The Hyundai Accent 2021 is powered by a 1.6-Litre, 4-cylinder engine that produces 121 bhp and 151 Nm of torque. This engine powers the front wheels (FWD) through a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The 2021 Accent delivers a fuel economy of around 11 kmpl.
On the inside, the new Hyundai Accent comes with a 7-inch Hyundai infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The Accent still continues to be one of the best value for money subcompact cars.
What do you like/not like about the Accent?
Better than city in my opinion
In the interior department, it does fare better.
I had an accent 1.6L it was underpower and that plastic all over the cabin stinks bad. The price they are selling now is high so would suggest someone to go for honda city or yaris or sentra all theses cars are better than this.

1. Can you please tell if the gearbox is reliable for Hyundai accent?
2. Is it really Worth going & paying extra 8400 AED for Honda city?
3. Is there a big difference in maintenance cost of City and Accent? I am not much concerned about resale value.

I, honestly, do not see huge value in the Honda City compared to the Accent. City feels a little dated now and cheaped out on the inside.
As far as the gearbox on the Accent is concerned it is going to be pretty reliable and more punchy too compared to the City. The Accent also offers rear AC vents that the City completely misses.
With a new car, you will get warranty and service contract which will cover you off with any malfunctions.

Nope. It doesn't have any type of driving modes.
Im buying 2022 accent. Is that decent than 2021?

It is called as Verna in India and Accent in the UAE .
