mercedes Citan. The climate controls and screen are the same as in a Clio 5, the instrument dials as well.
That could be a cooooool basis for transformation into a camping bus. No gas tanks, all electricity run. But why they use such a small battery, I do not understand. even the spacetourer has 50% more. Given the not so bad efficiency, that would be a really good combination. but 41.kWh seems real small
NO! THEY CAN'T DISCONTINUE THE eNV200! THEY HAVEN'T BROUGHT IT TO THE US YET! I know it probably seems stupid but before Covid I stayed in Norway for just under a month and every time I saw a eNV200 I nerd-ed out over it Such a practical little van that the US isn't blessed with 😢
Small city or large town delivery. But the van was empty, so if it was weighted say 66%-78%. Just a tiny city or small town delivery or as you say, it’s a pizza van.
What costs that car? Interesting especially for companies (house cleaners, electricians, installation staff etc.pp.). Available? Needs some researches on country level then. No need for real hyperspeed charging, if it helps to let the price at lowest possible for producer. Thanks for your impressions video!
@bjornnyland puurrrrrdy please do a winter test of the RWD Model Y that is at outrageously low prices right now. 430k! Huuh? NAF did their winter test and I was mildly disappointed by the % loss in range. Maybe that is just how it is with LFP? Maybe you get different results. Also very much interested in the charging times during low temp.
Very valid point! Model Y RWD will sell in much greater numbers than this van. I have an LR but would love to see how the base model would perform on the 1000km challenge. My guess is it needs only one more stop than the LR, so maybe 20 mins+ to the LR time? Would be pretty decent result for that time!
Hey Björn ! I really want to see the battle against bz4X and i waiting for the result. 2 h less than Toyota. This would be so funny. :-))) A Van is better than Toyota bz4x the most worst electric car in the world. Absolutely stupid name bz4x btw...
I’m a blind subscriber and apart from when he initially charged the vehicle he didn’t announce what the range result was could someone fill me in cheers
possible to do this test with a decent load , lets say 80 percent of its maximum , as this vehicle is being used by small business owners or technicians etc
I'm pretty sure some of the EV brands are killing low bass on purpose to save energy, or because they think people won't hear it over road noise. I drive a Peugeot e-Expert and the bass rolls off early
Mercedes has rebadged ICE Renault Kangoo’s for years as the Citan, and is now rebadging the Renault eKangoo as the EQT. (even if Mercedes is not part of the Renault-Nissan- Mitsubishi alliance)
Actually, I find the drunk (dashboard trunk :D) really practical
Great place for a minibar:)
It’s a rebranded Renault Kangoo Van E-tech, same platform as Mercedes Citan or Dacia Jogger…
It’s build in France, not in Japan or China

Did Björn rename the toyota bz4x to toyota bs, or did I missunderstand…😂
1000km challenge isnt totally pointless in my opinion. I think some of your viewers would be crazy enough to drive this kind of distance😅
There gonna be some self employed workers using this for private trips too. So I think it's valuable information.

@@wojciechmuras553 maybe the passenger version has it. I'm 100% sure the cargo ones doesn't.
@ Yeah, that's plausible.
The twin was just tested by a few German TH-cam folks. As a Renault you can also get it as a family van. But man - quite expansive...
I really like this car. This would be a great car for those who need a wheel chair / lift.
Thanks for the ridealong Bjorn. I didn't know a vehicle like that existed before today. Never stop learning new stuff. All the best.
The bigger sun viser mirror can be used to check the blind spot iirc
That's genius. That blind spot in a van is a giant headache in city driving.
7:41 loved the propilot (or lack of ) section 😂
TPS reports, nice. I had to look it up, but remember the classic fondly.
My favourite van❤ the tekna+ trim has the beautiful digital display cockpit.
This is a Renault Kangoo, that is rebadged as Nissan Twinstar and Mercedes Citan. The climate controls and screen are the same as in a Clio 5, the instrument dials as well.
hello there love the videos. I hope you do the citroen e-birlingo because they say it's the best EV van. hope to see it.
In summer maybe even 300km of city driving. Hey, that's actually great...

The T30 X-trail had a storage behing the steering wheel, with a power outbut. Dials where in the center of the dash.
The highs and lows of the audio output are configurable.
For a vehicle that's basically a converted fossil car, this is pretty decent. I wonder if they'll be able fit a bigger battery?
Would it be faster then Zoe 50 ? 70kw flat curve is nice !
Did Bjorn rename de Toyota BZ4X to Toyota BS ?

26 kW at 90 km/h??? This is a lot!!!
I didn't think it would be worse than the Opel Combo-e! Bjorn, how do you comment on such a large expense?
Off to Bangkok motor show now. Anything you want me to find out?
TPS reports 😂👍
What is that metric expressed in Kelvin meter?

15 or 16 inch tires?
❤❤❤
Saw a Volvo Truck charging today. Also ”EF” license plate. Which stands for the german city ”Erfurt”
It's a Norwegian plate though.
@@dauerwerbesendung7045 i know. Was just a funny coincident
EF = EU in Norway before 1992
Its looks like a Zoe Ph2
the sudden range indicator gone - - - when almost empty is from Renault ZOE
the whole van is a renault rebadge 😅
@@alfrredd I know but Bjorn said it is typical for Japanese cars and stuff. But the ZOE does the same: it shows 25 km range left and then: - - - km
When you test commercial vans you should load them up with barely legal weight and see how that affects range and consumption
I’m a blind subscriber and apart from when he initially charged the vehicle he didn’t announce what the range result was could someone fill me in cheers
Watch the end.
@@bjornnyland I have listened to the video again and the end twice more and the audio does not announce the range
Cheers
212km at 90km/hr, 149 km at 120km/hr
@@7necromancer Thanks
2023 and OEMs still come with these converted ICE cars

It’s nothing to do with saving energy. It’s to fit cheap, small speakers.
front looks like nissan arya
This is zoe 50 😂
It's Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi not Renault-Nissan-Mercedes :D
