Wow 😳! 0-60 just crazy - and points to why EVs are the automotive future. Fit, finish & charging station infrastructure will follow - pretty durned exciting! Thanks for posting this great review 😎
I had a Model 3 Performance up until a week ago. Now have an S Performance Raven, and it's a whole other level. The torque of the S is overwhelming compared to the 3. It's an incredible experience.
@airgunningyup For just driving regularly, the air suspension on the S is much better. As for acceleration when the S is moving, yes it is still noticeably faster. The 3 would not ever feel like the tires are breaking loose at 30 mph. In the S, the tires feel like they are starting to break loose at 30 mph and even 40 mph. Above 60 mph, the difference is even more dramatic, and the difference keeps getting greater as you go faster. I will say this. I like all of the user interface more with the 3. The S doesn't have car wash mode. My version of the S doesn't have light show. This S doesn't have the turn signal cameras on the display. These may be trivial issues, but I liked them on the 3.
Sorry to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any assistance you can offer me.
@Avery Salvador thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I love the 2020 Tesla model S Performance, it’s very nice and very fast!! I love Tesla! I can’t wait to see the refresh model S! Best review of all times!!!
Give me a Toyota sports performance EV.. however, Tesla has definitely set the standard for performance. Another however.. Toyota has set the standard for reliability, dependability, fit and finish.
That’s why toyota/Lexus have been taking their time with putting out an EV as they want it bullet proof. Also why they’ve partnered with Panasonic for their Solid State Battery tech so unlike the lithium ion batteries in Tesla and other EVs that when they combust they burn for days, instead these won’t have that effect. Not only that they will be denser so more range and less degradation over time. Was a battery/electrical engineer and build concept battery packs for aerospace, Microsoft, google concepts so I’ve been around a wide array of battery engineering.
Toyota is behind. Way behind. You can claim that they’re just being conservative and safe. But the reality is, they are just not innovative at all. Innovation takes risk, which is kyrptonite for Toyota. There aren’t many Toyota “firsts” in automotive history, and for that reason, I have very little respect for them as a company. Tesla and Toyota are nearly polar opposites in terms of innovation and technology.
I feel like Toyota won’t meet the Tesla in performance or come close. Reliability and build quality most definitely, but most Tesla buyers aren’t keeping a car for 10 plus years or care about that stuff. Technology wise Tesla winning. Desirability I’m going say Tesla.
Thanks for the review guys, This Tesla modal S is a súper duper fast and furious and sportiness electric sedan, as always guys, take care and Keep up the great reviews.😁😁👍❤
For a vehicle designed for the 2013 model-year, it has aged amazingly well. The design is frankly timeless, which could be the reason Tesla has been slow to make a replacement. And obviously, the performance of this thing is, well, ludicrous. That said, one thing that Tesla has struggled with on this car since its been out is build quality and offering the true luxury experience. Ill-fitting interior components, brittle ride quality, and poor NVH controls are unacceptable for this price point. The car is beautiful, but Tesla must sweat the details.
I think people forget how revolutinary the original Model S was. If it wasn’t for that car then we wouldn’t have any of the EVs like Audi e-tron, Porsche Taycan etc.
Why these seconds are so important .. Was this car made for Formula 1 racing? Where is it really possible to use it in urban conditions? The car should be first of all camphor and comfortable and then everything else.
Interesting car, but even on this video I detect some dreadful fit and finish issues around the headlights and mudguards. That does not inspire confidence. The interior looks seriously low budget. It's a fast trash bucket and they make You pay for it. Excellent sound system? You is funny! At least You can scrape Your brain off the rear window when You do Your performance launch at a traffic light to impress Your date.
@@PULLEY08 Taycan Turbo S is superior to this car in literally every way especially in terms of build quality and interior. I've NEVER hit a 2.4 on this lmao And the brakes are bad (Plaid is better now)
@@danielmiller9012 i totally agree about the brakes, they are horrible. And I completely agree about build quality of Porsche. But i can buy almost 3 S performance teslas for one Porsche. So for me the very most important thing is value. oIf I’m shopping for Porsche, there is only one option and that’s a turbo S. At that price point, I’m looking at something a little more special. Tesla is practical, Porsche isn’t there yet.
For my favorite tesla I would go the model s it looks so good and the interior is one of my best interior in the class!
OMG!! I didn’t expect to see this already!!
This is the old version...
This Tesla goes hard! I need a neck brace after watching those insane accelerations 😁🤭
That wood just doesn't look right on the dash. Makes it look like a 1970s station wagon. Other than that, that thing is pretty sweet!
I agree, carbon better

Something about the legacy model S is so classy. I hope to own one some day.
2.4s I def will be checking the back side of my pants for brown stains lol

Acceleration is always useful. E.g. to accelerate out of dangerous situations.
Seriously! It might be fast and fun to drive, but definitely not worth the price!
LOL those coupons
But this isn't the newest model is it. 🤷♂️
It's not a sedan, it's a hatchback coupe.
NYC car
Is it just me or does this Model S looks like a Nissan Maxima?
Never said the year of the car.
A $15,000 Hyundai wouldn’t have a sliding console door that wobbles in its tracks like that.
