Nice content Dick, you have a nice operation, it’s obvious you’ve held a welding stick b4👏🏻. Guys like AJ sure helps us seniors make a project better. 🇺🇸👏🏻👍🏻
It’s a great splitter Hayes. There’s a slight learning curve to using the box wedge but once you learn it you will produce a LOT of firewood in a short period with minimal physical effort.
Dick you are a man of many talents and much ingenuity! Glad to see that the grizzly bar ramp worked put for you. Awesome you have found a system that works for you!!
Awesome video you never let me down on content Clifford is just frosting on the cake keep em coming do work to hard and stay safe my friend hello Clifford your looking like a spring chicken full of energy
Hello OGF, You got some meaty looking rounds to split, yes they are tough, but the machine breaks them down well, the bar mod looks like it did the trick, Keep movin'
Glad to see that you sre really enjoying the 22-28 box wedge. Trying ti decide between this, a vertical or small processor. At 72 its working on my body, but, i really enjoy being in the woodyard!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Hi David. If you can get straight, under 14” poles the processor is the answer. The box wedge wins out for high volume production, and the vertical splitter is best for precise clean, controlled splits. It really depends on your situation.
At about 8:30 the round stands up on the return stroke. I have noticed that with my box wedge, mostly when the round is 14 inches or less. There doesn’t seem to be enough inertia to keep the round flat with the carriage and it stands it up.
Hi Brent. Thanks for watching. That happens occasionally, but I only see it with large heavy rounds. As the round pulls back and falls down off the top of the wedge, the weight of the round causes it to roll over towards the push plate. Hope you’re doing well my friend.

Hi Larry. Thanks for the comments my friend!
First rate set up! Nice haircut too, Cliffie 😊
Thanks JR. As Jose said, with warmer weather Clifford needed to “get his jacket off”… haha!
Your earlier videos convinced me to order a 22-28 and its nice to see your continued satisfaction.

Hey Dick. That is definitely the machine for the job. And the grizzly bar mod helped. I heard ya say you're building a saw mill?
Hi Kenny. I’m trying the sawmill thing. I just got a basic hobby mill from woodmizer. Still putting it together!
lol look at him pick thru that to find the perfect piece 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ha! You caught that John!

You should sharpen your cutter blades. Maybe, They'll cut instead of shred...
Hi James. I actually did sharpen them and it helps a lot.
