Same, fuck that v8 elitist bullshit. I've owned a few V8's in my lifetime and the 2018 V6 Challenger I have now puts out more hp than the 351 V8 I had back in the day.
Mightkill Jacksome v8 rt only puts out 375hp , sxt 2020 puts out 305hp , same top speed...
@@kaj7025 It's generally young kids and people who don't know what they're talking about that are the most disrespectful towards people who drive V6 Challengers/Chargers. Most older guys understand that these cars aren't slow by any means because they remember the days when a 350 barely pushed 300+ hp

#2 was best in my opinion. The 3.6 has a whole lot of that empty can sound to it, and the deep tone of #2 took care of most of that.

Resonator and mufflers is the same thing. Depends what term u use. But yeah he deleted the rear mufflers .

@@bertramzbertramz3824 I replaced the mid muffler with flow master super 10’s deleted the resonators and put quad tips on the back and it ran $650. Sounds good for a V6

I like the last one. Also like his wheels the best. Sounded nice and no vibrating/resonating noise with a deep tone.
Best sounding 3.6 exhaust in my opinion? Stock mid mufflers, and Blastin Bob's MF4915C3. Uses 14" oval Magnaflow mufflers. Eliminates restrictive rear resonators and the Magnaflows open up flow but keep it quiet. Best mix of flow and quiet you can get.

I agree. Most of the really bad sound on mine is 2200 and above. That last setup leaves a loud, deep idle, but takes all the bad noises out of it going down the road. It's impressive.

I got my 2018 Challenger SXT a month ago and thought the exhaust sounded a bit throaty. I decided to check today and see what my exhaust looked like. Sure enough I read the letters Borla Atak on all four mufflers. Turns out to be a cat back system! Was having a lousy day and now I feel like I just won the lottery lol 😎🙂 Nice video

Great video bro...I am getting a 2020 V6 Challenger. What do you recommend for a deep rumble/throaty sound when driving? I do not want that rice burner type of sound. Mid muffler delete? Mid muffler + rear muffler delete?
The last one was the best one but what I learned from this video is if you want a v8 sound get a v8 engine pretty much

Rear muffler deletes sounded the best
To make your v6 charger/challenger louder by a lot you need to cut the mid muffler also the resonators and do a x pipe but never cut the catalytics!
Have mine dumped after cats and it’s rowdy surprisingly not raspy or “rice” sounding which I was surprised it has a deep growl/tone

Owning both a Chrysler 3.6 in a 300S & an older Grand Prix with a 3.8 it's amazing how anemic the 3.6 sounds then some of these changes make it sound like a ricer........that last one sounded the best by far on acceleration for the win!

Magna flow was definitely the way to go on those v6.
I just traded in my 2010 V6, it was a great car. Anyway, it had a Flowmaster exhaust with extended pipes. Sounded awesome.
3.5l sounds better than the 3.6l

Dodge's 3.6 pentastar is probably one of the worst sounding v6's out there..Owned a v6 charger and it was almost comparable in sound to my mazda 6 2.5 with just borla pro xs mufflers and a res delete..My genesis coupe and the accord 3.0 i owned sounded alot better with just muffler delete's alone but gosh, these sound horrible for v6's...

We put a borla atak kit on a 3.7 mustang awhile ago. That is one of the best "off the shelf" kits for a 6 cylinder mustang in my personal opinion. I wonder what it would sound like on a 3.6 challenger?

I have 14 charger sxt. Doesn't have the x pipe or the second mid muffler. I bought the magnapacks thinking it did. You ever do just 1 magnapack? Or am I gonna need to add the xpipe and both mufflers? Definitely removing rear resonators

I have a v-6 and love it but truly if you spend that much just go for the borla exhaust. I did a lot of research and just ordered one. I wouldn’t want any of those sounds except for the one with just straight pipes out the back and keep the mid mufflers.
i agree keep the mid if hids the v6 4 banger civic sound at mid range i cut a 2"x4" hole in each stock muffler it sounds great at all rpm and has a nice bass to it

The problem I have with regular V6s is that not only are they too raspy, but they are too quiet sometimes. My AMG has a nice deep bass to it, but it’s too quiet until you put the hammer down in Sport+. Then again, I’m always blasting my music so I don’t care too much, per se.
I would recommend jinsanity mid resonators and no mufflers in back… have it on my car and it takes away the raspiness of a lot of exhaust for the v6.

I have my stock mufflers replaced with magnaflows and removed both my resonators 🙌 my v6 charger always gets complimented lol specially when out my foot down to 4th gear - that’s the sweet spot
4-5 were the best sounding, especially 5. The first 3 sound like a V6 right away. 4-5 could fool someone who wouldn't know any better.
