When I was in middle school we made decks out of playing cards glued together in the shape. tech decks we’re still a few years out you have some really nice ones you were a very creative kid
When teh glove came alive. The lines on it looked like a face all except the middle one. It looks like a cartoon character. You did good. I saw the commercial once.
I honestly love animation. There's so much creativity, and days to years of work, and patience to make a 30 second animation. But taking one simple figure or line making it come to life on some little paper amazes me, respect.
Wow this is AWESOME!!! I was literally just telling my little brother about tech decks the other day and how much I used to love them! He was so fascinated so I said I'd buy some for his birthday! And then I saw this video and I was blown away! I'm yet to show him this but he's definitely going to be hooked on tech decks after see this! Amazing stop-motion Andy!👌🏾🔥
My favorite shot has to be 0:52 - When the glove's charging down the ramp (especially in the the early frames of that moment), it's got that classic intense lean that's necessary to build speed for the coming jump trick, but maintaining the 'coolness' impression with the crossed "arms" behind its back. It gives such a true-to-life self-aware skater personality; it knows what it's doing is totally sick, but couldn't be more chill about it.
Sir the efforts you took to make it totally realistic was fantastic. Hats off to you. It didnt even felt, like it was a stop motion. You took it at another level from your side. NO WORD SIR!🤐
I love that you are doing stopmotions cause those are the things that first got me into animation and stuff. Its really cool to see how you do these things. Hopefully I can be as good as you one day. Happy Holidays!!!

Have you ever thought of doing an animation with videogame characters abilities? For example, Sonic. Trying to showcase the animation process from him standing to running to turning into a ball and leaping into the air to stomp on his target. Or Spiderman using his web to move between buildings and catching the criminals. Or Batman jumping down a tube, getting dressed into his suit and then jumping into his batmobile. But showing to people that they can make any stick figures using those abilities. Would be awesome to see.
Andy- first off, the cart full of cereal. This is why we're friends :) Secondly, my favorite aspect of your commercial is the relaxed posture of the glove character!!! The ways his arms fall back behind him after he lands, the way he sits low and has "swagger"... you freaking nailed it. Also, I remember using those metal finger splints and bending them for finger boards. Never as hard core as you with the laminated paper cutouts! Aweome post.
I love this channel! My kids can sit and watch other channels all day if I let them, but they watch these videos and get excited to get off the couch and try their own projects. These are incredible videos but also explained in a way that my kids can apply some tips to create their own. Thank you for sharing your process and amazing videos!
