- On a very special balcony edition of Chopping samples kick back with me and pour up as we sip an IPA and chop up some good old soul. Shoutout to @Bombizzle74 for the sample, @mpchead for the drum pack and @montaukbrewco.1532 for the beer, cheers

Less is more 👌
Yahoo! Hat is goated
Lol thank you bro I used to sell vintage clothes years ago so I believe this one is just one that never sold
Fantastic atmosphere.
Will there be more "Chopping Samples" episodes featuring the PO-33?
Yes bro absolutely !!! I find it slightly hard to film sometimes where it’s not just an extended shot of my forearm or hands 🤣 But I do plan on filming some more videos with it, it’s been too long
i love you bird boss
Thank you so much, sending much love back 🖤
Bro you a real one. What a vibe fr!
Thanks bro appreciate it, I have another in the stash so won’t be too long before another video
The beat gods qued the sirens in nicely. Good job on the video edit as well. BB
Thanks man tbh the ambulances are toooo much it’s one company in particular that for no reason is like twice as loud as everyone else 🤣
Love how the sample came out. I need to buy new sample packs my self. Been using the ugly face breaks vol 1.
Thanks bro honestly ugly face breaks sort of all you need lol maybe an 808s type drum kit for more contemporary hiphop but I try to not have tooooo many drums on hand
@@BirdBoss I feel you on that one yea. And you welcome.
Diggin the Birdhouse vibes in the banner
Thanks bro wish my man that did the edit was on YT but it’s clean

Really dope beat. What where you drinking bro?
Thank you bro it was a Wavechaser IPA from Montauk brewing excellent
@@BirdBoss Cheers 🍻! That was well deserved. Keep those excellent vids and sick beats coming!
Bro where do you get your samples from?
Check out my video on how I sample off Spotify, same techniques also work for sampling from TH-cam. An easy answer is search on TH-cam “Soul 45 mix” and go down the rabbit hole. I also sample off vinyl and for that a big thing is just the cover speaking to me
@@BirdBoss thanks man, apprecciate your answer
Check out the account Lo G I believe it’s tagged in the video description they post great samples to use
Can I have samples pack please
Hey sorry I bought it but it was like $20 for thousands of drums
Yo bro do you sell beats from koala? If so, how?
All I can say is find your people. Find artists you genuinely find interesting, not so big that you can’t actually reach them via dm, and reach out and attempt to connect in a real way. Build relationships with these people, send music back and forth and long term you’re setting yourself up. Going from beat to beat sale is a LONG grind better off actually building something with people and as you all grow, the attention brings $$ opportunities. Work an easy, creative job to fund your art so you don’t have to rely on sales for income.
Use something like docusign to make the paper work easy and legal, and that way you don’t have an artist wanting 50 revisions of a beat, you can put it in writing like you get 3 revisions max.
And don’t be afraid to shoot your shot, someone gives you interest in something you made don’t be afraid to start stupid high, you can always lower the price and you never know they may just say yes especially if it’s attached in any way shape or form to film, television, someone who has a label deal in place with an actual budget, etc
@@BirdBoss thanks bro! I appreciate you. And so you just upload the music to like Dropbox or something? Or are you sending music via text? I didn’t know if koala produced a different type of file than the industry norm. If that makes sense
@lordrassoull6216 yeah you can export the song itself and send it as a wav, or you can also export it as an Ableton set which will give them your drums, bass, sample, and anything else you used to mess around with in Ableton. Or you can manually mute everything except bass, everything except sample, everything except drums and export it and make your own stems. You send that to the artist and their engineer can put it back together so they can mix your beat with their vocals. There’s several ways to go about it
@@BirdBoss man you’re the fuckin goat bro! I started making beats on koala in April, and I’m giving myself a year of grinding every day before I start selling them. Your channel has been nothing short of a blessing my g. When I make it, im definitely sending you some bread. I’m broke as shit rn lol
@lordrassoull6216 hey bro congrats all the best of luck im rooting for you just compare yourself to yourself and you won’t ever ever fail
