@@architectstour5040 Thank you for the response, one last question ... I want to scan the interior of my SUV's cargo area so I can have a solid model that will allow me to design a sleeping platform and storage cabinets, if I secure a phone with LiDAR to a rotating base in the approximate middle of the cargo area and slowly rotate the camera, what do you think the approximate resolution/accuracy of the 3D model will be? Are we talking 1-3 mm, 3-7 mm, or over?
@@Ironman-fv7hr i really cannot recommend using this app for 3d printing because i haven’t done it yet. so im not sure about the accuracy of it, i have used it only in computer graphics and architectural vizualization.i think its still better to take an actual measurement of it. thank you.
Does this app allow you to import into a solid model package like SolidWorks and pull dimensions?
yes.. you can export the scan to an obj or stl file format..
