Sorry it took so long to reply. Unique Models, the manufacturer of the plane that I was selling, does not seem to exist any longer. The planes could be sold under the Hookll brand through Banggood, but they don't seem to sell spares. I hope this helps a little.
Hi Matic Belimezov I have not modified the foam and placed the battery as far back as I can without interfering with the canopy arm. This does put the C of G at about 20mm from the leading edge. I am happy very happy with how it flies with the CoG set there. Take off does require a fair amount of ground speed and then a little back pressure. I have had reports back from a couple of my customers that they have modified the foam so that the battery will move further back and get the C of G to around 50mm. They are reporting that this helps take off and landing with a more nose up attitude. Hope that helps. Cheers Michael
+MAD RC I was gonna ask the same thing about the CG. I just got mine today and noticed that the instructions don't tell you where the CG is supposed to be. A valuable piece of information never to be absent from an instruction booklet on a RC plane. So do you think around 30-40mm from the leading edge of the wing will be ok? Cheers
G'day Vas, I flew mine out of the box with about 20mm. I have since moved it back a little to about 30mm. I have just watched another video of a fellow on RC Groups that had a very nice maiden at about 40mm. I am not sure why the CG is not included, it did appear as though the instructions provided had the cover removed. End of the day, this is an excellent flying plane and can handle a very nose heavy set-up. But you'll be fine with a CG anywhere between 20mm and 40mm. Cheers Michael
+MAD RC Hi! I have found it rather difficult to fly with CG so far back. Mine is almost (10-20mm) on the leading edge and plane performs best like that. Cheers
I meant to say in your other video if you really want to be sort of scale accurate the spinner is the same orange as the plane and the prop blades are grey with red and white tips... I used to work at hawker dehavilland when we were building the full size pc9a's for the raaf ....i worked on aircraft no's 008 to 036. From 35 onwards they went with the current red and white scheme..if I bought one of these and one day I certainly hope to, I would have a constant trip down memory lane ☺️..also the pc9 is actually easier to work on than cars. Thnx for the vids
cyclistpilot Yes, you are right, there are a few small details that could be altered to get this one perfect. Unfortunately for me I'm don't get a lot of say with the manufactures. I have tried to find some orange spinners, even just one for my own plane, but no good so far. Must have been awesome to work on the full scale! One of the guys I fly (RC) with also worked on the PC-9s down here at Avalon. A few years ago now... And of course, you should buy one, it flies really nice!
Do you know where to get all the parts from and build it? I didn’t get the prebuilt one I just wanna know where to get all the parts

Hi!
Where does your plane balance? Did you have to alter battery position?
Thanks!

+Matic Belimezov thanks for the input and I'd agree that the CG out of the box at 20mm works just fine. Cheers Michael
Oh p.s the whole fleet has been repainted to the current scheme so that various aircraft can be rotated through the roullettes display team.
