I have been having really crippling anxiety these last few months and I was fully sobbing during this routine. There is something so cathartic and healing about just checking in with myself and giving myself space to just be. Thank you for this.

Thank you. I started to cry when you said to connect with self and just observing the body and to be with self. I’m a very sensitive person and I feel emotions more so than others and it’s so overwhelming honestly all the time. And I recently lost a friend to chemotherapy and I feel broken and this has helped me relax, I feel like I can go to sleep tonight. Thank you.

Like others here, I experienced an unusual release I can’t explain. I bawled not more than a minute into the practice. I was completely entranced, almost unable to move past the first pose, just letting my poor, tired mind and body rest-honoring what it needed. She has such a beautiful, calming voice that just lets you “be”. She created this space that I keep finding myself eager to rush back to. Thank you for giving me a safe, warm space to call a little piece of home. (I practice with a heating pad under me). I am transfixed. Thank you, Bird.

I had absolutely no idea coming into this comment section that everyone else felt what I felt. I started crying during the child pose. I don’t know why, but I did. I recently was hospitalized because of suicidal intent, and in the hospital I learned yoga from one of the other patients. It was really nice, it’s been a month since then and I haven’t done any yoga or stretching. I’ve been having a really rough couple days, so on a whim I decided to look up yoga for flexibility because I’ve been so stiff as I haven’t left my bed much. Doing this has helped me feel temporarily better and my body feels much looser. I think you just have a healing energy about you. I’m definitely going to keep coming back to this channel, thank you so much!

I often don't really like yoga videos... I like doing the yoga but don't connect with the practitioner and never do the same one twice. Except this one. I haven't seen your videos before, but doing this felt so good and restorative, I have kept it open in a tab on my screen and done it several times in the last week. I love how you give enthusiastic permission to find what is feeling good in your own body, and adjust poses or movements to make them work for you. This really feels like the thing I need right now. I used to be very fit and have struggled with long covid for the last 15 months. Most exercise has been completely out of the question, and my body has felt the lack sorely. This is something I could do, that brought me into my body, didn't create any judgement towards myself or my current abilities, and felt very healing. Thank you so much for this!

I have recently gotten into Yoga, and came across your channel. For me, you are my ideal teacher, as your voice is calming and you don't speak much in order for us to be in tune with ourselves. I followed this video for 4 nights in a row and not only felt at peace but also slept like a baby throughout those nights. I had to take a 3 night break due to my environmental circumstances and felt... just... so odd not being able to do my yoga prior to bed! I finally was able to get back to it tonight, and I feel so much better. What I'm trying to say is I'm addicted (not sure if that's a good thing, but anyways...)! Thanks, sis! 🤍

I struggle with anxiety and an inability to let go of stress as well as being ridiculously stiff and inflexible. Things like meditation usually awaken a lot of hot frustration and anger in me and I was not happy when my therapist was pointing me towards yoga since I was sure it would end up the same. You are one of the few guides I've been able to listen to where I felt like I could just try my best and not feel pressured or left behind. Thank you

  • @amdyinggg

I’ve ‘messed around’ with yoga plenty of times, but I have never truly been consistent. I never felt the “spiritual connection” like some people described it to me. However, I am a workout fanatic who loves moving my body and sometimes I find myself craving for something more therapeutic that will still leave me satisfied with exercise and my mind immediately went to yoga. It was around 11:45 pm and I was living only on the adrenaline of doing a shred workout after experiencing trouble sleeping for months on end. I got so exhausted of my practices and indulged in the world of yoga, but I made it more approachable for myself. I know my boundaries and how it takes a lot for me to get attached to something and stay consistent, so i did this simple good night yoga routine in hopes of finding myself a better rest, to let go for a few minutes, and just relax without crazy hip hop music in the background, timers, and annoying beeps at the end of every 45 seconds. This was perfect for me - not having to commit so much but giving just enough effort to the point I felt rewarded after doing it and super happy with myself. I feel so much more connection to simple practices like this now, and I wouldn’t say I feel that ‘spiritual connection’ but I do in fact feel so much more connected to my body. It feels as if I know myself more and every time I roll out the mat, I smile knowing that I’m not about to sweat gallons, I’m just here to spend sometime with myself.

I’ve been in an extremely toxic relationship recently and the relationship I have with my family is very stressed so I am very isolated in this time of healing. This was my first time trying a Pilates lesson like this and my God was in tears. I will be doing this EVERY night until I feel okay again and by then it’ll probably just be a routine. I was so shocked how this routine opened me up to my body and I let all my emotions out

I don’t usually write comments for videos but there was something super magical about this one… I’ve been watching your videos and doing yoga morning, afternoon, and before bed just as a way to relax and release tension, when you start talking about connecting with your body and creating space, I started to feel my body and hear it too - how it needs gentleness. Tonight I truly felt connected with myself, and my mind wandered to how I started doing this for my sake and being gentle for myself. I felt my own kindness reflected back to me, like “I’m doing this for you, so you can sleep better, because I love you” type of thing. Which is super new for someone so self-critical.. I never felt that much self-love before. I think I will sleep peacefully tonight. Thank you for these videos❤

I cried while i was hugging myself and telling myself how great i am and how i deserve all the love and support i give to others but hardly ever to myself. If noone else tells you you are beautiful and you deserve the world, i am telling you just like i told myself. We dont need no once validation, i remember when i was going thru my taughest times in life and i was completely lost, i started to express woth the force to my boyfriend how proud i was of myself, how good i feel to be able to be this tiny girl and be able to go thru all this challenges and really fed up life by myself, and gods grace, he told me this exact words “you don’t have to say it yourself, if you are good people will tell you, and u dont gotta say it to yourself” :) it makes me smile now, because i realized finally who i was dealing with and im surprised im still sane dealing with most of my 20s with people so toxic and negative and literally my enemies. Now im giving all the love and support finding my true self and gettin my old self back and creating the best version of me. Moral of the story, never let anyone tell you less than you deserve to hear! If they do idc how bad it feels and hurts u walk away! U will be left out im cold and drained exhausted and weak feeling lost confused mentally physically emotionally spiritually financially and when the reality smacks u left n right just like i am right now, it will be harder so watch out on red flags. I rather be left alone than have people who are this good at manipulating and draining and dragging u thru the mud. 🙏🏻❤️

This is the first time i’ve ever done yoga. For years I have been too unmotivated & depressed to exercise, do yoga, take good care of myself etc, and a few days I woke up feeling more motivated than I have ever felt. I’ve been pushing myself to workout every day, be healthier and take better care of myself. You saying “Be proud of yourself for showing up to the mat, give gratitude to yourself for being here today” made me cry. I didn’t know I needed this, but I promised myself I will do this every day. Thank you.

One of the best yoga sessions I ever tried, after a long tiresome day filled with overwhelming “adult duties” this helped not only my body relax but also a lot of emotions surfaced and I started crying during the session, lots of emotional release but wow, how amazing I feel afterwards, this was awesome! Definitely subscribed and going to be doing many more of these in the future :)

Today was such a stressful day. Just this weekend even, I’ve been very emotional and inattentive to my needs. when I followed this video tonight, I cried so much, but felt so much peace. Not only was my cat rubbing against me the whole time, sitting right with me but everything you were saying just made me feel so good and made me realize that everything is okay. When I’m sad or stressed, my back tends to start hurting really bad, and just 10 minutes of your yoga routine helps me so much, it’s amazing. Thank you so much 🩷
