    To handle the jagged shadows in Eevee. Switch ESM to VSM with High bitdepth and soft shadows on. Increase the cude size from 512px to whatever your PC can handle. Cascade size is only for Sun lamps. With lights its always nice to have contact shadows on.

    for those whose bevel modifier is not working, you have extra faces on the edges. go into wireframe mode and check the edges on the top lid. they have this little dot on them. just click on it and press x and then select faces. do this to all four corners. your welcome.

Well, I'd really just like to have long, casual videos where you explore interesting things in Blender and maybe even play with some add-ons. Maybe challenge yourself to create something with some kind of limitation. Definitely go on a lot of tangents and see where they lead. Most importantly, don't try to be other Blender channels. Yours has a very distinct style that drew me in within the first minute of one of your videos. I think some of it is that your videos sprinkle on some light entertainment and comedy into what would otherwise just be educational videos about software. Really enjoying it so far, can't wait to see where it goes.

      It is an add-on you must install. If you have done that and it's still not working then yes it may be a bug

    hello derkk. you made black and whtie logos for this box. but on your Phone tutorial. Your logo is in gray. so you changed the Logo color to grey?

    • @DerekElliott
      @DerekElliott  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The map is still black I think but I'd use gray so it's different roughness value
