I’m a fan of V6 engines for those who can’t afford a V8 engine in most RWD models just enjoy it there’s tons of High Performance parts for the V6 engines if you want to step it up more
That sounds awesome! I need to get mine on that. Got a 2021 Challenger GT, same color n tinted like that. Just need to get a good exhaust on it, maybe a turbo with a cold air intake and it'll be flying and sounding beautiful.
@@SpecialEDy it’s been a pain in the ass. Trying to get the valve geometry right has been a nightmare. There is a very small gap between the lifter lash and the valve stem and it creates a lot of valve noise/tap. I tried using lash caps but it’s to much on the valves and I was getting a misfire code. The misfire was not from the tune because I adjusted the misfire codes in the tune tables. I took the lash caps off and the misfire code went away. At this point I am ready to just put the original factory cams back in my car. A couple grand wasted wish I never attempted to put these cams in. I guess if your installing heads to then it may not be as bad. Inertia told me I did not need ported heads. Wish inertia would give a little more detail on the installation before selling the cams to people.
@@Peacefuldestruc i only asked a question. See me personally im into sleepers. I had a 24.5ft 4 door dually with a 750hp 6.0L. I absolutely demolished cylinder number 1. High horsepower without proper engine build results in catastrophe. Now I'm stuck between rebuilding my 6.0 to handle 1000hp and be a daily driver OR swap the motor&tranny on my 2005 f150. Hey @DBENTS, I've spoken with you years ago about your car specifically about your cams. Is the 3.64 rear gear better to use for strip/street purposes or those 3.73 you have?
Hey whats up man i remember, if you ever want to reach out message me on instagram @srt_dbents The 3.64 was a 198mm "open" differential meaning one tire will spin and the new 3.73 i put in there is a 226mm (MUCH bigger) limited slip diff "getrag" brand unit out of a 2010 SRT Challenger. With limited slip diffs both wheels will spin, helps with traction, burnouts, etc. I killed the old differential after like 60k miles
Why did it get so loud but move so slow my v6 is quite can't even hear it run and it's got bigger injectors, cold air intake and a diablo tuner and it hauls ass on 9.1 octane
Not usually a big fan of hearing V6s fly by, but this sounds great! 👍

I just ordered cams for my 3.5 challenger from inertia Motorsports can’t wait to have them installed
How'd they turn out? I ordered the V1. 2 cams to drop into a 4.0L

Nice sound! I ended up going with the V6 Honda Accord with a 6-speed because it can keep up with a 5.7 l
Besides the cam did you have to modify the engine block for the cam swap to work.
Sounds really good for a little v6. At some points it sounds pretty close to a v8. Any dyno numbers?
