I’d actually really love to see your in-depth pitch for a Flash game. Your time loop idea sounds pretty cool and I’m interested in seeing how you’d use Grodd and Gorilla City.
I think a flash game should be a cooking simulator where you have to run to adoption centres and quickly bring babies to a microwave kitchen. This would change superhero games.
@@SeanWheeler100 it's a joke because the flash actor Ezra Miller has been doing terrible shit and people are makeing fun of him bye saying he cooks babys
One of the few great moments from the flash post s5 was when Thawne tries to kill barry, and barry is so much faster than him that Thawne is basically in slow mo to barry. Barry dodges him easily, throwing him to the ground, and thawne screams "What did you do!" at him. Barry grins and says "I got faster. Didn't you?" and his point was basically that since thawne was just time traveling to all the important moments while barry lived through all that time, barry was just getting faster while thawne was about the same every time. It'd be super interesting if this game sorta did something like that where thawne was just showing up once a loop while barry was living through all of it, so at a certain point you've just completely outscaled him
I would love the idea of captain cold just being extremely difficult, and having his Location being about how every time you try to stop one of his plans that in turn causes another problem. Like you hear a robberies going on, see you go to stop it and you get sniped from another building. So you go and check it out before hand, but it turns out it was motion detected which set off a bomb in another location. So you go to try to disarm the bombs first but then it just alerts the goons, and so on
Yeah. I think that'd be really cool tbh. Captain Cold is underrated as hell. I was a bit hesitant when he said the rogues were gonna be the villians because Cold has been slowly ebbing closer and closer to antihero status since his inception. But If Grodd is the villian then I 100% think it could work through Mind control or something. Really cool pitch either way (No pun intended lol).
Captain Cold could work extremely well as a hard boss. His terrain would slow you down because it's so cold, which would result in you having a much slower recharge time for your abilities as a result. Or you might just be incapable of using some abilities in general. Add that onto Cold himself spamming you with waves of ice, and you've got a very unique villain.
@@MandatoryFruiteeeeeh that kinda feels like the type of idea that sounds cool but once executed is just annoying as hell ,I like the idea of more him being clever so you got to outsmart him
I can only imagine just playing the flash game and you randomly hear, "IT WAS ME BARRY!!!!" when you were busy doing some of the silliest side missions
A Flash videogame could really give audiences a new loook into why the character is such a great hero and with gameplay mechanics rhat utilises his abilities in a unique way and has great story and characterisation of the character akin to to how Insomniac nailed Spiderman. I can already imagine all the amazing boss fights they could apply to The Rouges and ither Flash villains
@@mrbobb1610whole lotta dreams a flash game would be nothing but spectacle and if it did have good gameplay It would be at the expense of flash actually being the flash
Just for the record: I'D LOVE TO HAVE SEEN A FULL-FLESHED PITCH VIDEO! I know yt forces creators to not risk making more high effort content because of how the algorithm works, but I miss those longer videos where you go in depth with your ideas!!
Gameplay ideas: -"Rescue puzzles" where you have to go slow down time Days of Future Past style to save civilians. You can't miss even a single stray bullet, or a falling piece of debris, before time speeds up again. I'm picturing something similar to the "Brain Dance" in Cyberpunk 2077, maybe you even have to do some forensic detective work to figure out, "this gas line will explode if I don't do something to stop it." -Different traversal modes. Normal running, like you would see in a 3D Sonic game. "Flash Step," which is basically just teleportation from point to point, but it's explained by him removing the inhibitions on his super speed for brief moments. And "reflex mode," which is the super speed slowdown like Sandevistan with a limited energy bar and cooldown. (I'm referencing Cyberpunk 2077 a lot because it's the closet thing to a "Flash game" right now) -For combat, you can pretty much just use Arkham style, it already features the ability to rapidly move between enemies and dodge attacks. Just make some new animations that look more appropriate for a speedster.
The best part about a Flash game is that any time there are glitches , you can present them as Thrawne taunting you. “Remember when you would see people randomly T-pose around the city? *It was me, Barry!* I was posing people at super speed to make you think you were going crazy!”
*"Remember that one time your game crashed in the middle of a boss fight? IT WAS ME BARRY!! I built a giant redstone machine in light speed so I can lag the server so much you just phase out of existence"*
I honestly think it is criminal that a daredevil game doesn’t exsist. He is a great fighter with a decent rouges gallery. He has so many amazing storylines to take ideas from. Also his powers could be so interesting in a game like imagine an investigation sequence where you you first need to taste the gun residue in the air to determine what gun killed him, then scan his body for cause of death or something. Point being it would be cool. You could make a cool parkour system as well with the staff being a grappling hook like in the show. Just typing this makes me so so sad, so many missed opportunities😢
I also would like to see a daredevil game. But what does tasting the gun residue look like in a video game format? I feel like it could easily just turn into like detective vision with like 5 different filters over it and idk if i like the sound of that
I don't think we need a Daredevil game when a whole series of Batman Arkham games exists which has the most fluid and unique freeflow combat mechanics ever.
Without any spoilers, your ideas are almost entirely the gimmick of the game Deathloop, minus super speed. Made by Arkane studios and a spiritual successor to the dishonored franchise. You are stuck in a timeloop and trying to escape it. There are 4 different map and 4 different times of day, for 14 total "zones" (there are 2 location/time combos that are inaccessible). Your goal is to take down all 7 targets in one loop in order to break it. Julianna, one of the antagonists, randomly spawns to try to stop you. You can also be "invaded" by other players playing as Julianna in online mode. Killing the main antagonists gives you magical upgrades like teleporting, turning invisible, and linking enemies together. You can also, albeit a bit later on, start saving your upgrades across loops by attending them to the timeloop itself so they persist across loops. Every other NPC in the game follows their own schedule each day, and you can change their schedules by doing certain actions. For example, you go to a location and find a building has been burned down. If you show up earlier in the day, you can destroy the power generator in the building to prevent it from burning down, and then return later to gain information that is otherwise unavailable).
To add to the in-depth concept of this Flash game-similarly to how maybe Reverse Flash might remember past encounters like the Nemesis system-what if the time loop affects all speedsters? This could mean if there are those aforementioned experimental speedsters running about, they can be 'elite' enemies that grow stronger in a similar light, which further enhances the life and interaction of the game idea.
I really liked how Lego Avengers handled speedsters, plus there's the infinite speed glitch (alter aging between two speedsters through the character selection menu) that made it all so much more fun.
I think what would be perfect for the post-game is setting a challenge for the perfect loop. Make it possible for you to be able to complete everything in one loop: all of the bosses, sidequests, "random" timed crimes, etc. But make it very difficult. The player needs to have their route planned out, certain challenges are far away from each other requiring you to be able to traverse the city efficiently, but the game makes it clear that it is possible. I always felt weird in Majora's Mask that it is unlikely that you'll solve everything in one run and to an extent its impossible (failing to do some missions opens the path to others) and I've always wished to try to plan out as close to a perfect 3 day cycle as possible, and I think this game is perfect for that.
I wasn't sure when you introduced the time loop idea, but then brought me fully on board with the whole thing about rescuing the other flash family and them freeing you up for different parts if the loop, I love that
I wanna see the Green Arrow + Green Lantern comic run turned into a game. Make it linear like Last of Us instead of open world and make good use of having two protagonists to choose from. If Spider-Man 2 does well (because it will) it could open the door for more dual main character stories in games and I think this story would work well for that.
Despite him being fairly obscure and not well known, a Moon Knight game would be fantastic as a choose your own adventure type where you would pick with alters to correlate with (Spector, Grant, Lockley, Khonshu) and the story would change depending on which alter you side with
Here's a potential plot: - Barry Allen has disappeared and Wally West must take his place and investigate the disappearance while simultaneously being taunted by Reverse Flash, and having fights with The Rogues.
Imagine an ability where barry makes speedforce doubles of himself, which would start as distractions, but after upgrades could start fighting on their own, and even shooting off lighting of their own for AOE.
A lot of people look at super hero video games and think it needs to follow the trail of the Arkham or insomniac spider-man series, when as a studying game developer for college, I find that to be extremely limiting. I believe we need to diversify superhero video games into distinct genre’s Let the flash be an action platformer like Sonic Generations for a 3D game or like Pizza Tower for a 2D Game
The thing is, with stuff like that, you don't really need to explain why there are floating platforms because it's cartoony. But with flash, you would have to explain that. (And honestly, I don't think flash would work for those sorts of things.)
I like all the points made here. My biggest wish list for it, though? A super hero game that actually looks like a comic. A stylized art style, none of that realistic shit. One, it'll look better, and the costume won't be bad like all the examples mentioned in the video. But most importantly, two, instead of using all that processing power to uselessly render every pore in a person's face, they can use that power to better the gameplay. As in, reach greater speeds, put an emphasis on the actual physics engine of the game and use the combo of speed plus physics for insane possibilities of movement, like catapulting through the air, mater shifting (clipping), or high risk but high reward usage of speedy momentum with tricky controls. It could also be used for combat. We've all seen the speedster attack of running in a circle to create a vortex, so perhaps things built on that foundation of combat mechanics capable of being played with physics props, acceleration, and weight, so instead of actually needing to, say, run to a distant bad guy within time, run to a physics prop nearby and send it flying toward the enemy, saving time when other objectives are at play. Idk, I guess these ideas mostly stem from my hatred of realistic graphics due to how much of a useless resource sink they are, yet are what all the big budge AAA games continue to strive to improve on instead of making anything actually clever with these modern machines.
I'd personally like it if a Flash game fell in suit with season 4 of the CW show, in that the main villain absorbs the powers of each minor antagonist after you defeat them. The main villain would be getting more powerful the longer you play as a result, and the final confrontation would be a true test of everything you have learned before when fighting the minor villains, since you'd have to use the knowledge you gained about their powers when fighting them individually in order to exploit their weaknesses against the main villain. However, the main antagonist would obviously be able to cover some of these weaknesses by combining powers in unique ways. Maybe there could even be a mission where you have to protect some minor villains you've previously defeated from the main threat so that they can't have their powers absorbed like in season 4 episode 13. I feel like that could be pretty neat. Also, a New Game Plus of the game could entail the Flash travelling back in time to be able to face off against the main villain before they even get the opportunity to absorb any superpowers or some such.
Maybe I'm the only one but I would really like a Green Arrow game. One where it's more based on stealth where you can use his many trick arrows (glove arrow for instant knockouts, an electric stun arrow that can do AOE, distraction arrows, a net arrow, etc.) and while it is mainly stealth you can still have cool bow centered combat when the stealth fails. If it was open world, it would be cool to use his bike to move around the city and grapple to move around rooftops. I know most people will say that it'll be too similar to the Arkham games and I get that but I think a bow and arrow-based game would be cool to play as well.
Game where you break a timeloop by defeating a bunch of bosses in a set time before the day resets. when you defeat a boss you get a powerup that helps you go through the loop faster and better, all the while a possible player controlled miniboss pops in randomly to kill you. This is literally the pitch for Deathloop and I'm totally down for that to be the flash game lmao
I was gonna mention Deathloop but couldn’t figure out a way to without going on a tangent and spoiling it all lol. I just didn’t like how that game used the time mechanic, instead of being a ticking clock like Outer Wilds or MM it advanced when you left areas and so there wasn’t that sense of urgency.
@troyoboyo17 yeah that makes sense, I agree that a ticking clock adds a lot of exciting tension. I think all the good stuff that deathloop does would make such a cool Flash game.
I think another cool villain could be the turtle. His manipulation of time using the still force could play into the time loop. Also, for the running system, I’d love a system kind of similar to web-swinging in the spider-man ps4/ps5 games, where you can just hold right trigger and go forward, but to gain more speed you can zip to places and jump in the right spots. Like maybe instead of a web zip you can launch yourself through a building to gain momentum. Or maybe you could charge up speed before running like how you can charge a jump in spider-man. But yea, I love this idea so much. I love the time loop idea, and I love the idea of combat being more focused on crowd control and saving civilians.
The idea of the time/speedforce bomb is also just a perfect way to introduce villains like Godspeed. Godspeed is one of the best modern Flash villains, and having him be the result of a similar accident to the comics is just perfect for a sequel or a DLC. Better than whatever tf the show decided to do with the character at least.
When you were talking abt the type of story and movement it reminded me of 2 games dead rising for the time mechanic on how things show up at set times and you have so long to do the main missions to stop what’s coming and prototype 2 for the movement I remember when I was younger playing prototype 2 for the first time upgrading his speed and just making him run in a straight line to go super fast something that could definitely work in a flash game
I definitely need to try it again! I think I played it like 6 months ago or something and it was just the PS+ trial thing so I only had like an hour to try it
Criterion is actually now working on the NFS games. I'm glad someone mentions car games for The Flash. Because the issue with like fan games is that turning is too quick and uncontrollable, in a car you can do a 90° turn at 300kmh, neither should the Flash. Inertia is what makes speed fun
I think an auto free running mechanic would be cool too, so like in prototype, you'd auto jump over cars and such, this could be The Flash zipping around people and cars without losing speed, could be really satisfying.
Barry Allen, Wally West, Jay Garrick, Max Mercury, Impulse, RF(Eobard), Inertia, Thinker, Captain Cold, Pied Piper, Weather Wizard, Captain Boomerang, Godspeed, Zoom, AND RF(Daniel West). Those are who I wanna see.
Love this idea! When you talked about quests being limited to certain times and days, it made me think of dead rising. It was always a fun challenge to get all the missions done and rescue everyone before the game ends. It could also utilize co-op similar to deadrising as well. I can't think of a co-op superhero game that turned out right, and it could raise the stakes if the entire flash family had to get involved to save the day.
It would be really easy in terms of power progression and combat variety. Create small tornados to fling enemies upward. Being able to disable weapons with super spead. Throwing lightning and having to do detective work.
If you look up “Propulsion game” the mechanics shown in their videos are exactly what I’d expect to see in a speedster game. I hope more people see their work, they could be the one’s that could popularize the concept
This is a great idea that should definitely be expanded on . Coming up with mechanics and interactions is good but building a story that fully encapsulates and engages with a massive audience is another beast in itself . Would love to get a longer video where you come up with those ideas in detail. Thanks for the great video and awesome content!!!
The Flash is #1 on my list of heroes who need a game, but Green Lantern and Aquaman are #2 & 3. I imagine a Green Lantern game taking place in a single solar system made up of around 5 planets. And an amphibious action game with Aquaman would be rad as hell!
As someone who’s favorite game of all time is Deathloop (I know, very unpopular opinion) this sounds like my dream game. It has a lot of the same mechanics as Feathloop with the time loop (which is slightly different from Deathloop but is still amazing), invading players (Reverse Flash in this game and Juliana in Deathloop), and the main enemies you have to defeat to continue the story (Rouges gallery in this game and visionaries in Deathloop). Adding to that with fast traversal and combat, the history of the character, and the new, unique structure that doesn’t follow superhero games is genius. Whenever I watch one of you concept of pre write videos I always hope the companies are watching as well and taking notes but this, this needs to become real.
There could be a side quest/story where he teams up with the green lantern. He could create platforms for barry and we could go full Sonic bonkers-ness with it.
Having a Reverse Flash version of the Majima Everywhere system from Yakuza would go crazy. Your getting a collectible and he just takes it from you. The player should have the ablilty to turn this off tho
Back when Saints Row IV was brand new, I always thought the superpowered traversal mechanics in the game were the closest we had to an open-world Flash game. One detail I'd really love in an open-world Flash game would be the ability to run across the top of helicopter propellers like he did at the end of The Flashpoint Paradox movie.
Of course there would be suits from Flash's appearances thought history. •Black Suit •New 52 •Rebirth •90s Flash •Flash season 1 •Flash season 2 •Flash season 3 •Flash season 4 •Flash season 5 •Flash season 6 •Flash season 7 •Flash season 8 •DCEU •DCEU Flash movie •DCEU Flash movie homemade •Animated
I really liked the reverse flash mechanic you presented in your video, it reminded me a lot of the majima everywhere mechanic in yakuza kiwami, it would be cool if thawne got stronger every few encounters and if certain abilities were locked behind beating him enough times like how yakuza did it. Great video over all
I honestly think that Hawkeye and/or black widow could make fantastic games like having Hawkeye set in Tokyo while black widow goes to east Europe (Russia, Bulgaria, hungry, Poland. Ect)
I feel like if sega could figure out how to bring the running and momentum that they had in sonic adventure then that would be the perfect formula for a flash game
I was just thinking about how a flash game would work yesterday and now I see a video on it lol. I agree that a time based mechanic is a must for a character like the flash.
I think the perfect Flash game would have you start running the city with a list of objectives, and as you're trying to complete them, you get inundated with sidequests and people to save. You have to make split second judgements as to which tasks are actually important. The ultimate feeling of never having enough time despite being the fastest in the world.
As for the gameplay. Make it similar to the GtaV quicksilver mod with the flash trails. The game will be story driven and open world (basically Insomaniac's Spider-Man). We begin the story presenting Barry Allen, his lifestyle, his routine, his job, his qualities, his flaws, his conflicts, his goals and his supporting cast. Barry gets his powers and struggles to control them which allows us to learn and unlock new abilities and improve the ones we already have. The story will be very Spider-Man like with him struggling to balance his personal and hero life, learning the responsibility that comes with having these powers, facing resistance and criticism from the news and the police, wanting to hide his secret identity to protect the ones he loves (they eventually figure it out or Barry reveals himself). Similar to the Spider-Man game we'll start with simple but cool looking moves. The running traversal will be "slow" but cool at the beginning because Barry doesn't have full control and confidence in his powers. The more we level up the faster we get and the slower everything moves around us as we run. There will be a special traversal option we can use that's basically us entering Flash Time (very similar to the GTA V Quicksilver mod). We can use it for a limited amount of time that will be visible in the heads up display but we can increase the time limit as we level up (that's my favorite feature in the game). By the time we finish the story we might be able to use it for as long as we want. We can get on Flash Time to move enemies around, make really fast attacks (imagine the Quicksilver mod + Sifu combat system), steal their weapons, interact with the city's enviroment, etc. I envision a combat system similar to Sifu and Spider-Man. Make Barry a martial artist and make him combine it with his speed. When dodging close range attacks we'll need to do it at the right time. We can quickly appear behind the enemy in a very cool looking way, we can upgrade how quickly we appear behind the enemy eventually not even seeing Barry move just a cool looking lightning and him basically teleporting behind the enemy. When dodging long range attacks like bullets we click the dodge button at the right time to do a slick, very cool looking quick side dodge with different animations and then press a button to quickly get in front of the enemy to attack. Barry will fight a handful of Metahumans throughout the story. The better we get at controlling our powers the faster the fights can end. We can also start pranking the villains in different ways to make the fights more engaging. Throw something at them at them, take him to different locations, eat or drink something in front of him as your fighting, taunt them like Spider-Man does, etc. We obviously won't be able to do all of them in a story driven boss fight though. The story will end with Barry having a good control over his powers but he hasn't mastered it yet. His power will be fully mastered and expanded throughout the course of the sequel games just like Insomaniac's Spider-Man introduces new abiities in each game. We'll eventually meet Wally West and become his mentor again just like Peter and Miles. That's my pitch for a Flash game. Let me know what you guys think. If you have any other additions or suggestions write them at the replies. Peace out.
Also since he needs to eat a high calorie intake or he won't go as fast Some side quests could be him helping people who give him food and drinks and during a slow crime day he pigs out on lots of take out
@@Chuck_ELWe can use this as an option for energy recovery but for the main one I was thinking more of a cooldown situation where the Speed Force allows you to use a limited amount of energy at a time. That will be presented as an energy bar in the heads up display. The energy will be slowly restored by the Speed Force and you can eat something to restore it more quickly. Just like in Spider-Man you can use that energy to refill your lifebar, different special attacks, combos and to use flash time.
Okay I had an idea: what if each region of the map is controlled by 2 villains at once. Each region would have 2 villains in control, both villains have powers or gimmicks that work well with each other. For instance: a region completely on fire being controlled by Heatwave and Tar Pit. Regions would probably be tied to a chapter of the story(but you could still face them in any order you want) so these would be called: Inferno: Heatwave and Tar Pit Smoke & Mirrors: Mirror Master and Abracadabra Child’s Play: Trickster and the Top Snowstorm: Captain Cold and Weather Wizard
I would really like to see you do full on pitches for superhero video games. This video was awesome but I would love to see more in depth stories like you do for pre writes.
I have a clear idea of What i want for a Flash game. The Story Is centred around Wally at his final year at Central City University, he's not Kid Flash for a copule of years. After Barry Allen have sacrificed himself for save the city from the Reverse Flash he decide to take the mantle of The Flash and trying to live up to his successor. The main villain Is Godspeed but we have other villains too such as Captain Cold, Heatwave, Mirror Master, Trickster, Captain Boomerang, Abra Kadabra and Weather Wizard and It have similari mechanics to Spider-man PS4 The DLC would be and Adventure with Nightwing where Wally and Dick are trying stop Golden Glider and Top that are trying to do a bank robbery and here you can play both characters or switch to one character to another like in the Spider-Man sequel. The costumes aviable were: -Silver and Red costume -New Earth costume (he will wear this for the majority of the game before changing It with the First One in the finale battle) -Kid Flash costume -Dr Manhattan Flash costume (you can use powers of Doctor Manhattan like teleportatation) -Kingdom Come costume (you can duplicate yourself) -Speed Force costume (extra speed) -the CW costume -DCAU costume -Young Justice costume (you can use stealth mode during the missions like in the TV show or the Noir costume in PS4)
I would love for the game to lean into non-Euclidean geometry while running super fast to differentiate the feeling from other games. They could even have a section like in TF2 where he has to fight in different times. Having a mission be like Deathloop would be awesome as well. So many possibilities! Here’s an example of what running like the flash would really look like: th-cam.com/video/5XmJrQdsqyQ/w-d-xo.html
7:54 I would say if you wanted to use this system I would take inspiration from the game Deathloop. In that game along with having to kill various people occasionally throughout the loop a character named Juliana will appear who is either an NPC or can be controlled by another player and when she appears she locks down the loop until you can either kill her or unjam your exits. In fact you could take a lot of inspiration from Deathloop because in deathloop the loop is split into 4 sections and you have to slowly take down each of the 7 bad guys across those different sections and I could see this game theoretically working that way in regards to the rogues.
6:04 I think the CW Season 4, 6, and 8 suits would like to introduce themselves (but still I agree, just make the suit normal, like in KtJL, it’s like Wonder Woman looked fine and Superman, Batman, and GL look great but what happened with Flash)
I think that in order to unlock the final boss you should have to go through a whole time cycle without letting a single citizen die. You'd have to get collectibles and abilities by doing side quests and defeating bad guys but you also have to investigate every corner of the map and every NPC and make note of where everyone will be kind of like Majora's Mask but cranked up to 11. And if you're good enough, you can reach the final boss super early and can get some extra cosmetic stuff, but as you collect more collectibles and defeat more rogues it gets easier and easier to do a perfect run. And there would have to many ways to do a perfect run, too, so there's always a unique way to approach the game.
This is honetly just Deathloop featuring the Flash. The looping day. The Reverse Flash randomly appearing each loop (with another player controlling them). The bosses at different spots that you can face in any order. Deathloop is such a good game, that this is genuinely the best fan pitch that i have ever heard for a Flash game. And with the ability to fight the main boss as soon as you know the location, this gets better. And using the other speedsters like the divine beasts from Breath Of The Wild is also great. The more I think about it, the more i love this idea. You're an absolute genius.
Great pitch! Maybe it'd be cool if during the story other speedsters have side quests that unlock them being able to take down a rouge you've already beaten in case you don't wanna fight that specific rouge again. Once the story is down that could unlock the rest of the side quests for civilizations and stuff, as like a "I've spent so much time doing this I should get back to helping the people"
I would love this and would buy it no matter what. I like the story you pitched and I think you take down a rouge at the next loop the time is longer and that rouge isn’t there anymore. But, it should be slightly difficult to find and defeat each one and slightly easier assuming you would have good idea of when and how you would use new abilities you get.
You know i could totally see Eobard doing the same thing as Taskmaster from marvel's spiderman. And i don't mean the side quests thing with all of the challenges. I mean that he could just pop outta nowhere and be like "hey i'm gonna fight you and stop your progress bc i HATE YOU!" And then he would fight you and just like taskmaster he could have the main characters moveset which would make sense bc Thawne studied the flash for years and he could have the same finishers. And that you can't leave the fight bc he'll superspeed towards you.
I'd love it if you could utilize the physics, run so fast you cause the air to push enemies away, and instead of nerfing Flash, I hope they make the game AROUND him
Hello troyoboyo i have great ideas for a flash Videgame I have also written the story of the game, both you and I could do something with a game based on an arkhamverse flash
I’ve always thought that superheroes were really suited for video games, because video game franchises are often known for their longevity and reliance on storytelling formulas-just like comic books. Besides, what’s more exciting: watching a superhero on screen, or BEING a superhero?
I’m gonna be honest my favorite live action suit was the one from justice league, not the flash movie. Either that or the season 2 flash costume from the cw show.
I have an idea for a story, it should be based on a Flash Family story: One minute war. Basically alien invasion is using the speed force and using any super hero with super speed as a battery so the ENTIRE flash family needs to stop them and the entire story took place IN ONE MINUTE While either it’s black hole or Thawne teaming up for a new warfare on central city or alien invasion I love this story because it’s full on flash family everyone’s there and ITS NOT FLASHPOINT The environment is bright but uncomfortable due to there is life but you’re moving so fast they’re statues

I think a flash game should be a cooking simulator where you have to run to adoption centres and quickly bring babies to a microwave kitchen. This would change superhero games.

Needs Reverse Flash taunting Barry for the entire game, and when the player is leveled up high enough, then he can catch him.
So you go to try to disarm the bombs first but then it just alerts the goons, and so on
i love this, captain cold is a very cool character
Having it be kinda an immersive sim section would be cool

Just for the record: I'D LOVE TO HAVE SEEN A FULL-FLESHED PITCH VIDEO! I know yt forces creators to not risk making more high effort content because of how the algorithm works, but I miss those longer videos where you go in depth with your ideas!!
Gameplay ideas:
-"Rescue puzzles" where you have to go slow down time Days of Future Past style to save civilians. You can't miss even a single stray bullet, or a falling piece of debris, before time speeds up again. I'm picturing something similar to the "Brain Dance" in Cyberpunk 2077, maybe you even have to do some forensic detective work to figure out, "this gas line will explode if I don't do something to stop it."
-Different traversal modes. (I'm referencing Cyberpunk 2077 a lot because it's the closet thing to a "Flash game" right now)
-For combat, you can pretty much just use Arkham style, it already features the ability to rapidly move between enemies and dodge attacks. Just make some new animations that look more appropriate for a speedster.
Infamous: First Light is by far the best game I’ve seen at incorporating super speed. The Flash could really build off of that
I wish they’d do a PC port like they’re doing with some of the more recent games.
Excuse me, Mr. Boyo, but I, as a member of your audience, would very much want to see a full pitch of a Flash game story.
Same
The best part about a Flash game is that any time there are glitches , you can present them as Thrawne taunting you.
“Remember when you would see people randomly T-pose around the city? *It was me, Barry!* I was posing people at super speed to make you think you were going crazy!”
😂😂😂
I feel like it could easily just turn into like detective vision with like 5 different filters over it and idk if i like the sound of that
How would blindness be incorporated in a videogame?
I don't think we need a Daredevil game when a whole series of Batman Arkham games exists which has the most fluid and unique freeflow combat mechanics ever.

@rishabhmenaria7093 nah a game would fr be a great way to flesh out the world
@@rishabhmenaria7093 Most people nowadays do play games.
Playing as the Flash in Lego Batman 2 was really fun, it's probably one of the best examples of what a possible open world Flash game might look like.
Despite him being fairly obscure and not well known, a Moon Knight game would be fantastic as a choose your own adventure type where you would pick with alters to correlate with (Spector, Grant, Lockley, Khonshu) and the story would change depending on which alter you side with
Here's a potential plot:
- Barry Allen has disappeared and Wally West must take his place and investigate the disappearance while simultaneously being taunted by Reverse Flash, and having fights with The Rogues.
Or what if it's the reverse, so Barry's forensics work could come in?
Imagine an ability where barry makes speedforce doubles of himself, which would start as distractions, but after upgrades could start fighting on their own, and even shooting off lighting of their own for AOE.
Like Godspeed
I really love the idea of specifically doing a speedrun of a game about the flash
Flash wit Sonic Frontiers combat would be fire
A lot of people look at super hero video games and think it needs to follow the trail of the Arkham or insomniac spider-man series, when as a studying game developer for college, I find that to be extremely limiting.
I believe we need to diversify superhero video games into distinct genre’s
Let the flash be an action platformer like Sonic Generations for a 3D game or like Pizza Tower for a 2D Game
The thing is, with stuff like that, you don't really need to explain why there are floating platforms because it's cartoony. But with flash, you would have to explain that. (And honestly, I don't think flash would work for those sorts of things.)
@@keelanbarron928 here’s the explanation for why the flash is in a platformer: it’s a fucking video game, have fun
SPIDER-VERSE STYLE "THE FLASH" GAME!!!
4:29 *The Sonic fandom slowly puts down their pitchforks* (Game's actually nutty now with the free updates that keep tweaking speed and movement)
I definitely need to try it again! I think I played it like 6 months ago or something and it was just the PS+ trial thing so I only had like an hour to try it
6 MONTHS!?
Criterion is actually now working on the NFS games. I'm glad someone mentions car games for The Flash. Because the issue with like fan games is that turning is too quick and uncontrollable, in a car you can do a 90° turn at 300kmh, neither should the Flash. Inertia is what makes speed fun
Reverse flash being the “I’m you but stronger” boss archetype is really cool
I think an auto free running mechanic would be cool too, so like in prototype, you'd auto jump over cars and such, this could be The Flash zipping around people and cars without losing speed, could be really satisfying.
This is such an interesting pitch! I love the incorporation of Flash’s speed as well as the Majora Mask style ticking bomb
Barry Allen, Wally West, Jay Garrick, Max Mercury, Impulse, RF(Eobard), Inertia, Thinker, Captain Cold, Pied Piper, Weather Wizard, Captain Boomerang, Godspeed, Zoom, AND RF(Daniel West). Those are who I wanna see.
None of you guys have played Jet Set Radio and it *shows*.
A Jet Set Radio style Flash game would be the sickest thing in the world
Should any big game's developer cite anything for inspiration, it's definitely *that* game!
The Groundhog/Majora format is INGENIOUS (and in retrospect kinda obvious)
6:10 Bro i love every single suits here
Love this idea!

At first I was skeptical but you convinced me by the end.
Peace out.
Also since he needs to eat a high calorie intake or he won't go as fast
Some side quests could be him helping people who give him food and drinks and during a slow crime day he pigs out on lots of take out
@@Chuck_ELWe can use this as an option for energy recovery but for the main one I was thinking more of a cooldown situation where the Speed Force allows you to use a limited amount of energy at a time.
Regions would probably be tied to a chapter of the story(but you could still face them in any order you want) so these would be called:
Inferno: Heatwave and Tar Pit
Smoke & Mirrors: Mirror Master and Abracadabra
Child’s Play: Trickster and the Top
Snowstorm: Captain Cold and Weather Wizard

I would really like to see you do full on pitches for superhero video games. This video was awesome but I would love to see more in depth stories like you do for pre writes.
It would be cool if when you’re at very low health the Black Flash can be seen in the background watching you.
The main villain Is Godspeed but we have other villains too such as Captain Cold, Heatwave, Mirror Master, Trickster, Captain Boomerang, Abra Kadabra and Weather Wizard and It have similari mechanics to Spider-man PS4
The DLC would be and Adventure with Nightwing where Wally and Dick are trying stop Golden Glider and Top that are trying to do a bank robbery and here you can play both characters or switch to one character to another like in the Spider-Man sequel.
The costumes aviable were:
-Silver and Red costume
-New Earth costume (he will wear this for the majority of the game before changing It with the First One in the finale battle)
-Kid Flash costume
-Dr Manhattan Flash costume (you can use powers of Doctor Manhattan like teleportatation)
-Kingdom Come costume (you can duplicate yourself)
-Speed Force costume (extra speed)
-the CW costume
-DCAU costume
-Young Justice costume (you can use stealth mode during the missions like in the TV show or the Noir costume in PS4)
3:43 that sounds like Sonic unleashed and Sonic generations (Ok most 3d sonic gmaes tbh)
a john constantine game similar to the wolf among us would be really cool
I would love for the game to lean into non-Euclidean geometry while running super fast to differentiate the feeling from other games. They could even have a section like in TF2 where he has to fight in different times. Having a mission be like Deathloop would be awesome as well. So many possibilities!
Here’s an example of what running like the flash would really look like: th-cam.com/video/5XmJrQdsqyQ/w-d-xo.html
8:03 this happens in watch dogs where someone can just invade your session and you have to find him before he steals your data
I would love this troy like i feel like this is a game we actually deserve. I hope one day we get it.
There’s a gorilla in the new episode of My Adventures With Superman and he’s amazing
O thank u for reminding me I forgot a new episode came out
Imagine the enemies moving superslow like in Superhot but you move at normal speed.
Are we all gonna casually ignore Adobe "Flash" logo in the background
5:55 “the one decent movie suit and the two horrible ones…” lol couldn’t agree more
6:04 I think the CW Season 4, 6, and 8 suits would like to introduce themselves (but still I agree, just make the suit normal, like in KtJL, it’s like Wonder Woman looked fine and Superman, Batman, and GL look great but what happened with Flash)
This sounds almost perfect! I especially love the idea of Gorilla Grodd being the final boss instead of Reverse Flash.
Thank you, it feels is so good to hear someone say the exact same things I've said for so long
Someone hire this man the fighting mechanics would be perfect and the time loop feature is chefs kiss
I would love to see a pitch video for this idea personally
Majora's Mask but it's Flash is not a pitch I was expecting but I am here for it!
New interactive flash game controller: a treadmill
I’ve always thought that superheroes were really suited for video games, because video game franchises are often known for their longevity and reliance on storytelling formulas-just like comic books. Besides, what’s more exciting: watching a superhero on screen, or BEING a superhero?
I’m gonna be honest my favorite live action suit was the one from justice league, not the flash movie. Either that or the season 2 flash costume from the cw show.
I have an idea for a story, it should be based on a Flash Family story: One minute war.
Basically alien invasion is using the speed force and using any super hero with super speed as a battery so the ENTIRE flash family needs to stop them and the entire story took place IN ONE MINUTE
While either it’s black hole or Thawne teaming up for a new warfare on central city or alien invasion I love this story because it’s full on flash family everyone’s there and ITS NOT FLASHPOINT
The environment is bright but uncomfortable due to there is life but you’re moving so fast they’re statues
