Excellent Video, I used to live over on Abbott Ave and 39th street from the 1960's to the 1980's and have only been in the Lake Wood Cemetery once in all that time and that was driving on the main road. We used to frequently use the Archery range between the cemetery and the bird sanctuary towards Lake Harriet. We were used to the jets flying over.
Yes, it is a absolutely stunning cemetery. Thank You for the walk-through. I have been there a few times but you managed to cover more ground than I ever did. The lake was known as Lake Calhoun but the name was changed back to its native name Bde Maka Ska . I hope you enjoyed your time in Minnesota, if you are still in the state I would suggest Minnehaha Falls...as long as there is water running that is . lol A must see before leaving town. Enjoy!
My eyes were going all over the place trying to take in as much as possible. They're exhausted, lol!! Lots of money in this cemetery, might explain why it's well looked after. The stonemasons did some beautiful work in their times. Really loved this Bryan, thank you. Glad you found your car......Deb of Oz.
Always enjoy these monuments, they are beautiful …..wonder why the money wasn’t donated to a better cause.
Another Great Video thank you for taking the time to make it
