Not nearly enough people understand how absolutely insane it is that this engine made 1900 wheel horsepower on a stock block, pistons, and crank. What an absolute TANK of an engine
I rode in a 500+whp NA Miata earlier this year which was an insane mix of genuine speed + sketchy. It easily outran a stock R8 V10. Adding another 2,000 horsepower to the car we outran sounds downright insane.
Blown away. Thought we saw the pinnacle of late model hp wiht the C6z06 vette. This car makes NO sense to me at all I love it! One ride and id wanna kick my fenders in lol
My days 500-800hp is crazy enough…no power sterring no ac sweating like hell waiting to drag lol..now days standard factory 400-600 hp and got ac on it lol

This car answers what I thought was an impossible question. How fast is too fast? Here it is. This is too fast. Seriously though. It's amazing how this is put together. Even with those drag tires and the tuning, I'm still surprised that the tires don't lose traction.
These cars are just insane platforms for power. Reminds me of the Dodge Viper GTS/ACR but with the dual clutch transmission the gear shifts allow this thing to control the power much easier than the 6 speed and plus the Audi V10 is more beautiful sounding than the tractor sounds of the Viper
It’s because it had motec boost by gear and traction control. 99% of the really high hp street cars use it. It can even make a 2500whp rwd viper hook on the street on a 17 inch rim😎

That when he was at 830 rwhp. I can remember helping him tune it on the country roads. Talking about inhaling massive stretches of road very quickly. What a rush and it can get scary. He took a couple friends for a ride on the street. Scared the hell out of all but one. He didnt even really get on it all the way either. Its not for everyone. I attached a video of my brothers TA hitting 938 rwhp on the dyno. I cant even imagine riding in a car with 1800 plus hp at the wheels ... There is car building geniuses with limited budget and rich guys who just buy lambo/ferrari etc and tune them by shop. This guy pretty much bought R8, made it a monster and even had time to focus on something like those seat with custom oem like diamond stitching. With money you can do anything, but the attention to detail and not half assing anything is what makes me take my hat off.
Built GTRs are so insane to witness they're such monsters with the AWD and DCT and then the VR38DETT in the GTR doesn't get enough praise as a direct successor to the RB26DETT. It's truly a better motor way more capable of power than the old Skylines

People comparing this to a Bugatti capable of 304mph, and this only doing 230mph... at 4:28 he says 230mph in a HALF MILE roll race, not a top speed run like the Bugatti did. This R8 making double the power would destroy any Bugatti. Also, the Bugatti needs MILES of runway to do the top speed, AND the R8 was NOT engineered to do 300+ mph, but the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is designed and engineered FROM FACTORY to run 300mph. So this R8 at this power level can hit 300+ mph way before the Bugatti can.
It's all fun and games until you get the repair or service bill. Plus, people buying a Bugatti are stupid rich. They don't want to drive 3000 BHP and die.

A Chiron can easily reach 417 Kph in the autobahn and you barely will hear the noise of the tires, the wind and the motor, like being sit in a comfy sofa from a luxury mansion. This instead is very noisy (albeit not as extreme as a AMG One, Aston Martin Varlkyrie, GMA T50, CZinger 21C...), and for a fraction of what costs a Bugatti or a Koeningsegg you get a performance which is extreme, but not as refined. I like the car a lot, but I would add that this seems too focused in the straight line performance, there's plenty of cars with much less power that will absolutely slain this one in a track race.
