Been to this one and it is a beautiful cemetery. There's a couple of other famous graves there and one of them is Herbert Butros Khaury a.k.a. "Tiny Tim" and the other one is Franklin Clarence Mars who started the Mars chocolate company.
That's has to be the most glorious memorial park I have seen. They must have quite the fleet of grounds keepers to manicure around all those memorial markers. Amazing footage Ron. Thanks for taking us along! ✌️
What a Beautiful Cemetary! Great Story and another Incredible Drone/ Music Production! Thank you Ron for All your work in creating these FAN TAS TIC videos! I am ready for the next Great "WE ARE IN" Production!!! Have a Safe Journey ♥️♥️
I wouldn't mind strolling through that one! I love it when the birds are singing. Thanks Ron for the quick study on the Pilsburys. I loved the presentation...so polished!
@@Bella1neverknows670 I've been called goth...even had a young man call me Goth Mom. Ha. Some just don't get it. I used to power walk in this one cemetery that had 10.000 souls buried there. Yes....peaceful :)
Hi Ron. This is a beautiful cemetery. Very well kept. Beautiful monuments and head stones. Thank you Mr Pillsbury for your wonderful products. And Rest In Peace. Ron, thank you for bringing me along on this wonderful trip. Great video as usual. Thank You.
Its amazing how we can go from out-of-the way little known cemeteries, not much in the way of headstones or markers, umkempt...to this here. A beautiful day, and such magnificent sculptures...bottom line there are ppl in both places that lived lives - some much shorter than others - but all have stories to tell. We could easily spend a lot of time exploring here, no doubt! The combination drone -music was awesome. I had an uncle who worked for Pillsbury many years ago, hes gone now, but i never knew much re: the foumding of the company. Thanks again for a great video!
This is a beautiful place I live about 15 minutes south of it & every summer my husband & I put the top down on my mustang & we cruise the lakes & this cemetery. It is just lovely- absolutely a park. The wealthiest of the wealthy are buried here. The mausoleums are magnificent. The entire place is gorgeous.
Awesome as always. I feel like I travel with you on your adventures and stories. I appreciate your time and research. I am close to 70 now and I grew up walking through every cemetery I came to. I am slower at doing it now. But l still stop. Living in Tennessee now there are so many civil war graves and history. I came across a solider's grave from the Spanish American war last week.
Omg, what a spectacular cemetery. Wow will you come back and show the Large stained glass windows? And fantastic monuments! Looking forward to see what’ all you find. What a find…Thank you for the introduction to a goldmine of beautiful sculptures.
My baby son and my mama are buried in this cemetery. It is a truly magnificent, serene, quiet, meditative space to grieve. And there are magnificent monuments...including Hubert Humphrey's Thank you for visiting. I feel like my soul is soaring over my loved one's resting places. 🌹
Lakewood is a beautiful place. My family has a plot there. If you are ever in town again definitely check out more of it. The lake is formerly known as Lake Calhoun now Bde Maka Ska. Dont forget a trip to Minnehaha Falls. Thank You for the video!
My dad is buried at Lakewood. It's an absolutely beautiful and historical cemetery. Next time you're at Lakewood, make sure that you go into the chapel.
Beautiful video Ron. I always love the drone footage and your choices in music. There's a cemetery in Illinois that is one of the largest. It was charted in 1855 with the first internment in 1857. At one point it was over 300 acres and it's now 225 I believe. 78,000 are currently buried there and new burials still occur. It has several historical figures interred there with one being Octavia Chanute "Father of Aviation". There is also a man who was killed in 9/11. There's a civil war section, baby section, mausoluem, 15 private mausoleums, and the list goes on. During the late 1800's early 1900's they would have concerts, Sunday picnics, with walking trails etc. It's a beautiful cemetery that has suffered its own travestys. At one point one area of the cemetery you could look out over the bluff and see the river valley below. The cemetery is Springdale Cemetery in Peoria Illinois. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thankyou for another GREAT video!! Beautiful cermerary, thankyou for the beautiful drone shots and wonderful music also. Please take care, stay safe, God bless you. Thankyou for taking us all along. Happy Father's Day!!
Thanks Ron for the tour and story of the Pillsbury family. This cemetery is absolutely beautiful! A perfect day as well. You have no idea how much this made me smile thank you
0:54 Beautiful cemetery, trees, monuments, music. I love all of the statues throughout. The fly in is amazing. All the statues and monuments everywhere. Just beautiful. 3:47 Amazing landmark in the cemetery for the Pillsbury family. Huge monument. 1:35 Beautiful. Even the wealthiest folks had difficulties with babies dying very young. No amount of money could help that when there wasn't the right medicines yet. She lost a couple of her babies at young ages. Sad. So many kids died before their lives really started back then.
George Alfred Pillsbury October 4, 1870 - December 21, 1870. Assuming I read the handwritten cause of death correctly it was peritonitis. Quickie research on that notes that antibiotics are "almost always needed."
Hi Ron. I saw one of your channels: “In search of a mother’s unmarked grave” at Oakland cemetery. What you do is awesome. 👏I have so much respect for you. There is another channel, which I will not mention the name….that person has no respect. He curses on his channel and ridicules people. You buy tombstones and Lay flowers on unmarked graves. That other person doesn’t even do that. Ron, May God bless 🙏🏽 you for what you do. God bless 🙏🏽 your family as well. 🇺🇸♥️
Hi Ron, If you had continued on passed the circle of flowers on your left, 1:14 in the video, you would of passed my 2nd great uncle and aunts gravesite located next to the road straight ahead of that circle of flowers in Lakewood Cemetery. Their headstone is a huge granite cross with the name Balestier etched on the bottom of it, right next to the road in section 5 lot 56. Thank you Ron for sharing this video, enjoyed it 😃❤️
I really enjoyed looking at Pillsbury Hill. That was some family. Thank you Ron for all that you do for us. May God Bless you and keep you safe and Well. Sandy From Maine.
I have been to this one more than once. Our family has a plot near the Phillsbury's, and when we visit this one is in full view. My grandfather is buried there, and I will never forget him telling us the Phillsbury's individual grave stones each resembled a slice of bread. He then told us that's because of all the Phillsbury flour that was used to make breads. Also, this cemetary is very peaceful, and quiet. During the Spring, and summer the birds chirp, and sing. My mother is buried there too.
HELLO 👋 RON , WERE "IN" just a beautiful cemetery 🕊🥀🙏 OH I JUST LOVE THOSE DRONE SHOTS ❤ PILLSBURY THE DOUGH PPL , I still buy Pillsbury items all the time ,, thk you CHAS A. PILLSBURY 🙏🥀🕊 the baby died the same day 😢 didn't live 😢

Hi Ron, Wow... that is one big, beautiful cemeteries I've seen ... amazing statues and monuments !!! What a very peaceful place to spend all eternity !!! Thanks for sharing... stay well & have a safe drive home.
Man I love the green in most of the cemetaries in the Midwest. My parents are buried in the veterans cemetary in Phoenix and it's lovely, but stark. And all gravel. Thank you too for the gorgeous music and drone clips!
I used to love just walking inside of that cemetery when I lived with my in-laws before we bought our current home. My husband used to like taking pictures of unique headstones etc.

My Dad's parents and Grandparents, their families, and my parents are all buried in this cemetery. Family plot full. My parents will be the last buried here. It's so beautiful, weddings are done in the chapel and engagement/wedding photos taken on the grounds.
How much better can you get? Gee this is awesome, you are so talented and if anyone is frightened by going into a cemetery ( I am not) , this is so serine, and a beautiful place to have your earthly rest.

Thank you to Mr Charles Pillsbury! I have enjoyed many of your products in my home! ❤️😋
I live near Lakewood, my mom used to walk through there with me when I was a baby in my stroller. I think thats why I love cemeteries so much!
I grew up on 40th and Colfax.
It's in your bones.
I did that in our little town cemetery with my babies too. So safe and peaceful.

I am 74; and I fell out of a durn tree I CANT fly!! lol
Isn't it wonderful?
@@robertcombs55 I tried to swing, Tarzan style, out of a weeping willow tree when I was five. I flew, instead. The flight didn't last long. 😑
