    Hello everyone and in this video we will be learning how to 3D scan a room and then import it into Blender. This video is sponsored by Display.Land. They recently reached out asking me to do a video on the app. And I got to say this app is super cool. It allows you to scan almost anything and import it into any 3D program.

    So unfortunately this app is shutting down. I do not know if they are working on creating a new app or not. I am hoping that they do because this app was super cool!

      Display land was seriously one of a kind, AR infused photogrammetry, but if you're chill with traditional/regular photogrammetry I suggest trying Meshroom. I wouldn't say it's as good as Display land, but it's easily the next best thing if you're not wanting to buy an Iphone X. Only really limitation is that it requires a Nvidia-cuda graphics card.

    Jesus christ slow down man! This is the first video i've seen on your channel. I've used blender years ago and wanted to jump back into it. You're moving so fast that i honestly can't keep up. It's still a good video nonetheless.

    • @BlenderMadeEasy
      @BlenderMadeEasy  4 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Haha sorry about that. I'll try to slow down next time! This video isn't really for learning Blender, it's more for just showing off the app. If you are just getting back into Blender you should definitely check out some of my other videos. I move a lot slower and it's much easier for people to follow along.

    Looking for help: I'm looking for user-friendly apps to capture rooms or multiple spaces in a house for showcasing in VR. (+Scenario 2: I don't have an iPhone) and I'm seeking a workflow that doesn't require programming skills. Which apps would you recommend for this purpose - for scanning and for showing in VR?

      IT is incredibly great for the way it already is, people are using their own phones ant its *for free* If you desire something greater, you should probably buy those huge high definition cameras and a photogrammetry software.
