He speaks (mostly) in Iambic Septameter-similar to the Iambic Pentameter used in a lot of classical epic poems, but with seven beats/emphasized syllables per line instead of five (because Bungie loves the number seven). For example, count the capitalized words/syllables here:

In addition to fighting through waves of flood not being infected by any blood/spores/physical attacks as has been established to infect almost every other species, including for the forerunners. As well as in the explanation for Johnson's plasma grenade related jumbled nervous system along with the Orion augments, came before the graphic novel (2006 vs first strike in 2003) which established the retcon. Instead of wanting him to make him a badass for surviving a process and engagement he should not have and the passed on benefits allowing him to survive being his reward, and made him just a standard marine only more badass. Much more lackluster, and makes Chief's reason to not hand over all flood data, have no weight whatsoever or make sense.
And while there is no true immunity like you said, some species are highly resistant to infection and some are theorized at not being able to be infected at all, for example the Lekgolo worms that make up the hunters.

The armor is looks first, with second grade tech fitted because its wearer is meant to eventually succumb on the field of battle.

His presence is likely ordered by the Prophets to document the success or failure of the Arbiter, so the Prophets can decide if/when to have Tartarus dispose of the Arbiter. This Arbiter survived all the way till the Elites were excommunicated, if that wasn't to pass, he likely would have served at least a few more suicidal missions before the order is given to Tartarus to execute him.

You touched on it a little, but I legitimately think Halo 2 had the best music in all of Halo. It's just incredibly creative and catchy. Even the slow parts of the game have phenomenal music.
I was one of those people btw who didn't like Arbiter when he was first added, and I've significantly revised my opinion since that first playthrough.
I also want to say, and this might be unpopular, I'm glad they cut the Warthog run. Every Halo game ending with a Warthog run would've made it feel stale. It made the Halo 3 run much better. It also makes up for the fact that, frankly, I think Halo 2 has the highest ratio of bad/mediocre maps of the old Halo trilogy.

That being said though, I want you to know that I enjoyed your take on this in multiple ways. Seeing this game through the eyes of someone trying to see the good in it via the remakes, and modern updates (such as the music) was so refreshing to me, and it was beautiful to see "not another Halo video" that was clouded with nostalgia, but one that showcased the things that TRULY made this game stick out above the rest.

Halo 2 has an amazing story; really the only complaint I have about it is that some important story moments are missable because they happen during gameplay instead of during a cutscene. The prime example that I can think of is when you're fighting through High Charity, and In Amber Clad slips inside the city. That's when you realize that the Flood has taken over the ship and is infecting High Charity, and the Gravemind has betrayed you. But you could easily miss it if you're distracted by something else going on.
