  • The Canon M50 doesn't have 120 frames per second at 1080p, but with this Adobe Premiere tutorial on Optical Flow, you can slow your own 1080p footage down to 120fps OR MORE with any camera that can shoot at 60 frames per second.

    Could you do this in Final Cut?

    • @DrezRZ
      @DrezRZ 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can it’s just a different process of slowing down the footage and finding the optical flow option due to the difference in layout. But yes this works exactly the same in Final Cut Pro

  • @AJBAdventures
    @AJBAdventures 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Makes me want to get the m50 even more! But I wonder if this optical flow can be done on other editing software? I use video pad at the moment.

      @MichaelStent  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man! Thanks! I know Final Cut has optical flow, and davinci resolve has some slowing software. Not sure about video pad. Maybe try learning davinci resolve 16 if you're up for it. It's free!

    thanks for the video and I immediately caught the 720 resolution even though it was at a higher, smoother fps yet I couldn't get used to the lowered resolution of the 720. You know what, though. I wouldn't have caught any of it if I wasn't given the information in the first few minutes of the video. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to notice it at first glance. Thank you again for the in depth difference. It makes my decision that much easier
