Can't argue with extra performance from a software update. Tesla's vehicles are giving us a look into the future for performance vehicles. It's just unbelievable a car that heavy can accelerate like that.
yes those cars are heavy due to the battery, the battery also provides the grip to the car when launching, normal cars are very light and have sometimes issues putting the power down thats why the porsche 911 with the rear engine can correct that a little
Luv me some pistons, turbos, gasoline, burnouts and growling V8s more than any EV. Guess I'm old school. But I have to admit, this is crazy acceleration! Love your projects and your channel.
Your at the stoplight and the Corvette beside you wants to run. Tesla owner says “I need 5 minutes for the batteries to warm up”. It’s a 10 sec car after you wait 5 min for the warming.

I have the same 2020 Model S Performance with Ludicrou+. You should be able to produce slightly better numbers if you have stickier tires and a prepped surface. It reduces power when the tires slip. If you turn on "Slip Start" mode and launch it, the tires will spin/squeal which tells us that it normally is reducing power at launch with "Slip Start" turned off. Slip Start is the traction control setting and it can not be turned on in Ludicrous+ but it can be turned on in Ludicrous mode.
