Excellent video like always. Always knew about the wonder swan but never knew anything about it or what kind of games were on it. This was a great overview. Great editing in this video too
Oh you gotta get one! The color units are relatively inexpensive loose, and with a backlight mod there is really no need for a more expensive swan crystal anymore
@@pixxellie yeah, I'm planning to find a color and mod the screen 👍 The FF editions are really tempting, but I might head to the ジャンク sections and find a cheap one.
Thank you for the video, love hearing about the Wonderswan. You still lots of really cool games to get hold of, Klonoa, Mega Man.exe and Line Rider are a must!
I almost picked up klonoa in japan! I ended up passing on it to get some other games instead. Mega man looks cool as well. I love the idea of Rhyme Rider but I'm terrible at rhythm games >.
Lot of good picks here! I adore the Wonderswan. Such a neat little system that found a great niche with anime titles. And the Digimon games all being able to connect to the toys! What a fun gimmick! I definitely need to pick more titles up.
thank you!!! WS is definitely a double edged sword where it's still pretty affordable to collect for in terms of the common games, but some of those rare games are soooo expensive. I really want to get the digidevice adaptor.
Wonderswan seems really cool! Btw have you ever thought about a ASMR-channel, this video gives a ASMR-vibe. You have a really nice voice for ASMR. Also the tapping on the games triggers ASMR.
i owned a wonderswan. not an amazing system but neat historical wise and the fact it ran on one battery. The only game I really enjoyed on the system was clock tower. The fact the game was black and white, added to the horror effect
@@pixxellie there isn’t a lot of “english friendly” games on wonderswan theres like 5 and they are stupid expensive lol. But the affordable ones are like the horror novels like the “terrors” series they came with earbuds for the wonderswan so you can immerse yourself in the game
This will keep you busy for awhile! It's a shame more games didn't take advantage of the tate mode. Really neat feature. So what's your next holy grail system? Meet you in the truth! ✌
There's no secret involved with the Wonderswan, especially because pretty much any game for it that doesn't require any knowledge of japanese is very expensive. This was also one of the most talked about handhelds in the TH-cam retro gaming sphere for over a decade at this point and has thousands of videos about it. Really cool collection, but just what to point out the not quite accurate video title
This is amazing. Great little collection you have here. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!!! ^_^
my biggest regret when i visited Super Potato, not buying a Final Fantasy Wonderswan
A lot of gems in the collection. Star Hearts looks so unique! THe Blue Wing Blitz artwork is out of this world

thank you!!! glad you found the video enjoyable and helpful!!
Good memories! I had one of these. I used to play Neo Geo Pocket more as i recall. Thats going back about 23 years or more
I really want a neo geo pocket!!
Never heard of wonderswan but I love the information given about it. Appreciate that very much.
thanks for watching!!!
Nice timing I'm heading to Japan in less than a week and was planning on looking for a wonderswsn 😮

@@JapanGet oh thats a good idea to save money! as long as it turns on and the buttons work! I think you can get aftermarket shells now too.
Hmmmm...maybe a collection of Wonder Swan games for modern consoles would be nice. Thanks for the show n tell 😊😊😊
Didn't know this existed. Pretty cool, especially that MSV game 👀

@@pixxellie I definitely want to pick one up, too. I've seen folks use it with the newer digital pets, which is really cool.
My favorite wonder swan color game was SD Gundam G Generation Gather beat 2.
oh ive always been tempted to try those SD gundam games!

I've never really thought of that before!
@@pixxellie try it 🙂
Weren’t they in the us for a hot nanosecond?
nope! thats the neo geo pocket!

I really want a neo geo pocket or a neo geo mvs/avs. I also want a sega cd / 32x! those are the big ones for me!
agree about the tate mode!
4:59 Idk what 'sket' means here, but here in the UK it's a pretty gross term >.>
lol oh nooooo. i think it's an abbreviation for the character's name "Skeleton T"
Digimon rpg game you have connects to the Japanese d3 and let's you trade eggs and unlock a evolution in the d3 by having you jogress a digimon
