Marketing is a step by step process, you build off your audience continuously to create a base. A lot of people seem to think by getting a celebrity to wear a piece will instantly give them an insane amount of exposure generating nonstop sales. When this does happen, it’s rare and usually it’s not for long. The best way to grow a business is organically. Can’t get enough of these discussions though nothing else like this on TH-cam.👍

Many don’t know that supremes founder first worked at a trendy 80s brand called Parachute. They had stores all over the USA and their flagship store in NYC was directly across the CDG store in SOHO.
So when I found out about this info and not up on the new fashion of now, but was really into fashion in the 80s, I wasn’t surprised of him opening Supremes. I’m surprised that no one now talks about parachute and it’s all about vintage right now and they were huge in the fashion scene back then. Intact about 3 years ago, I found.a parachute shirt at some garage sale for like $8. I tried to look on eBay to see how much it was going for and i couldn’t even find one n eBay.

Hey Reggie. watching your videos has been very informative. Although i came across your videos after I came up with a brand name which my brother thinks is so sick by the way. I don't know if i should change my whole process now, because i definitely wasn't thinking about brand philosophy when i thought of the name.(Haven't done anything else because i found your series ) Also how do i deal with things like legal structure, tax, sales permits and the law in general. Really want my brand to be future-proof. Thanks

Would you later make a video on finding investors? I have everything ready, except money for manufacturing my sneakers. How do I find the right person who is willing to invest in my business? I have the pitch and a business plan ready. I don't want to post my designs on social, your recent videos about other designers stealing scare the shit out of me hahahaha!

This has been explained several times and it's almost unbelievable how some people question the validity because I don't have some famous brand that you know of. But the real question is why would I tell you something I don't know about? And why do you question my integrity in the matter? What triggered you to believe I don't know what I'm talking about?
It seems very peculiar that given the facts but here I go having to prove myself again. My first job out of college was creative marketing, mostly for lifestyle brands and fashion labels. From there I became part of several design teams that built there own brands. I developed a line for Los Angeles based company sbe, designed the tech packs for Fred Segal Jeans Japan, developed my own line (that I shuttered because consulting was far more lucrative), created marketing initiatives for brands in Japan that give more exposure to brands like Broke City Gold and Cote Mer. And throughout all that time I created a business in Japan that deals with consulting for fashion labels.
The real travesty here is that marketing is nearly universal across the board. Anybody with a knowledge of it knows that no matter if it's a clothing line or not the same rules apply. I happen to work in fashion as an unseen actor. And as an unseen actor my validity is questioned the minute you see me, on the screen, talking about something I spent nearly 10 years of my life studying, becoming a part of, and implementing in my own business.
And yet you immediately retreated to me not having a brand when I, to this day, help build brands from the ground up. It's the very reason I got a chance to live in Japan! But hey, it's the internet and I could be lying about the whole thing and going out of my way to give you false information. Seems pointless and time consuming no?

@@THECASUALco for me personally the problem is creating content for your social media in order to do marketting because i am on a limited budget, you didnt explain any of that. Guerilla marketting was not clear you didnt give any clear and good example. For me personally this video wasnt helpful at all, this was the most important episode of the whole series and you didnt even scratch the surface. Half of the people who liked this video are not even asking the real question
