"THE TRANSFORMATIVE EVENT" by Phillip D Zelikow.
Published in 1998... THREE YEARS BEFORE 9/11
"Readers should imagine the possibilities for themselves ... an act of CATASTROPHIC TERRORISM that killed thousands or tens of thousands of people and/or disrupted the necessities of life for hundreds of thousands, or even millions, would be a watershed event in America's history. It could involve loss of life and property unprecedented for peacetime and undermine Americans fundamental sense of security within their own borders.
Constitutional liberties would be challenged as the United States sought to protect itself from further attacks by pressing against allowable limits in surveillance of citizens, detention of suspects, and the use of deadly force. Such an event would divide our past and future into a before and after"
This is an extract from an essay titled Catastrophic Terrorism, written in 1998 by Phillip D Zelikow. Following the rejection of Henry Kissinger, Bush's initial choice for the role, Zelikow was appointed Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission by George W Bush in 2003, and he authored the subsequent 9/11 Commission Report, published in 2004.
From 1991 to 1998 Zelikow was Associate Professor of Public Policy and co-director of Harvard's Intelligence and Policy Programme. Whilst there he worked with Ernest May and Richard Neustadt on the USE and MISUSE of history in policy making. The idea of "public presumption", he explained, is akin to William McNeill's notion of "public myth" but without the negative implication sometimes invoked by the word "myth". Such presumptions are beliefs (1) thought to be true although not necessarily known to be true with certainty, and (2) shared in common within the relevant political community". In other words, an expert in the mechanics of turning a "myth" into "reality", turning an actual "UNTRUTH" into a perceived "TRUTH".
This was the man selected by the Bush Administration to tell the world the TRUTH about the 9/11 attacks.

Lmao neither will disappear and neither have any nuggets to drop on politics. Joe is a comedian and martial artist. Tucker is a shill. He was one on Fox and now he's one for himself. He just says whatever the disenfranchised right leaning youth want to hear and they eat it up.
If you can't see that I feel legitimately sorry for you. Tucker is the fakest, most snake oil salesman person I've ever seen/heard.

As you are talking about the suffering addicts, it’s the first time I’ve considered a few things. I work for specialty treatment courts. It’s a long term, 12-18 month program that treats the issue holistically, right down to full time employed, productive recovering persons! Healing. I can’t even wrap my mind around the difference in our communities with just half the money sent to feed wars and bail out whole countries being invested in the actually recovery process of our communities. Investing it in healing! Oh my gosh what a difference that would make to OUR country.
