I honestly had no idea my '94 had the same CCRM as all those other years. Great info as always!

I have a 99 3.8 - last summer had to have my CCRM replaced due to the AC/fan not engaging. This was after replacing 2 AC compressors and the actual fan. But hey, at least all those parts are new now, and that is the "silver lining" I'm hanging on to. I am seeing on a lot of the groups I'm in on FB that others are having the same issue I was having with mine before it finally went out. Thanks Landan!

I had the fuel pump relay in the ccrm fail on an 01 3.8 car about 8 years ago. It was a nightmare trying to figure what went wrong, thank the lord for forums lol.

Yeah, the forums are a good source of info. Luckily, most of them are still around to reference. -Landan

What were the symptoms of the fuel pump relay failure? I think I might have something similar going on with my car.

@@brianspangler3771 Thought the fuel pump had went out for like the 3rd time in 6 months, changed it out, car absolutely would not start. Listened for the fuel pump and discovered it wasn't kicking on, checked to see if it was getting power and it wasn't. Dug around on forums and found out about the ccrm, went to Oreilly's and got one, changed it out and it ran fine ever since.

Very common on early to mid 90’s Ford vehicles. Especially the 3.8’s. Replaced a lot of them but most common problems was broken wires at the connector. Usually identified by the large single letter on the front.

I have a 95 mustang with the Megasquirt 2 PNP Gen 2. I wonder how i can get the WOT A/C CUTOFF, function to work with it. I broke a perfectly good A/C compressor doing wot pulls during tuning with the A/C on.

It should be a gound trigger, but I only know it for 1996, a pink/yellow wire or maybe just pink. Could use a lever type switch mounted to the accelerator.

@@cobrajeff96 i Believe it's the same wire (white/pink) for me too. The PNP can be programmed to cut off the AC at a TPS percentage. What i have to figure out is how to move that white/pink to the computers option harness and then i can program it.
