If you use a larger propeller due to the higher peripheral speed and the greater tilt of the propeller blade (the torque of the high-speed drill can handle it), it can fly. For this "configuration" I would choose a larger wingspan. I don't know why TH-cam offered me this stupidity to watch, nothing less, I had a good time. Bravo.
This is the perfect plane you made peter, cuz the drill makes the weight in the front to make it fly and the propeller on the drill to make it fly higher, and the adjuster to take off or land the plane...inventions you made are so COOL! Like the mini submarine and the endless flying styrofoam plane

nice, I realized something after "He can make anything fly" There are people who understand a topic well enough, that they can perform a working model from anything. As example: I can make bongo out of anything.
When milling such fragile pieces, cut in the opposite direction. ie. climb milling. The deepest part of the cut is pushing in towards the workpiece instead of pulling the thick chips out.

Human powered planes have been made. Washing machines probably weigh as much as a human with a motor as powerful as a human if not more. Batteries would be a bit of a problem. If you could cut a hole in the glass door, mount a bearing and a big propeller connected to the drum on an axle sitting out the front then spin. On second thoughts might be better to just use the motor.

Actually, a propeller is called an airscrew, like a boat's propeller is called a screw. Since the drill is turning an airscrew, but it is a drill motor, you could call it either way.
I think you were supposed to test it on something first... For calibration. A banana for, example. But if it makes it into gooey slimy green translucent substance, then it's not a cloning machine anymore...

Could you try making an M wing plane? I'd be very interested to see the viability of that design physically tested. I think it would be fun to also model a high speed plane off of the shape a falcon makes during a gliding dive. Sort of M shaped with little flaps on the edges of the peaks of the M for control

The drill is powered by the same type of motor that would normally just drive the propeller directly in a RC airplane. By flying the drill, you basically just added an unnecessary reduction gearbox and unnecessary mass (the drill body, gearbox, and chuck) to the brushless motor. It was still cool to see though, and I was surprised it actually flew that well.
Well I know I've deff seeing little wooden sets of different types of things there every now and then.... Is not all that often but they do tend to carry some decent stuff in their arts and crafts section. But you do have to shop around a bit and hit up different Dollar Trees because not all of them tend to have the same stuff. Sometimes they'll have little wooden boxes or letters and numbers that you can use to make a nice little sign for a child's room or something like that.
@@merkga Yes, they do have some unique things, and not all of the Dollar Trees carry exactly the same thing. I saw little wooden bird house in a kit form and a lot of useful plastic items. Most of them have many Betty Crocker items as well. It's one of my go to places on a regular basis.

Use clear cedar for the prop, it has no knots so it won’t split as easy and it’s light weight
You give these guys anything that has few rpm on it and they'll make it fly. No doubts!
